"I prefer 'Anarazel'…you've gotten better at sensing which demons are which," Anarazel told Lana as he moved to walk around her, Dean keeping close to her.

Lana nodded slowly. "I've been trying to harness my powers. You've been trying to find my mother and I won't allow it."

"Florence needs to die," Anarazel replied with no feeling in his voice. "She escaped a place she was supposed to reside in forever and then trapped me there when I crossed her."

"Well, when you betray people they tend to get testy," Dean commented, Lana smiling a little bit even though she was ready to attack should Anarazel try to harm Dean in any way.

Sam and Lily were at the ready, but Lana had motioned for them to stay in the car and Lily quite liked that plan. Anarazel seemed to be powerful enough to take them all out, but yet not powerful enough to overpower Lana if Lana focused hard enough. She was after all, the product of a demon and a soul from Purgatory, so if Jesse was anything to judge by, Lana was even more powerful still. Hell, there were still pockets of angels who wanted her dead, but she just fought for them so hard that they had left her alone.

When they had found Jesse, young and afraid, he could do things that made Lily really on edge. Turn people into things, blink from one place to another—the angels were scared of him and the angels were truly powerful creatures. Finding out what Florence was made Lily wonder if that meant that more powerful demons would come too though. If Lana was so damn powerful, then they would start pulling out the bigger guns to obtain her and make her change sides and so what about Anarazel?

"Dean Winchester," Anarazel said with a smile, "you picked well enough I suppose, but with Michael's vessel? Really? He's got the attitude I expect from Florence's offspring, but the lineage? What will that mean for the children?"

Lana laughed a little bit. "You're pushing the wrong buttons."

Before anyone knew what was happening, Lana had popped out only to pop back up right in front of Anarazel, her hand shooting up and wrapping around his throat. She didn't have time for this because she had finally found him and she wasn't about to let him get any farther with this conversation. He was after her mother and had sent a demon to poison her—which was his specialty—and she wanted to know what the plan was. Every demon had a plan, even if it wasn't their very own plan to follow.

"I want you to give me a straight answer," Lana explained to him.

Anarazel struggled, reaching out to poise his claws near her skin. "I want you to let me go or you can kiss your life goodbye."

"Lana!" Dean said harshly, taking a carefully calculated step to her. "Don't do this…"

"If you don't think I can cure your poison, you're an idiot," Lana told him, shaking her head. "Why…are…you…trying…to…kill…my…mother?"

The demon made a face. "She ruined the plan."

Lana nodded and then she tightened her grip when instead of filling the following silence with answers, Anarazel simply fell silent. She was in this right now to get every answer that she wanted and he now knew that she meant business and that if he didn't comply, she would crush his windpipe and kill this host body. He quite liked this dashing body and so he just started to spout off because if she focused hard enough, she could just send him back to Hell, which would be worse—he'd spent so long crawling out.

"You and Sam were the runners for leading the demon armies," Anarazel explained to her. "He dripped blood into Sam's mouth to make him a psychic, sure, but Sam and you both had the potential to be used by Lucifer as a vessel. Sam as the true vessel, you as a back-up. Unfortunately, Florence protected you and she protected Sam and when it came down to it, you let your sex toy here shoot your father."

Lana made a face. "Dean is Michael's true vessel—he deserves more respect than that."

"Regardless," Anarazel cut in, "that was the plan. Then you all became good and even though you played the part, Lana, of breaking the last seal, you haven't played the part of vessel yet. Florence is trying to kill Lucifer and none of us can let her get away with that."

"You've been told wrong," Lana said.

"Lanni, don't!" Dean told her, hurrying to them. "Just fucking don't!"

"I'm the one who is going to kill the devil," Lana explained with a smile.

Anarazel laughed as Dean cursed. "No…no, you won't."

He seemed pretty sure of himself and Lana took a moment to try and think about what it was that she had just done. She'd just alerted the demons basically about her trying to kill Lucifer and that made her and everyone she traveled with a target. On top of that, Anarazel seemed perfectly content with himself and that made her feel like maybe she wouldn't be able to kill the devil. Even with the kind of power she had at her fingertips, it was as if that just wasn't enough to go up against Lucifer.

"Dean has to kill Lucifer," Anarazel explained to her, "and we both know he won't do it."

Lana swallowed and nodded. "There has to be a showdown between Michael and Lucifer…"

"Bingo!" Anarazel said happily. "It's a big Apocalyptic showdown and the big archangels have to be here to get it done."

"I suppose there is still a happy ending," Lana said nodding.

