Thank you everyone for such sweet reviews! And thank you to those who favorited and followed! Crazy-Pairing-Girl, thank you for adding my story to your community! That hasn't happened with any of my stories. :)
Even if you haven't reviewed or followed etc. I still love you for reading this story. :) So thank you everyone!
I feel like I rushed this chapter, but I'm not very good at endings. However I've thinking about making a little sequel if everyone wanted one.
I do not own Dog with a Blog.
Stan's POV
I had waited for about a month, and I decided that this couldn't wait. So I called a meeting in the living room after school.
I set the piece of paper with the full story and book of prophecies down on the table, "I'm tired of secrets. We need to come clean to each other now!"
Avery picked up the piece of paper and looked at it, "What is this?"
"It's the entire prophecy of the talking dog. I found a piece of it in Chloe's book."
Tyler jumped up and snatched the paper, "You found the whole thing?!"
"Yep," I answered before looking at Avery, "I know you don't believe in this stuff, but I think this prophecy is about me. That comet that passed not long ago how old will you be when it passes again?"
"Twenty-eight."
Tyler said, "This says Avery will be 28 too."
"It talks about me?"
I answered, "Yes it does. It's describing my owner with blonde hair and abundance of creativity."
"And how you like her," Chloe added, "I mean how you like, like her."
"Yes, even that! Oh, whoops." I looked to Avery and saw her astonished expression.
"Really?" she asked.
"I... I..." I sighed, "Yes I do. I've had this feeling for a long time." I looked at Chloe and spoke with a hint of frustration, "And I wanted to wait a couple of years before I told you."
Chloe shrugged, "I decided to move things along. Now comes the moment where Avery tells you she like, likes you too." In a way Chloe was right. Avery didn't say anything, but she leaned over and hugged me. At first I was shocked, but then I found snuggling deeper into her hug.
Years later...
The comet is supposed to pass again tonight, and this was the night that Avery and I decided we'd be married. We wanted it in the woods by this beautiful lake so it'd be more private. The world went nuts when they heard that the world's first talking dog is getting married. The fact that I was marrying a famous artist and writer helped get attention too.
The man marrying us was reading some stuff talking about eternal love and that, but I couldn't concentrate. I was standing in front of Avery and she was wearing the most gorgeous white dress I had ever seen (I was wearing a suit, but it made me look ridiculous). She had grown much since I had confessed my feelings for her, so in order to be at her level I was standing on a ladder.
"I do," she said. That snapped me back into the present.
"Do you, Stan, take Avery Jennings as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"Yep."
"Then I now pronounce you husband and wife." Avery kissed the top of my muzzle as our family members clapped. Lindsey was wiping her eyes and Chloe was cheering like someone would at a concert.
Avery began to jog down the aisle, but stopped, "Aren't you coming Stan?"
"I would, but I can't get down from this later." Bennet ran over and picked me up off the ladder. I charged after Avery as we both ran around the field, not having a care in the world as the comet passed over the sky. The world is indeed changing dramatically.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I really hope you enjoyed. :)
