AUTHOR'S NOTE:
This chapter is kind of comedic, with a hunt and a cliffhanger, but again I have another chapter partially completed so it should be up tomorrow at some point…probably late evening because I work all day tomorrow, or in the morning before I leave for work if I finish it up tonight.

Lily and Lana immediately took off to go and scope out the areas as Dean went for alcohol and Sam followed close behind him. Even though he enjoyed this kind of thing, Dean was feeling pretty old, being 30 and at a college party, even if it was undercover…people were giving him funny looks and he was a bit old to be here. Still, he was attractive and he caught a couple of women looking at him as he filled up his red plastic cup with whatever spike drink this was.
"No hard liquor?" Dean asked, Sam laughing.
"No, Dean," Sam replied, passing on the alcohol. "This is college, not a bar."
Dean nodded slowly. "This is not how they portray college in the movies."
"College isn't solely based on parties and sex—some of us go to actually get a higher education," Sam responded with a smile.
"Buzz kill," Dean said as he drank the alcohol. "Wow, not even Lily would get drunk drinking this. This is weak."
"You say that now, but the more you drink the faster you get drunk I guarantee it," a young man said with a grin. "I would know, I mixed it together."
Dean nodded slowly at him and gave him his best forced smile, Sam introducing themselves as Dean scanned the room for Lana and Lily. His eyes rested on them, seeing Lily and Lana chatting up a group of girls and laughing, but he also saw a fairly attractive man staring at Lana…or Lily…no, it was Lana. He was only positive of that when the man got up seeing an opening and put himself in between Lily and Lana rather easily. Then all of his attention turned to Lana and she gave him that smile that made men weak in the knees, fluffing her hair with her left hand, the man catching the glimpse of her ring.
Seeing that she hadn't just taken it off and put it back in her jacket pocket because this was business, Dean felt his heart thump a little harder against his chest and he flushed a little. It made him really happy to see that she was now talking about the ring that had gotten focus on it, and she even turned to look around, making eye contact with Dean and smiling, pointing him out to the guy hitting on her. Both of them waved at him, Dean giving a two finger salute playfully and then turning back to Sam. Sam was actually working, talking to this college student because he seemed to think that there was a group of pagans on campus.
"That's stupid though, right?" The guy asked Sam. "That's like those things that people tell you so you will fuck off and think it was your idea, yeah?"
Sam chuckled and shrugged. "I dunno, man…the rumor around here is that people have been having really good luck."
"Ugh, I bet you have a girlfriend that runs around with Arabeth," the guy said shaking his head. "My girlfriend worships the ground she walks upon and I think it's disgusting. She's taking advantage of everyone just to get a bid into the main Sorority."
"Arabeth?" Dean found himself asking.
The guy nodded as he drank down a bunch of his alcohol concoction. "Yeah…if you ask me, she's just a royal bitch."
Sam nodded and then they were interrupted by Lily coming over, taking Sam by the hand and then turning to smile at the guy. He smiled back, drinking some more, Dean asking him if he wanted to slow down at all and he didn't seem to want to—apparently he wanted to be a little bit drunk before his girlfriend showed up. Dean and Sam exchanged looks, but then words came out of Lily's mouth that brought them both back to the task at hand.
"Arabeth just got here," Lily explained to them.
The guy sighed loudly. "Ugh, I'm not dunk enough yet…"
"You should chug faster," Dean suggested patting him on the back and then looking around for Lana. "Where did Lana go?"
"She went off with that Jake, guy," Lily said shrugging, smirking when Dean whirled on her. "What? He's a demon…according to Lana, Fecor was a red herring."
Dean had gotten quite a bit of sleep and yet he was awoken by another nightmare. He had thought that he had put all of those behind him, but here was one and it wasn't quite the normal one about Hell either. Deep down he knew that he was quite worried about what was happening with Lana and how Florence was from Purgatory, but he wasn't worried because of Lana…he was worried because of the demons that might come after them now. That and there were still things that he hadn't even told Lana to begin with.
"You look sexy driving my car," Dean told Lana with a smile.
