"Hermione, you have got to be kidding me right now"
From the other side of the curtains Hermione just rolls her eyes. "Oh come on, it's not that bad. Besides, Luna and Cho are wearing it too." That said, Ginny pops her head out from the dressing room angrily, staring at her older friend with something that can only be described as a mixture of terror and anger.
"You forced Cho and Luna into this device of torture too? What kind of evil person are you?!"
"Just come out already, we don't have all day"
"I hate you"
Ginny murmurs incoherently for a few seconds, and when she finally pulls it aside, she's shooting Hermione a dirty glare - which the latter ignores, of course - before letting out a deep breath. "Okay, are you happy now?" she says, crossing her bare arms across her chest. Hermione beams happily and actually claps her hands a few times, and Ginny wonders why she's even here in the first place, and why she's here with Hermione of all people because surely she could have found better things to do and wow this thing actually looks pretty good on her and she's going to kill Hermione for getting her into this.
"You look amazing!" Hermione says happily, and Ginny has to agree with her, even though she normally wouldn't be caught dead in something like this.
The corset hugs her just the way it should, and the colors actually doesn't look as bad as it did on the mannequin, she has to admit that. Just above the hem of it, the crest of Gryffindor is embroded ("You see, the other Houses have their own version!"), and next to the petite crest are the buttons that are holding the corset in place. Hermione had also somehow convinced her into wearing a skirt along with it (Merlin knows how) that reaches the floor. The material is light and soft, swooshing around her when she's making the smallest of movements, and the black flats on her feet was a pair she had borrowed from Hermione (who didn't listen to Ginny's protest throughout the whole thing).
"It's not that bad, actually" she admits, and Hermione grins. "You should let me do this mo-"
"NO!"
