It was a beautiful sunny spring day not a cloud in the sky. Tyson was playing in one of the gardens. He sang soft melodies to the animals and plants surrounding him. "The sun may shine forever more on a beautiful spring morn as the animal's play-, the plants shine on this beautiful spring morn-." He sung. "Tyson, mother has called upon us." Dragoon announced walking into the gardens. "Fine, I'll be there in a minute brother." He replied smiling up at his graceful older brother. Dragoon helped his younger girly brother from the ground and they head to their mother's bedchambers.

They knocked and entered when called upon. "Good morning mother how do you feel today?" asked Tyson as he sat on his mother's right side and Dragoon on her left.

"Better today, than yesterday; not as good as tomorrow." She replied covering her mouth with a white and blue cloth as she coughed. "That's good to hear mother." Dragoon said as he gently squeezed her small slender hand that reminded him so much like his younger brother's smooth hands. "So my sweet little princess, how was your morning?" She asked her youngest son. "Great, today is beautiful and sunny." Tyson answered as he played with the silver silk ribbon tied at the end of his midnight blue plait hair with its natural baby blue highlights. "It's getting stuffy in here Ty." Dragoon said as they noticed the light drops of sweat appeared on their mother's forehead. Tyson nodded as he moved his hand using the cool wind to push open the double glass doors. "Gentle and fresh, blow from the west, like rose petals and humming bird wings." Tyson sang slowly as he concentrated on moving wind through the upper bedchambers.

They noticed her gray eyes starting to droop and bid her a good afternoon. Tyson and Dragoon took lunch in the pale blue sunroom. They chatted about everything and nothing all at once enjoying their brother bonding time. Dragoon was summoned to the throne room with their father the King to study on becoming the next King.

Tyson ran outside to meet his tutors Hiro and Brooklyn to teach him self control over his ability without focusing on solely his feelings that could control his more advanced powers as in droughts or huge thunderstorms. "The easiest way to learn a new ability is to make up a short song or rhyme." Hiro explained as all three of them sat on the grassy ground in the gardens. "Today your happy so the sun shines the brightest today, now I want you to think of a time you were upset and make it shower over the gardens." Brooklyn instructed evenly.

They sat there as Tyson thought of something sad. They watched as suddenly fat dark clouds covered the bright sun and then came Tyson's sadden quivering voice. "Rain come from far and wide cover the shine and wash away my supposed crime." A single tear fell from his storm colored eyes. "There, there" Hiro patted his back softly. "Now frost" Brooklyn encouraged gently as the rain continued to fall. Tyson's eyes suddenly hardened as he jumped to his feet and scream in a cold emotionless voice "Freeze like a day in snow, skin so blue you can hardly move!" Snow fell covering everything in a thin white powder. "Okay, Prince Tyson you're done with your training for the week." Hiro announced smiling. They blinked a few times at the sudden appearance of the sun and not a storm cloud in the forever blue sky. "Thanks have a pleasant afternoon. Hiro and Brooklyn!" Tyson shouted in a soft, windy voice. He played, meditated, and sung the last few hours of the afternoon.

Dragoon was still with their father so Tyson ate by his self in the sun room. He bathed in a spring floral of tea rose, moon flower petals, fox glove oil, and tulip scented salts. He sat on his Victorian bed with baby blue silk curtains hanging from the roof. He brushed the tangles from his long hair before he fell into a peaceful slumber.

In the middle of the night Tyson woke crying and sobbing broken heartedly in his Victorian bed. He used the wind to push open his double glass doors. The white silk curtains fluttered in the cool night breeze as a beautiful full moon shined high in the night sky. He got up and walked onto his balcony and sat with his back against the stones. Tyson watched the full moon in its pale eternal beauty. Tyson fell asleep as he gazed at the tiny twinkling stars and the calming silvery white shine.

That warm spring night the moon spirit gazed sadly down on the sweet, innocent weather holder who had woken early this dreaded day.

"Mother... Mom?" Tyson said as he slowly pushed open the door to his mother's bed chambers. "Mama?" He repeated as he laid a tan slender hand to her forehead. Her skin had a chill to the touch, so he placed two fingers lightly to her pulse point, but there wasn't one. Tyson snatched his hand back as if he had touched fire, his skin paled considerably and tears filled his storm color eyes. He stumbled back falling through the glass doors shattering them. He landed on his back on the balcony, shards of glass dug into his bare skin. The whole sky darkened and long jagged flashes of lightening lit the sky. Tyson looked at his dead mother and screamed with all that he's worth, thunder rolled in after thunder deafening the air.

