Chapter 11: Wandering By Tiny Feet
Awaking to a new surrounding, seeing something not elsewhere. How could one pass up a moment like it, so it see? Even one is bedridden. The lust for adventure is hard to let be, even for a moment like this. A small price to pay when having a mind that has develop the thought process of there-is-always-next-time.
But, really, tell that to the tiny paws of drifting that.
"You should now be resting, Latvia."
"I-I will, but please." The shy-like voice called out to the deeper voice, in a somewhat pleading tone.
The other only sighed and kept following kit. For many reasons to long to list. And to that, the older feline went on, keeping a train eye on the other.
"Russia, what's that?" The kit asked, stopping near something hung on the wall, above him.
"A painting. Humans like to bring in things that can't ever be moved in their homes into theirs. Pitifully really."
"B-b-but the colors! Bright! And umm . . . "
"Beautiful?" Russia taking a shot of what the other was trying to think of, while moving to sit by the other, who still had his eyes on the painting.
"Da, it fits. Thank you, Russia, sir."
"Welcome."
With a few seconds as looking at the painting, Latvia rushed somewhere else. Leaving Russia to duck his head low in tiredness, whipping his tail in a lazy motion. Before finally finding his footing of bothering to go catch with the other. Soon finding that the other, luckily, didn't traveled too far.
"My, wherever your paws carry you. I can't seem to follow, little kit."
Latvia stopped and turned to face Russia, with a small smile within his muzzle.
"I must quickly be getting better then?"
"Da."
"Da!" The younger cat shouted with glee, giving a short jump.
Enough for his happiness to oddly be seen, but overly done to hurt himself. With coming to understanding that fleeting fact, Latvia spoke up to Russia, when they getting closer of the end of their little trip.
"Russia?"
"Da."
"When I get really better. Can we go outside?"
"Why?"
"I want to see the white flakes not just from a window."
Russia moved a little farther ahead than the other, giving some thought of what the kit had said to him. Going with how the weather patterns were like around the winter blocks. Also adding that they were in a new place, where the weather might be a bit off than what Russia was always used to.
"If the weather is fair. We'll see."
"Really?"
"Da. Now let's be off. Dinner is just a few minutes away and we don't your master eating alone. Do we?"
"Nope."