She glanced at him from the driver's seat and smiled. "Well thank you—I feel sexy driving your car even though this isn't the first time."
"The other time I was just too wounded to drive," Dean pointed out, sitting up and taking a deep breath. "So…killing Fecor?"
"It was too easy," Lana responded, shaking her head. "Not the killing him part, but the fact that there wasn't really a struggle or a threat. You know what that means, right?"
"It means that they were luring you in…" Dean said slowly, nodding again. "Great. This is only just beginning, isn't it?"
Lana nodded at him. "Looks like it, which doesn't make me feel very good about this witch."
"Me neither," Dean admitted, yawning.
Smiling, Lana told him to go back to sleep, reaching over to rest one of her hands on his thigh, Dean smiling and grasping her hand gently. Once he fell asleep, Lana slowly took her hand back and rested them on the wheel, her face getting a little more serious. There was so much she hadn't told them about these last six months and she knew that Dean was keeping something too. Unfortunately, the two of them were going to have to face the music sooner or later.
"The question we have to ask now is: which demon is really after her and why?" Dean asked as he ran his hand down his face.
Lily sighed and nodded. "Well, for now she has him where she wants him, so give her a little space and then you can go charging in."
"Am I that transparent?" Dean asked with a small laugh.
"You are that transparent," Sam and Lily said together.

Lana had known that Arabeth was close—she certainly wouldn't miss her own party—but first she had to take care of this 'Jake' fellow. He had been watching her and Lily since the four hunters had arrived on scene to the party, and it made Lana uneasy but at the same time he was just a low level demon and she could handle that. She had handled Anarazel with no problems and he was definitely up higher on the food chain, which apparently had Crowley pissed off at her and she was alright with that.
"I'm surprised you're not trying to kill me," Jake admitted as he and Lana took a stroll around the large house.
Shrugging, Lana looked at him. "Last demon that could help me out got ganked by the over protective fiancé and I won't let that happen again. I need your information on Crowley and I need it now."
"You sure you want to keep this secret?" Jake asked her with a smile. "Word around the block is that you and lover boy only just got back together."
"I'll tell Dean when I understand this better," Lana replied with a shrug. "So…Crowley has to replace Fecor?"
"Anarazel and yes," Jake replied nodding. "You were supposed to let Lucifer in and stop this."
"I'm not letting the devil in," Lana responded shaking her head. "I can't do that. If this fight breaks out, I am gunning for convincing Dean to let in Michael and take Lucifer down while he's weak."
Jake swallowed, looking scared. "Who said Lucifer was weak?"
"The angels know he's weak in his vessel—it's not the skin he should be wearing," Lana replied with a big grin.
She actually really liked the parts in the conversation where she got to freak out the demons and while they didn't seem to like it, that didn't bother her even a little bit. Right now she was trying so desperately to understand what the bigger plan was, but no one would tell her…all she knew was that it was the Apocalypse and it had something to do with peace for everyone if Heaven won. The big issue here, though, was that Lana didn't want there to be a big war between Heaven and Hell. What Lana wanted was for mankind to still get to do all of this and more with their free will intact.
The other thing she was still coping with, was the fact that she was a vessel. She could be inhabited by demons and angels for long periods of time and she didn't know which side of the family she got that from. Her father was a demon and so he had possessed her mother to have her, but her mother was from Purgatory…so was her mother a vessel once and then banished? Did her mother's parents have her in Purgatory? What kind of being was Florence in the first place? Lana didn't know and yet she wanted to find out because if she and Dean were really going to have a baby someday, she needed to know what to prepare for.
"I won't be killed by you," Jake said suddenly, feeling like she would betray him.
As he tried to flee his host, however, Lana held out her hand and focused rather hard, forcing the demon back into the body as blood trickled out of her nose. He was frozen there, unable to move, and as Lana neared him he felt like his very short demon life was flashing before his eyes. Still, he was surprised when she started talking to him again, obviously having dragged him out here for a reason. She didn't trust him and she would have rather just killed him, but she needed him to deliver a message for her and he wasn't about to let her down.
