Loren's POV
Loren: Would everyone please SHUT THE FUCK UP?!
I stood up and removed the napkin from Eddie's mouth.
Loren: As I was saying Eddie I can't make you the happiest man in the earth BUT I can make you the luckiest guy on earth.
Eddie: Waait... Are you saying yes to me?
Loren: Are you Eddie Duran?
Eddie: Yes
Loren: Then a thousand times yes!
Eddie: Really?
Loren: I love you.
He fiddled in his pocket and took the ring out of the box and slid it on my finger. He kissed me passionately until Derek rushed in.
Derek: FUCK YOU LEAH!
Leah: Wait Derek! Don't go.
Derek: Forget it ! I'm divorcing you!
Derek ran out and Leah followed closely behind.
Crowd Person: Hey lets follow them outside!
Eddie: Lets take the back door.
Loren: Good idea.
I followed Eddie close behind and found Leah crying and Derek pulling out the lot.
Loren: Leah. What happened? Are you okay?
Leah: No I'm not. Can I stay at your place tonight?
I looked up at Eddie and he nodded.
Loren: Sure take as much time as you need.
Leah: Can I go now?
Loren: Hey Eddie-
Eddie: My driver will be here in 5 minutes.
Leah: Thanks Eddie and Congrats on the engagement.
Loren: Thanks sis. If you need anything please don't hesitate to call me.
Leah: Okay. You guys go enjoy your night. I'll be fine.
Eddie: Are you sure?
Leah: Yeah
Loren: Thanks. I'll check up on you later.
Eddie and I walked back in the restaurant and everyone said "Congrats". Mel and Ian stood up and tapped their glasses.
Mel: I would just like to congratulate my best friend and her fiance on their engagement. I would also like to announce that I'm 6 weeks pregnant. I couldn't hide anymore from you guys.
Mel turned to her side and we saw a small baby bump and Ian was smiling so hard.
Loren: (yelling angrily) Melissa Sanders! You have been hiding a huge secret like this from me your best friend. Then to an-
Mel: I'm sorry Lo. I didn't mean to steal your night away from you-
Loren: Oh SHUT THE FUCK UP! AND ALLOW ME TO FINISH MY SENTENCE !
Everyone in the restaurant turn to a furious Loren who was standing up with a hand on her hip.
Eddie: Lo. C'mon this is great news! Sit back down babe.
Loren: Eddie. SHHH!
Nora: What are you doing? You should be happy for Mel and you'll have a niece running around your house.
I slowly walked up to Mel until I was up to her nose.
Loren: Do you know if it is Ian's?
Eddie: Lo-
Mel: No Eddie. This was going to come out sooner or later.
Ian: What the hell is she talking about?
Loren: Do you want me to tell him that you slept with Eddie or should you? Oops. Sorry it just slipped out of my mouth! You little WHORE!
Ian: What?
Mel: Ian its not what you think it was one time and I was really-
Ian: Save it MELISSA!
Eddie: Look Ian...
Ian jumped over the table to slap Eddie when Eddie ducked and Ian landed on the ground. Eddie offered his hand to Ian when Ian pulled him down to the ground. Ian jumped on top of him and punched him repeatedly. I grabbed Ian and pried him off of Eddie. Max went up to Ian and sat him down away from Eddie.
Nora: Loren. How dare you spill secrets in a public place?
Loren: How could I? Eddie cheated on me with my ex best friend aka that bitch over there. She and Eddie had sex in my house and you expect me to be cool about it? I thought you would understand since you were cheated on by Trent!
Nora: You could've of said it some other context now you have ruined someone's marriage. Look at Mel.
I saw Mel sitting in a corner trying to talk to Ian but he just walked out of the restaurant.
Loren: I don't give a damn! I love Eddie but I couldn't keep on this whole act where I didn't know that didn't sleep together. Mel would stare and smile at Eddie when I wasn't looking. They did something that was so bad that they had to keep it from me .So I concluded that they slept together.
Eddie: Well maybe you should stop jumping into crazy conclusions.
Loren: Maybe you should not cheat on me. You MAN WHORE!
Eddie: Loren stop you are drunk.
Loren: You are not my fucking mother or father so I don't have to listen to a damn thing you say.
Nora: But I am. Loren you need to calm down and listen to Eddie.
Loren: No I don't. I'm a grown ass woman and all of you can go to fuck*ng hell.
I stormed out of the restaurant not caring that the paparazzi was in my face asking me questions about my relationship. I kept on walking until they were gone and I arrived in front of someone's house. The person I would never see again in my life.
I knocked on the door and he was shirtless showing his toned abs and in some sweats. He was tall with dark brown hair and with piecing green eyes.
Loren: Hi.
Person: Loren?
Loren: Yeah its me Jake.
Jake : You look...
Loren: Terrible, trashy and drunk.
Jake: I was gonna say Amazing but those could be added on too.
Loren: Look I kinda of got into a fight and then the paparazzi was following me and I walked and walked not really aware of where I was and then I ended up here and I remembered that this where-
Jake: Where you broke my heart into a million pieces.
Loren: Yeah that.. I'm so sorry.
Jake: It's okay. We are friends now.
Loren: Good. So can I come in?
Jake: (open the door wider) Yeah of course. Make yourself at home.
Loren: Thanks.
Jake: So what happened?
I explained everything to him from the accident to today. I looked up at him and he was just stunned and looking down.
Loren: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to dump this all on you and-
Before I could finish I felt his soft lips on mine pressing with passion. He pulled my waist closer to his and started to slowly put his hands on my ass. Before it could go deeper I pulled away.
Loren: Woah.
Hey guys! Wow this chapter was more dramatic than what I originally planned... SO what's Loren's deal? Do you honestly think that Eddie cheated on her? Do you think Mel will get back together with Ian? What is going to happen to Mel and Lo's relationship? What is the deal with this guy Jake? I mean he thinks that Loren can just waltz back into his life and he has the right to kiss her?!
Unbelievable. FYI This chapter was inspired by Scandal which is my favorite TV show on ABC right after Nashville. And the new guy Jake is the very short description of Jake Ballard. I find him fine!