"And what is that?" Anarazel asked her.

"You won't be here to see who wins," Lana replied, and just like that, she started to kill the demon inside of the host without harming the host at all.

Sam and Lily got out of the car as she did it, Dean taking a step back only to move back to his position when he caught the body of the man that was falling. Anarazel wouldn't be coming back, and now they knew a little bit of the power inside of Lana that she was holding back, seeing how she barely had to do anything to make it happen. Any normal person would have run in the opposite direction, but Lily was first to Lana to help her to get the man in the car so they could drop him off at the nearest hospital and Sam was asking them if they should go back to Bobby.

"We deal with the witch first," Dean said shaking his head, reaching out to take Lana's hand. "You have some power in you."

Lana nodded, fear in her eyes. "Are you still going to stay?"

"If anything, I know you can take care of yourself," Dean replied, leaning in to kiss her. "Give me a little credit, Lanni."

"I have faith in you," she admitted, kissing him tenderly. "Hospital and then we get this witch."

Making it across state and then some took a little bit of time, but it was worth it to get to their destination. Sam and Lily were snuggled in the backseat, Lily asleep when they got there, Dean waking up as Lana parked at the motel that they'd be using to come back to in case research had to be done. This was just a common practice and Dean smiled as he looked over at Lana, who was reaching for her purse so she could pull out a credit card and get this place all paid for. She smiled at him when he moved and started to stretch, settling into the driver's seat and wiggling her eyebrows.

"I love driving your car," she admitted, leaning over to kiss him and then opening up the driver's seat door. "Wake those two up and I'm going to get us a room booked."

Dean nodded and then after Lana did that the four of them settled in with their duffels and Lily pulled out her laptop as Sam pulled out his. She got to the webpage that she was looking for and then she smiled, turning it around so that Lana and Dean could see too. Sam was busy researching demons and only half paying attention, Dean taking apart and cleaning a gun as Lana rubbed his shoulders from her perch on her knees right behind him on their claimed bed. Lily thought it was kind of cute, but they were here for a hunt and then they could be cute later in their own home.

"She's having a party tonight," Lily said with a smile. "This girl, Gretchen," she was explaining, "has been posting about the new girl and how she's sure she's really magical and wants to be as popular. I think that Arabeth has come here to make a profit and in turn has this whole town under her spell. Bobby says there's magical signs and since Gretchen called Arabeth out by name…it's our best lead. I know it's not that great."

Lana smiled at her. "First of all, a lead is a lead, and second of all I know she's here."

"Antichrist feelings," Dean teased with a smile on his face.

"Exactly," Lana admitted with a shrug. "So…let's get dressed up and go to a party."

"I haven't been to a college party since…well, college," Sam told them, all of them laughing.

Lily and Sam had both had interesting college experiences, Lana having dropped out early on and Dean having never really gone. Now they were all hunters and while Lily picked out a modest dress and some large, flashy earrings that Lana kept fawning over, Lana went for more of a skirt and halter combo and heels, curling her hair. Dean kept grunting about how much effort Lana was putting into it, but at the same time he knew that this was just a hunt and they had to look the part if they were going to get in with Gretchen.

"She says she's wearing a 'killer green dress' because it's Arabeth's favorite color," Lily commented, laughing when Dean leaned on the doorframe between the bedroom and the bathroom and sighed loudly.

Lana looked at Dean as she put the last bobby pin in her hair and smirked. "Don't be jealous, Dean. It's a good look on you, but it's not warranted—you've seen me naked, so you win."

"Maybe, but at the moment it just doesn't seem enough," Dean said before moving to grab his car keys. "So what do we do about her?"

"We corner her," Sam shrugged, kissing Lily's cheek. "Right now we're just two couples going to a party, but being a witch, she'll sense Lana right off the bat if she hasn't already picked up on her being in town."

Nodding, Lana grabbed a cute jacket and moved around her lip gloss with her lips. "I just need you guys to have my back. I know that we are a team and I will need your help, but I also feel like she led you to me for a reason and I want to know what that reason is."

"Anything goes wrong and we're ganking her," Dean said immediately as they were heading out of the motel. "Where is your engagement ring?"

"Dean, we're going to a college party where we have to fit in," Lana tried, but Dean's icy glare made her grin and pull it out of her jacket pocket, slipping it back onto her finger. "Remind me to rip your clothes off when we're done, okay?"

Note: This is just the beginning of jealous!Dean…next chapter is cute with hunting in it. Feedback is always appreciated!