"Tell Crowley that if he wants me, he has to come to me himself," Lana said smiling and then she released her control, the demon exiting Jake's body as Dean came running over to them.
Lana wiped some blood away from her nose and then wobbled a little bit, feeling weak from forcing the demon to stay. Dean caught her in his arms, holding her close and checking on her, seeing that she was trying to compose herself. He actually wasn't entirely sure what had just happened, but he had seen the demon escape and now Lana was sporting a bloody nose and that meant using her powers—Sam had been the same way when exhausting himself on the demon blood, sending demons back to Hell.
What was she thinking?
Dean understood that she had these natural abilities and that his kids would have similar tricks, but this was all too much for him. Lana had been acting like it was her own personal responsibility for being tricked by Lilith to summon Lucifer, breaking the last seal, and now she was on a vendetta. She just wanted to take them all on by herself and she couldn't do that because powers or no powers, she wasn't strong enough to take them all on by herself. Dean wanted her to rely on him, Sam and Lily as well and even though she was as stubborn as they came, he was hoping that he could make her see the light.
"So what's the big secret?" Dean asked her.
Lana smiled a little and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Follow me and I will tell you…"
Lily and Sam were sitting on a couch talking about some things as Lana led Dean off, Lily's eyes on Arabeth the entire time. She was blonde with green eyes, wearing a killer teal dress as her followers seemed to all have the same idea, wearing green. It made sense that such a beautiful young woman would have a favorite color that complimented her eyes, and Lily was trying to figure out what she was doing here. Obviously, Arabeth was a sell your soul to the demon kind of witch with a twist: powers she was born into.
All this time they had thought that Lana was one of those witches too and yet that only made sense now if that was in her lineage pre Florence in Purgatory. Her powers didn't need spells or blood sacrifices unless she was calling on power from her ancient bloodline in large quantities and so Lily was thinking up different ways to kill her. In fact Sam was too, but that was before he caught Lily so deep in thought trying to think up ways to lure Arabeth out of the party. She didn't want her near any of the girls just in case anything went terribly wrong.
"Wow, you're attractive," Sam said aloud, chuckling when Lily blushed. "What do you say we find a room and really sell this college party façade?"
Lily laughed loudly. "Well, if you don't sound like you've taken advice from your brother."
"I just like teasing you," Sam responded, kissing her gently. "Tonight can we have a date, please? We've been so busy and I just want to spend time with you."
"I would love that," Lily admitted with a smile. "After this Arabeth thing, you and I should borrow the Impala and sneak off. Lana can pop her and Dean back to the motel."
"Good thinking," Sam said, giving her a peck on the nose. "I love you, you know?"
Lily beamed at him. "I love you too, Sam."
They smiled at each other and shared one last kiss before they went back to business at hand, Arabeth looking at Lily and smiling. When she and Lily made eye contact, Sam stiffened, Arabeth motioning toward the door and then excusing herself from the girls crowding around them. Once she had gone outside, Lily followed her, pausing when she saw Arabeth leaning on the ledge of the balcony. Sam had followed too, ready to attack if he needed to because he would do anything to keep Lily safe.
"You have more power than your average witch…" Lily began slowly.
Arabeth shrugged. "That I do, but that's what happens when you—"
"—make demon deals to increase your power output," Sam finished for her.
"Well aren't you the smart one?" Arabeth asked, lifting up her hand and giving a flick of her wrist to pin him to the side of the house, Lily suddenly alert. "I sent you to Lana and you came to ruin my fun? I own this town."
Lily moved a step toward her. "We're here because of demon business."
"You're here to hunt me," Arabeth scoffed, moving her other hand to cut off Sam's air supply, Lily getting flustered. "That's what hunters do, Lily."
"JUST STOP HURTING HIM!" Lily found herself exclaiming.
She had never thought of herself as the most seasoned hunter, but she was even worse at it when Sam was in danger. Lily was emotional even though she was good at what she did and right now she saw Sam in danger until suddenly Arabeth was choking herself, releasing her hold on Sam, Lily hurrying to him to check him over. She had to make sure that he was alright and Lana had shown up even though her nose was bleeding again.
