I finally got Tony to leave dinner alone. I sighed a little cause I knew that I would have to cook more. Steve heard me sigh and walked up behind me.
"Are you alright Miss Valentina?" Steve asked me.
"Yes I am fine but I made this pizza big enough just for the three of us. Now that there are others I am going to have to cook a lot more." I explained and went to start working.
"We didn't mean to make more work for you Valentina. How about you three eat what you cooked and we will order more pizza." Pepper said and started to order some food.
I smiled and cut up the pizza that I had made and gave Steve and Thor a slice. We walked out to the living room where the others were looking around my home. My brown stone for once in a long time was filled with laughter.
Clint had come down from his perch outside of my home and was settled in one of my couches. I smiled and sat in my comfy red chair. Well I say chair but it is more like a long couch. It is very comfy and all you want to do is fall asleep in it. I snuggled into the arm rests and Steve sat in front of me smiling at me and taking a bite out of the pizza I gave him.
Tony had been quiet for a while until I saw that he had a movie in his hand. It was one of the Saw movies. He smiled at me and got up.
"Well since we are all here why don't we watch a movie." Tony said as he walked to my Blu-ray player and popped the disk in.
"Are you sure you want to watch that one Tony? It's supposed to be scary." I said to him wanting to see if I could scare him at all.
"Oh trust me I know that it is supposed to be scary but when you see the Hulk naked with a rager charging after you." Tony stated and shivered.
"Do I want to hear this story?" I looked to Dr. Banner.
"I was in the shower trying to calm down from seeing something very sexy and Tony came into the bathroom and drenched me with green paint. I was shocked and turned into Hulk. He didn't even dress up he just chased after Tony until he caught him and told him no paint Banner." Dr. Banner explained and if you watched him just right you could see that he was blushing.
I started laughing almost falling out of my seat. Steve turned and helped me making sure that I stayed in my seat. I finally caught my breath and just shook my head.
"Alright lets enjoy the carnage!" I said and watched the movie.
We were all just staring at the screen, watching the torture with squeamish faces. I looked around and giggled a little. These people have fought aliens and demi gods but a chick getting frozen solid makes them squeamish.
Clint looked at me funny when he heard my giggle but I just smiled at him and went back to the movie. The doorbell rang next and made Tony and Pepper scream like little girls. I just fell out of the chair and landed on the ground laughing. Oh god nothing could ever make this moment better. I got up, still laughing mind you and opened the door. There stood a young man holding quite a few pizzas.
"Oh thank you so much." I told him and was about to grab the boxes but stopped when Thor came out of nowhere and grabbed the boxes. The young man looked at Thor and smiled in a flirty way. I just smiled and waited to see if Thor noticed.
"Hello young man." Thor said and patted his shoulder in a friendly gesture.
"Hello to you too sugar. Hey when I get off shift why don't I come back over and see if you are really as sweet as you look." He said and leaned against the door way. I had already signed for the pizzas but this was way better than any movie I was going to watch.
"I can assure you young man that I am not sweet, I am a warrior." Thor stated innocently enough.
"Oh so you're a power top then. This night just got a lot better for me." The young man said with a wicked gleam in his eyes.
I couldn't handle it any longer and just walked away. The others stopped the movie to ask why my face was so red and I just started laughing again.
"Oh oh god, Tony please go and save Thor. He is about to find out what a power top is." I said around laughter as the others just paled at the thought.
Tony ran to save his demi-god friend and Steve still looked a little worried.
"Is a power top a bad thing Miss Valentina?" Steve asked me with a little fear in his tone.
"It is slang for a gay male who is the man in the relationship while the other male is the woman. The Power top is very dominate, muscle bound and very much the alpha male." I explained to him. He looked a little upset at first then started to calm down.
"So because Thor is not gay then this is funny correct?" Steve asked me.
"Oh this is very funny." I stated and just waited for them to come back to the living room.
"ALRIGHT FINE HE IS MY GAY LOVER AND IF YOU DON'T LEAVE THIS STOOP RIGHT NOW I WILL HAVE YOU FIRED AND ARRESTED FOR SEXUAL HARASHMENT!" Tony screamed at the top of his lungs.
Every one couldn't handle it anymore and we all just died laughing. The movie and the terror it had afflicted us long forgotten. Finally the duo came back to the living room and we just stared at them. Tony had a blush on his face and Thor was none to please. This just made things so much worse for them.
The laughter continued as we placed the boxes onto the coffee table and started to pass out slices from not only the bought pizza but the made pizza as well. We returned to watching the movie and just enjoyed the rest of the night. I noticed after the laughter had died that Steve had moved a little closer to me. Like really close, he was basically sitting next to me and I could tell that he was trying to put his arm around me. I just smirked and picked his arm up and wrapped it around myself.
He looked at me with a small smile on his face then turned back to the movie. I just rolled my eyes and enjoyed the pleasant sensation he gave me while he held me. For some reason this one simple act made me very happy. I knew that with him being from the 1930's he was going to take any romantic relationship slow.
I blinked at myself at the realization that I was expecting some romance from him when there wasn't any clear indication that we were going to be a couple. I just breathed in deeply and calmed down. He could very well just want to comfort me because that is what men did in his time. They comforted the lady folk by letting them lean on them for strength.
The movie was almost over when Steve looked at me and leaned his head to settle on top of mine. My heart raced at this new gesture from him. I smiled to myself and enjoyed the rest of the movie with my new friends.
