Whoo! Fourth chapter guys!...After how long? A few months? It feels like forever. I am SO SO sorry about my lazy updating, I actually was busy this time and had huge writers block but I'm very sorry . I admittedly was putting it off a bit as well…I'm a bit worried about writing other peoples OCs. THANK YOU for those, by the way; Aura-envylove, Piper-inu26 and Dark200 :D. Please please do tell me if I write your characters wrong in any way; PM me or review, I don't want to ruin their image haha.

You have NO IDEA (unless you write fanfics yourself) how much reviews help to motivate, so please do . Also, even if it takes forever for me to update, I won't be giving up on this fic. 1. Because it PISSES ME OFF when others do that, and 2. Because I have an awesome- ass plot laid out for this, and want to get it down.

(Third person POV- somewhere near Konoha)

Kameko Hayashi, Kōyō Mikazuki, and Kiara Akane stood facing in the direction of the hidden leaf, each with a different expression on their face, one person in particular looking quite miserable being there. This person was Kiara.

"I didn't agree to this job to just stand around in the sun," she muttered, "I hate the daytime …what are you grinning about?"

"Are you always this paranoid?" questioned Kōyō, said grin evident on her face, "You're like an owl, the daytime won't hurt you,"

"It's not just that; I'm not so sure I trust our hirer either," came the response.

"Aww, come on; we're just doing a little spying here and there, getting paid and then leaving; there's really no cause for concern, y'know," Pointed out Kameko.

"…Whatever, something about this Mineko character just seems suspicious is all… remember what happened the last time someone like that hired us together?"

Kameko shuddered, "way to ruin the mood,"

"You know that time the requirements were almost exactly the same," Kōyō murmured, deep in thought, "I wonder who Mineko really is…"

(Ayas' POV-…the middle of nowhere, a random path, engaged in one of the most retarded and pointless conversations that had by now become a common occurrence within the Akatsuki)

"But Tobi doesn't get it, Sakana-Kun! Why do you need webbed feet all the time; can't you just perform a Jutsu that gives you them when they're needed?!"

"I've told you this before! It doesn't work like that!"

"But why not!"

"They're a Kekkei Genkai okay!"

"What kind of a Kekkei Genkai is that?!"

"One of my parents was a fish, the other a human. Happy now?"

"Wait so does that mean a fish and a human had…"

"BLOODY HELL NO! I was the result of an experiment, done like IVF treatment, but raised in a test tube,"

"…What place does that as an experiment,"

"Hell if I know,"

"Tobi bets it was Orochimaru. I'll bet he did it so he could spy on naked kids,"

"THE FUCK ARE YOU ON ABOUT!? THIS IS MY CHILDHOOD YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!"

"…Must have been a very disturbing childhood,"

"…Please, shut up,"

"Sorry, Sakana-Kun,"

We walked in silence for about 30 seconds before I had to speak up.

"…The hell was that conversation about?..."

"Webbed feet," came Tobi's response.

"Why oh why did you have to die and leave me with these idiots, Sasori-Danna, hmm," I vaguely heard Deidara mutter from behind me. I gave him what I hoped was a sympathetic smile.

"Please stop that, hmm,"

"…Sorry,"

Another 30 seconds of awkward silence.

"So… we're meeting two people this time, huh? What was it they were called...Sasayaku and Tsubasa? Doesn't Sasayaku mean whisper? Kinda cool,"

"…Yup, hmm"

10 minutes of me and Tobi trying, with no avail, to start a decent conversation later.

"Hey, Aya, what was that whole thing about Sakana forgetting where he was?...You looked pretty messed up by it all, yeah" This time it was Deidara making conversation, for once.

"Yeah…I don't know, it was just almost like I was in his head and could control his memories or something…"

"That normal in your world?"

By now Tobi was filling the very confused-looking Sakana-jin in with the details about me.

"…Thankfully, no,"

"Huh, maybe it's some sort of unknown Kekkei Genkai, un"

"We don't have Kekkei Genkai there,"

"Maybe it's some sort of power you acquire when you travel through universes, or perhaps something that can only be awakened here," Piped up Tobi, only a hint of goofiness in his voice.

We both blinked in surprise. Me at the fact that Obito was so willing to drop his Tobi act; and Deidara at that fact that Tobi could think up an idea that was even slightly reasonable.

"…I didn't think Tobi could think up an idea that was even slightly reasonable, hmm"

"I didn't think Obi- oh… oh, wait, I probably shouldn't voice my thoughts out loud…that, that would not be a good idea,"

"What thoughts, Aya-chan?" questioned Tobi innocently. I cringed. I was now officially terrified of Obito.

"N-nothing! Heh…heh… B-but anyway, you may have a point Tobi," I stumbled over my words in my hurry to change the subject, still careful to make sure I said Tobi.

Deidara raised an eyebrow; obviously confused by our conversation, "Yeah…we'll have to tell leader when we get back, hmm," We all nodded in agreement.

"Hey, sempai! Isn't this the meeting place?"

We had stopped in a small clearing in a forest, where a woman with bright red hair and a man with dark brown hair stood waiting. The woman turned to us.

"Akatsuki, I presume," she questioned, glancing at Deidara and Tobi, who then nodded at her. The womans' gaze then turned to me and Sakana-jin. "…and who might you be?"

"This is Sakana-jin and Aya," intervened Deidara, "Sakana's the other new recruit, and Aya…well, Aya's a long story, hmm,"

The woman nodded slowly, clearly confused but not all that bothered.

"Right… well, I'm Sasayaku, and this here is Tsubasa," Sasayaku indicated towards the dark haired man behind her. He raised his hand in a half-hearted greeting.

"Okay! Let's get going Sempai!"

And with that, everyone turned to leave, leaving me trailing behind confused about two things; were all ninjas this brief about everything, introductions included? and that both these Tsubasa and Sasayaku people were strikingly familiar from somewhere… a bit like Sakana-jin, now that I thought about it. Something was definitely up here, the fact that I was in an Anime universe aside, and I was determined to get to the bottom of why every person not mentioned in the anime seemed to resemble someone from my old world.

I narrowed my eyes, trying to think which person from my old world exactly reminded me of the people in front of me. Tsubasa certainly look exactly like my friend Adam, even if his personality, from what I'd managed to pick up from his lack of words, was almost the opposite to my friend. Sasayaku seemed very much like Ahlia, who I'd known since I was three… but if that was the case, I'd have to guess her startlingly red hair was dyed.

Looking over at the two, I could see that Tobi was excitedly explaining to them how I'd gotten here for the second time today. I had to wonder just how he seemed to remember my explanation seemingly word for word. I guessed it was something sharingan related.

"…Isn't that right Aya-chan!?"

"H-huh? Yeah, sure," I stammered, having no idea what Obito was rambling on about. He apparently had finished my story and was discussing… dangos? With a perplexed looking Sasayaku and Tsubasa. Honestly, I couldn't blame them; when you join an evil organisation, you don't exactly expect your first conversation to be with a far too enthusiastic masked idiot talking about sweets.

"Personally, I think they taste nicer when you eat them all in one; you get all the flavour at once, ya know?"

I sighed quietly to myself. This whole chapter had basically just been Tobi trying just a little bit too hard to come across as an idiot and I was getting a little tired of it. There goes any hope of my plot building thoughts.

"I can't wait to get back to the base! Ooh, do you think Leader-Sama will let us go out for dangos together!?"

"No, Tobi. Just no,"

Finally! Again so, so, so sorry about the wait time, but it's done now! This chapter's pretty rushed, but I just wanted to get it done and up before I forgot about it. I'm not giving it up though. Thank you so much for reading!