"Touch Sam and I won't let you go," Lana replied, making a face. "Tell me how to get in touch with Crowley."
Sam looked up suddenly. "Crowley?"
"He sent Fecor thinking it would throw us off," Lana told him, her eyes on Arabeth. "TELL ME HOW TO CONTACT HIM!"
"YOU DON'T!" Arabeth said quickly holding her neck and coughing as Lana let her go. "He contacts you."
"I want to summon him," Lana explained, stepping up to Arabeth, who took a step back because Lana could kill her, even weakened. "You are going to tell me how…and I'll let you have this town."
"LANA!" Sam exclaimed.
Dean shook his head. "No…a deal is a deal. Get us Crowley and you can have this town."
"DEAN!" Lily found herself yelling.
Nodding, Arabeth told them to stick around and wait until after the party, going inside knowing that the hunters were watching her every move. Dean turned to Sam and Lily and ran his hand down his face, Lana sitting because she was feeling like she was just going to fall over. This was too much too fast and she was beginning to wonder if there was something else at work here. Maybe she was running herself too thin and maybe…maybe she had been poisoned by Anarazel and she didn't know it and it was attacking her.
"Crowley is who we need," Dean explained to Lily and Sam, his hands on his hips. "We won't let her continue to deceive these people, she just needs to think we're going to help. We're hunters, okay? We lie."
He threw a look at Lana when he said that and she smiled a little and nodded.
Lana smiled as she pushed Dean up against the nearest tree, her lips colliding into his because for some reason she felt like he needed to be relaxed for this. She had so much to say and yet Dean's fingers wormed into her hair and he pulled her closer, letting his hands travel down to pull her hips against his, moaning into her mouth. He was more than alright just making out and groping, but when Lana pulled back he knew she was going to ruin the potential sex against a tree moment.
"I haven't been completely honest and I need to be," Lana said suddenly.
Dean nodded and went back to stroking her hair. "Alright…me neither."
"These six months apart, me figuring out my powers," Lana began, wanting to go first here, "I've learned a lot that I didn't really want to know. Crowley wants me and I don't know why but I think it has something to do with Lucifer so what am I supposed to do? I mean, come on, Dean. I'm an antichrist, right? Not to mention I killed Fecor and now he's pissed off and I can't keep putting you, Lily and Sam in danger."
"Oh, oh no, no," Dean said quickly shaking his head and holding her hips so she had to stay right where she was. "You can't go anywhere. I understand that things are tough right now, but you aren't leaving Sam, Lily and I. We are going to help you with this and we are going to see you through."
Lana nodded slowly and wrapped her arms around him. "Alright, fine. As long as you let me take point on this."
"Getting commanding?" Dean teased, kissing her and biting her bottom lip. "I love it when you're commanding."
"That's because you're a kinky bastard," Lana replied, but she kissed him again and then she pulled back. "Sammy…."
Lana understood that Dean was throwing that at her because she had kept this from him and Crowley was a big deal, but he understood. They were still working on getting better because of the six month time apart where they were bitter and without each other. Dean got to be with Lily and Sam and Lana had ended up being with her family, but it was never the same. Then she tried to be ready to be who she was and ended up in deeper than she had wanted to be and tried to get out only to be dragged back in, but with Dean.
It was alright as long as she was with Dean.
In fact that had always been true, but she really needed to know that by being herself, Dean would stay this time. She couldn't begin to explain how she felt about him and about wanting a future with him, but she knew that she had to try too, so she was trying, but she was feeling pretty damn hard right now. Lana was fighting for what she wanted and that also meant that she had to be honest with everyone.
"Lana?" Sam asked her, Dean and Lily looking at her, "you don't look so good…"
Lana nodded and held her head. "I don't feel so…good…"
Just like that, she fainted, Dean catching her in his arms before she hit the ground.
Note: Well damn, right? Next chapter is going to be really focused on Lana and Dean, but it will also have some more Arabeth in it. Not to mention a character I already love writing and some Lily and Sam sexy times because I wanna give them their date night as THEY ARE TOO CUTE AND I LOVE THEM! Feedback is always appreciated!