Dragoon had been feeling edgy all morning as he sat beside his father. King Granger was talking to one of the guards when the sky suddenly turned a threatening black and rain started to pound the ground angrily. Dragoon, his father along with the guard walked over to the window as long jagged lightening bolts lit up the sky. They heard a heart ripping scream just seconds before the wave after wave of deafening thunder. Dragoon's sea-blue colored eyes widened as he looked over at his father who wore the same expression. All three took off for the queen's bed chambers.

They rushed into the bed chambers to see the beautiful queen in her eternal slumber. They looked from the bed to the shattered glass doors. In the middle of the balcony sat huddled in a ball rocking with blood running freely down his arms and face. The King and Dragoon both tried to step out onto the balcony when a strong gust of wind pushed them back and ripped the blue silk curtains from the onyx rods.

In the South Kingdom Dranzer and Kai were meditating in the morning sunlight in the flower gardens. Out of no where the sunlight disappeared and the blue sky blackened. Fiery met fresh spilt blood before looking to the sky. "Something must have upset the weather holder a great deal." Dranzer said in her smooth silken voice. Kai nodded his head in agreement as they stepped through the door way.

Kai suddenly turned and stepped into the pounding rain. "Did you hear that?" Kai asked as he turned and looked to his dry twin. "No." She answered as thunder hit hard. They headed for their own bed chamber when a maid with red hair and brown eyes. She bowed and said "The King and Queen wants to speak with you two in the throne room. Good day lord and lady." Dranzer watched as her twin used his ability to raise his body temperature to dry his clothes and hair. "Better." She asked smiling gently. "Better" He replied as they took off running to the throne room. "Mother, Father we're here." Kai and Dranzer announced breathing a little hard. "We're leaving for Roseary after lunch." King Hiwatari announced. "For how long?" Dranzer asked. "A couple of weeks, a month at the most." Queen Hiwatari answered. "By any chance did either of you hear a heart breaking scream just before the thunder hit?" Kai asked looking up at their parents. They looked at each other then shook their heads in the negative. "Oh, Okay." He said quietly. They headed to gather clothes into their suit cases, ate and all four headed towards the middle of all four great kingdoms. Roseary the town of the center.

In the east Kingdom, Prince Max was showing his older sister Draciel what his tutor had taught him. He was moving the water around above the Koi pond. Draciel was laughing when Max froze and the water fell back into the pond. "Maxie? Why did you stop?" She asked in her sweet voice. "She died late last night." came the toneless voice. "Who?" Draciel asked. "The one I speak of is the weather holder's mother who has just found his mother Queen Granger of the Dragon dead. She rests in her eternal sleep under my gaze." explained the toneless voice. "Thanks." She answered. "Your welcome princess." it replied. She watched as her brother blinked and turned to look at the sadden darken sky. "Let's go inside."Max said his usual cheerfulness gone. There was a sadness in his sapphire blue eyes. "Did you hear everything?" She asked as they headed to the dining room where their parents were having an early lunch. "Yes." He answered. "Mother, Father... The moon spirit has spoken again." Draciel spoke up. "What did it say?" Queen Mizuhara asked. "It said the weather holder found his mother in eternal slumber." Max answered as he bowed his head eyes down cast. "We need to gather clothes and start towards Roseary.' King Mizuhara said. They packed up clothes and headed out for the center... Roseary that afternoon.

In the West Kingdom, Ray and Driger were racing through the trees like the neko-jin's they are. "Ray freeze! It's gonna storm!" Driger shouted t his twin brother. "Why?" Ray asked. Driger shrugged his shoulders. Ray jumped up into a tree and listened to the leaves blowing in the wind. "We mourn along with the Kingdom of Dragon in the North.' whispered the leaves on the wind. Ray jumped down and took off for the castle where their parents were."Mother, Father. We have to go to the middle.' Ray announced as he pushed open the throne room door. "What happened?" asked King Kon. "A family member of the North died." Ray answered. "We'll leave at lunch, so hurry and pack." Queen Kon replied. They packed and ate lunch early. They left for Roseary the town in the middle.

Dragoon settled Tyson down enough to get him cleaned up and off to Roseary. He watched his sweet brother who just stared at the storm from the hotel suite. Their father entered the room and looked over at his youngest who sat in the window seat and gazed blankly out at the beautiful storm. "How is little Ty doing?" the King questioned. "Better, than earlier." Dragoon answered. "Did the bleeding finally stop?" He asked. Dragoon nodded his head.
