Kiba and Ino's 25 Days of Christmas

25 Christmas prompts to tell the story of Kiba and Ino's first Christmas living together. Kiba's a dedicated man who will fall 10ft off a ladder just to hang pretty lights on the house and Ino's a sweetheart who loves her boy even though he puts rum in their eggnog. Prepare for a laugh, but get some tissues on hand. This story will put you in the Xmas spirit! T for language.

9. Day 9

DAY 9 - Hats

"Ino, Akamaru and I are going for a walk. Wanna come with?"

The half asleep girl on the sofa watching a cheesy Christmas special of some sitcom looked at her crazy boyfriend.

"You're going out THIS early and in THIS weather?!" she exclaimed.

Kiba shrugged, "It's only 9 degrees out. When the sun rises, it'll warm up a little more."

"You'll still freeze!" Ino yelled, burrowing into the mass of blankets she had on top of her, they all smelled like dog(a smell Ino had come to love.)

Kiba zipped up his jacket and crossed his arms, "I'm wearing a hat. I'm not going to freeze."

Ino didn't believe him.

She kicked the blankets off her got up(sporting worn-out, grey sweatpants) and shuffled over to Kiba.

He was in fact wearing a hat, a nice knit one actually.

"See? Would I lie to you?" Kiba smiled, zipping up his jacket, "I'm going, bab-"

"Wear two!" Ino snatched another hat off a nearby chair.

"What?!"

"Two hats!" Ino repeated, "You'll be warmer!"

"Pfft. Alright, Mommm." Kiba took the second hat and kissed Ino goodbye.

"Wait!" Ino broke from the kiss, "Akamaru needs a hat too!"

"But that's why he has fur!" Kiba exclaimed, laughing "You just don't want me to leave the house, don't you?"

Ino blushed, "Don't be out for too long!"
