Okay! How long has it been since the last time i've updated or written a story? I missed writing so much, I was so busy. But I'm free nooooowww!

I'm sorry for the delay of Bloody nights. Here's chapter 6. I hope it's to your liking.

CHAPTER 6:

Walking down the corridor about to go home, Sasuke thought about lots of things. He recalled what happened at lunchbreak. He inwardly reprimanded himself for doing things so conspicuously. He was still quite shocked at the news that Sakura Haruno was a vampire, Sasuke was sure Naruto was probably the same. 'That maybe the reason for my careless actions...'- Sasuke thought vaguely to himself. He would make sure that he'd be more careful, for his life as well as his friends'.

Sasuke turned the corner leading to the parking lot, still pretty deep in thought. What he learnt about vampires today at the library kinda fascinated and disgusted him at the same time. According to those books, vampires were the most powerful creatures on earth, which he didn't believe until he recalled Sakura's monstrous strength, and the most stunningly beautiful, as well (again, Sakura Haruno was great example for that, too). It could be stupid for him to base on just one vampire to say about the rest, but then again, wasn't the pink haired chick some sort of princess? He was fascinated with vampires' superiority, but also disgusted by their ruthless and filthy nature. They could whatever it took to gain what they need, it could meant sleeping with someone for blood or killing someone, as well.

Sasuke frowned slightly at the thought of vampires sleeping around, 'Is Sakura like that as well?'. He shook his head and was about to open the door to the parking lot when the Uchiha heard some noise.

What he saw next wasn't the least bit pleasant.

" What in the freaking hell are you doing in the hallway?"- Sasuke's voice was low and threatening.

In front of the Uchiha was Sakura Haruno drinking the life out of some boy who he recognised as the swimming team's ace, there were drops of red liquid dripping down. The scene was disturbing, if not offending. Sakura dropped the unconscious boy down before looking at Sasuke, her mouth was red from blood. The Uchiha stared intensely at the way her tongue snaked out and licked the blood off cleanly.

"Take a picture. It'll probably last longer."- her nonchalant voice broke him free of his stupor. Sasuke realized he was staring and turned his embarrassment into anger.

" What were you thinking? Drinking someone's blood in a public place like this?"- he snapped. Sasuke wasn't sure if this girl was just simply careless or plainly stupid. She'd be dead if someone, other than him and Naruto, found her in THAT kind of activity.

" It's not like anyone was gonna see it anyway. What's the big problem?"- Sakura shrugged unapologetically, "Besides what I do and where I do it don't really have anything to do with you, why so ticked off?". It seemed as though the pink haired vixen read his thought. She was about to walk away when Sasuke grabbed her arm roughly, almost bruising, and turned her harshly around to face him. Sakura's eyes widened at the sudden act. " What do you mean "don't have anything to do" with me? If you were to di-" , Sasuke's hand was knocked off before he finished his sentence. For the first time in his life, Uchiha Sasuke was frozen under a glare, a woman's no less.

Sakura squatted the Uchiha's hand away as soon as it touched her. When masculine fingers wrapped around her arm, a flash of images suddenly ran through her mind: a woman with a whip, arms bound with strong ropes, darkness as the only companion. Immediately, Sakura whirled around and gave the Uchiha her coldest glare: "Touch me like that again, I'll kill you", her eyes flashing red. Sasuke froze at her freezing tone, her arm tucked out of his hand. Without a word, Sakura walked away, leaving him and the unconscious guy there.

Getting out of his shower, Sasuke thought about what happened in the hallway. He remembered Sakura's eyes were so dark and almost murderous, everything about her at that time was emanating killing intent. He flinched slightly at the memory. He had always known Sakura was dangerous, but it intimidated him more than he'd admit when she looked like that (she was a freaking vampire, for god's sake).

Throwing the towel he was using on the armchair, Sasuke plopped down unceremoniously on the cushioned seat. He faced skyward and scrunched his eyebrows in deep thought. Why did Sakura react so badly and violently when he just held her wrist? It wasn't like he could harm her anyway. And the expression on her face was unsual for someone who was used to touching others, especially boys. As he thought about it and analysed the event, Sasuke realized one thing: Sakura Haruno was an enigmatic puzzle, and as bright as she appeared to be, her past was as shady as it could be.

