So I'm not really sure if this is even worth finishing... I kind of suck at writing soooo may bad if it's bad!

When Nell had finished telling Kensi about the kiss, the conversation they had just had, and the way Eric had just walked out it got really quiet. Kensi was processing it all and Nell was trying to not blab any more.

"How does that make you feel?" Kensi asked being quite honest, and trying to channel Nate.

"What?" Nell hadn't really heard what she had been asked, "Oh! Umm..." she looked pensive at the large screen in the center of the room, as if hoping it held all of the answers. "I just... Its not like we're... its"

Complicated. That was the word she was looking for. But with the things they saw on a daily basis, the lives that were lost for stupid reasons, the wars that were fought, the places that needed saving... complicated didn't even seem like a fair word to use when that's what you work with, but it fit so perfect, and yet she couldn't bring herself to say it.

"We will go out tonight and talk, I have a mountain of paperwork to do, as Deeks oh so kindly keeps reminding me, and I bet you have some things you want to think over before you really know how you feel," Kensi said with a smile, she got up went to the door, "meet you at the usual!" she left a confused Nell staring off into space.

If you walked into ops you could almost feel the tension, it may have looked normal but everything was not normal. Eric and Nell sat side by side at their computers, but there was no noise but the hum of monitors and the clicking of keys. Callen walked in and almost wilted under the stare of nell when he asked what was up. Kensi was the only one who had managed to make it out unharmed, and that was the way the day went.

"Any one know what the hell is going on up there?" Deeks finally asked the people in the bull pen. He was the first to voice what was on all the mens minds.

All eyes turned straight to Kensi like she was supposed to know everything, which she did but she wasn't going to tell them, well mostly Deeks, that! Why ruin the fun!? "Why are you being so nosy?"

"Oh come on sugar bear! I know you know! What is it? Does Nell have a boyfriend and Eric's jealous? Or is it the other way around?" Deeks was always one for the theories.

"How bout you mind your own damn business shaggy?" was Sams contribution to the conversation, which was followed by a round of laughter from Callen and Kensi.

"Everything should work it self out, and that's all I'm going to say," Kensi said as things died down.

"And that's probably for the best ms. Blye, as you wouldn't want to lose ms. Jones trust now would you?" Hetty had yet again quietly come behind them while they were talking, smiling she turned to leave and added, "you cant give advice worth listening too unless you know what the other person is going through." Hetty smiled to her self as she continued on to her office, out of the corner of her eye she could see Kensi doing her best to hide the blush that was creeping up her neck.

She couldn't take it anymore! The lack of light conversation was going to drive Nell Jones mad! So she got up and went somewhere she rarely goes, the gym. Maybe running, or hitting something will make me feel better. She thinks as she leaves the locker room.

The elliptical seemed like the best option, so she started to run, soon getting lost in thought. What was I thinking? It isn't like I didn't want to kiss him! And he wasn't complaining! Why is he acting like its such a big deal? Okay that's a lie, I know it's a big deal; I just don't know what to do now. I don't do relationships very well, and hes such a sweet guy that I'm just...

And that's where Kensi found her 30 minuets and 4 miles later. "Damn Nell! Chill! This isn't the Boston marathon!"

"I'm just blowing off some steam," she said between heavy breaths, not really realizing how fast she had been running."let me get showered and cleaned up and we can go out and get something to eat, I'm starving!"

"I bet you are!" Kensi shouted after her as she walked toward the women locker room.

"So let me get this straight! She kissed you?" the look on Deeks face was priceless, "Nell? As in Nell Jones? The red head whose your partner?"

"Yes Deeks, that's what the man said! Keep up!" Sam snapped as Deeks interrupted Erics retelling of what had happened under the mistletoe, "Now Eric, what did you say after she kissed you?"

Eric shook his head Of all the things I could have said... "What was that!?" he looked at the desk and let out a heavy breath, "I keep playing it over and over in my head and I know I should have... well to late for that."

Okay so if I keep going the next chapter will pick up with advice from the boys for Eric and then from Kensi to Nell. Then probably a resolution, I'm not a believer in the whole 'get together and then all of the sudden they are in love' thing. As much as we all want for that to happen the likely hood of it is so small its not even wasting time writing about in my opinion. You can disagree if you like but that's just me. Sorry for any mistakes, I'm dyslexic so making myself write is a little hard because you aren't ever really sure if you should be writing at all, oh well, hope you like.
