Chapter 14: One's Past Is Also A Another's

The kitten is not the only to hide things. All creatures that walk the earth of the past, now, and future, all have something to hide. It is how nature is. Be it fully true or not. A secrete, be that of a white lie to something as murder.

It is all how the world works.

Yet, with that very fact rattling in my mind. Why can't I let the kitten be for it.

The Russian cat looks down by his side of the smaller feline. His eyes drilling so deeply without knowing, the tiny kit shakes from a sudden chill, turning away from it and looking for warmth far from that unknowing coldness.

I know he wants to get along with me. In fears of those time again. Those snowdrops of ice, never lie, when they strike down a poor soul. Forever haunting one's eyes. A price one must pay for.

Another price is for when a choice is also is in the matter. Kill or be killed.

Russia glanced away from Latvia for a moment, in a matter to calm himself. After recalling so much in such little time. All because Latvia had to go search for him. Very close in maybe ending his life, again.

"It's them."

He shook in fear he didn't know he had. For all the years, able to block it away and far from him. Knowing that it couldn't help him. Not even at a time like this.

Even in the right moment, Latvia didn't show fear of what going on. And if so, something else got his mind off it and away from it.

But, no, not even this kind of fear is something that can't ever be easily shaken off. No matter how hard one must try to do so.

The snowdrops of ice return.

"Please Latvia, I hope for whatever you know. That'll you tell me. And soon."

They near, through the very storms now, little kit.

The larger cat rose a paw, petting the tuffs of fur stands on Latvia's head. In a calming matter. For the both of them. As Russia once more, dared, himself to look out the window. The snow stopped falling, but stood tall enough to lean against the window.

"He comes as well?"

Russia shook his head, far ready to deal with him as well. For he felt far too old for whatever the said thing Russia spoke of.
