DAY 10- Cookies
He came home to a delightful smell.
A sweet, buttery, mouth-watering smell.
"Hey, Ino! Whatcha cookin'?" he called.
"In here Kiba!" she replied, her voice echoing in the warm kitchen, "It's a treat!"
"Sure smells like one!" the brunette excitedly kicked off his boots and cruised inside on his sweat socks and cruised inside on his sweat socks.
"Cookies!" Ino exclaimed, "Don't touch them yet though, they're still scorching hot!"
Kiba's shoulders sank, "Damn, why do baked things gotta take so long to cool?"
"Don't get your jimmies rustled!" Ino playfully tapped Kiba's nose, "Besides, when they're cool, I'm gonna put little Hershey kisses on them!"
"Hershey kisses?"
"Yeah! Those angelic little chocolates!"
"Chocolates!?" Kiba helped even louder.
Ino laughed, "Oh that's right, you hate chocolate with all your freaking heart."
Kiba approached Ino from behind and whispered in her ear, "I only like real kisses. The kind that aint chocolate..."
"Hn." Ino chuckled, "I'll go along with your silly pickup line after we decorate these cookies."
Kiba reached around Ino and took the cookie dough covered spoon out of the bowl in front of her, "But I get dibs on this!" he said quickly.
Ino shook her head and snatched the spoon away from him, "Not so fast, hotshot! I cooked! I get the spoon!"
Kiba swiftly took the spoon back, "No, mine!"
Ino playfully yet frustratedly tackled Kiba against the refrigerator.
"Woah now, sweetheart!" Kiba laughed," You're gettin' serious here!" he pretended to flick cookie dough at her to get her off of him but it didn't work!
"Damn straight, I'm getting serious!" Ino growled kiddingly!
Kiba held the spoon high above Ino's head so she couldn't reach.
"Unfair! It's not my fault I'm short!" Ino yelped, stomping Kiba's bare foot against the cold kitchen floor.
"Yoww! Fine!" Kiba was quite literally laughing in pain, "We'll share it. You get one side, I'll get the other!"
He brought the spoon back down to Earth and held it out to Ino, but he held on tight just in case she was gonna snatch it again.
She giggled sinisterly, put her mouth over the entire spoon and pulled off all the cookie dough.
"Ah, HEY!" Kiba barked.
"I think the cookies are cooled off!" Ino grinned nervously, running off to the counter as fast as she could.
Kiba refrained from tossing the naked spoon to the back of her head.
