The chocolate chip muffins that Pearl and Trucy had made were possibly the best food that Renesmee had ever tasted. Then again, that wasn't really saying much considering that she didn't really eat at all when she was at home. She ate it all in only four bites and nearly went back for more. She didn't though, because she knew she'd have to leave room for the pizza and ice cream that were still to come.

As she cleared the crumbs from around her lips she pondered how a blood muffin might taste. She knew it would sound disgusting to both humans and vampires alike but it made her taste buds yearn.

"Okay girls, I'll call for the pizza, but you have to clean up the mess in the kitchen or me and Apollo are going to eat it all." Phoenix called from the hallway.

All three girls sighed and Pearl shouted back "Awww, do we have to Nick?"

"Yep, you made the mess. You clean it up." He really wasn't going to budge and to be fair the girls had made quite a mess earlier on.

"Come on girls." Renesmee smiled. "We've got lots of muffin batter to clean up." She winked at them, one thing that they had left out was the excess baking mix.

The girls understood instantly and fained sudden interest in the activity.

"Oh, yes..." Pearl smiled as she walked towards the kitchen "... We really mustn't leave any dirty dishes."

"We expect cheesy fries for the excellent work we'll be doing." Trucy told her father as they went into the kitchen. "You will be amazed by the transformation." She grinned as the door closed behind her.

When Apollo entered the kitchen, the girls were all sat on the floor with a small pile of cards in the center of them.

Trucy looked up from the hand full of aces and kings that she held in her hand. Apollo figured that she was probably cheating.

"Polly!" She jumped up and bounced on her toes, the cards still clutched in her hands. "Is the pizza here?"

"Yes." He replied slowly, holding a hand up to stop her from rushing out of the room. "But first... I need to make sure that you guys did a good job."

"There is not a pot that is not sparkling." Trucy told him.

As Apollo looked around the room he saw that she was right, it seemed as though they had cleaned every surface. The sink was empty and the pots were all where they were supposed to be. It by far exceeded his expectations and in fact, it seemed a little fishy.

"When did you girls get so good at cleaning up after yourselves?" He looked towards Pearl and Trucy.

"Well, actually, we have always been excellent at it, but... I do admit that Nessie was a great help." Trucy explained.

It should have been obvious really. Trucy had never been any good at anything to do with housekeeping and Pearl generally refused to do it after she had left the confines of the temple.

Apollo frowned at Trucy as she smiled up at him, "Trucy. You shouldn't make the guests do all of the work."

"But..." Trucy began before she was interrupted.

"It's okay, I really don't mind." Renesmee smiled innocently at Apollo.

The way that she looked at him, it made him so calm all of a sudden, there was no way he could stay angry at her.

"Well," he reasoned "As long you are all okay with it..." The girls all nodded their approval. "and I do have to admit that you did a pretty good job. So I guess you can go and get your pizza."

The girls squealed, causing Apollo to cover his ears and hastily move aside as they rushed out of the room. He leaned back on the counter top and sighed, he was incredibly grateful that on most occasions he only had to cope with two teenage girls.

After only fifteen minutes all that was left was two large pizza boxes and a scattering of crusts. Trucy licked her lips an smiled "Well, Apollo, you have out done yourself with your pizza buying and party planning skills."

Apollo stood and took a mock bow " Why thank you, but the entertainment is not over yet."

As if by fates own hand, at that very moment, the door bell rang and spread the sound of the steel samurai throughout the apartment.

"And there he is now."
