The dreaded day was coming, I could feel it deep inside me. The cold was just around the corner. The day I had to go into hiding. I wouldn't get to have all the fun my sisters would get to have. I wouldn't get to sing the songs they would get to sing. But most of all, I wouldn't get my special kiss under the mistletoe. That dreaded day was coming, the first day of Winter.