"Hiiyaaa~~~ What a day~~"- Sakura sighed blissfully as she sank in the hot water. After her encounter with the Uchiha, the rosette left with an uncomfortable and angry feeling. Who was he to lecture her! She was much older than that brat, probably more than a hundred years or so. Such an insolent brat. Sakura snorted derisively at the thought. She sank even lower, letting the water came over her nose.

Through what she could see from yesterday's night and today's event, Sakura knew for sure that those brats wouldn't leave her alone, especially that Naruto boy. The pink haired girl was aware of the fact that the boy had some sort of fond spot for her, just from observing. Now that they knew the truth, those two probably wouldn't drop it and would follow her into this stupid and bloody mess. As if being chased by a bunch of psychotic vampires wasn't enough, now she had two very stubborn humans behind her back as well.

At the thought, Sakura heaved out a heavy sigh and submerged into the tub. She let the water work wonders on her stiff neck and back, finally relishing the feelings of relaxation. After this, she would enjoy dinner and the exceptional red bean cake she had gone through the trouble of fighting for peacefully. Or so she thought.

RINGGGGG RINGGGGGG

"SAKURA-CHAN! It's me, Naruto!"- was it just her, or this seemed to happen more often lately?

Naruto didn't know why or how he ended up at Sakura-chan's house. When he finally broke out of his stupor, the blonde had already knocked the door led to the rosette's flat. He could hear her footstep at the other side of the door. After 48 seconds ( and yes, he counted), the door finally clicked open, revealed a very underdressed pink haired girl. The blonde's eyes almost popped out of their sockets at the sight: Haruno Sakura in nothing but a towel. That night, Uzumaki Naruto, 16 years old, almost died of high blood pressure.

"KYAA! WHAA-? P- PUT ON SOME CLOTHES, SAKURA-CHAN!"- Naruto let out a high-pitched scream while covering his eyes.

"Shut up, idiot! It's 9pm! You're disturbing everyone!"- Sakura scolded as she punched him in the face then dragged the poor guy inside, "I just got out of the bath. Stay here and be quiet, let me go change. Understood?" – Naruto nodded, pale as Sakura threw him one last glare before stomping in her room.

'Hic..hic..wh-where..is my gentle Sakura-channn?'- Naruto wept miserably in the corner, fantasizing about a gentle and demure Sakura at school, instead of this violent and scary Sakura.

Taking advantage of Sakura's changing time, Naruto glanced around her flat. Surprisingly enough for a girl, Sakura's place was plain with almost no color, except white and a bit of green. There was only one sofa with an armchair and a TV for the living room, no other decorations like photos or flowers. The kitchen had enough utensils for cooking but there was nothing other than that. He didn't know what her bedroom was like, but judging by the living room and the kitchen, it seemed as though the rosette would be ready to move away any moment. Somehow, Naruto felt something akin to sadness and emptiness in the pit of his stomach.

"Done observing?"- Naruto was jolted out of his reverie as Sakura's voice rang through the place. The blonde shakily turned around, afraid of another shocking scene. Lucky for him ( and his fragile heart), Sakura was fully and appropriately clothed.

"Ah. Sakura-chan, now that I think about it. Isn't your place a bit...plain?"- Naruto asked, trying to be as nonchalant as possible.

"Hm? Plain? Well, I like it this way. Too many things can be complicated."- the way she said it made Naruto think she was talking about something else, "So, why are you here?"

"Aaaa. Well, I don't know how I ended up at your house. Before I realized it, I was already here."- Naruto answered truthfully, scratching his head sheepishly, " I guess this is what they call fate huh? Must be love calling me here." The blonde grinned boyishly at Sakura. The pinkette only looked at him wide-eyed.

"Love? Are you stupid?"- after what seemed like an eternity, Sakura finally laughed.

"No really! It's love! LOVE! Sakura-chan. Don't you think we're fated to be together, huh? Huh?"- Naruto wiggled his eyebrow suggestively in a playful manner. Then all of a sudden, Sakura grabbed his neck in a head lock playfully from behind, all the while grinding her fist on his head.

"Idiot~~~ I'd rather die than be fated with you!"- the words left her lips jokingly, but her eyes reflected the hiding truth.

Thank you everyone for reading this. I'm really sorry for such a long time delay.
