Chapter 7: Final Battle

Last Time…

Chono jumped back a fired a projectile at Brook with his sword. "Aubade Coup Droit!" Brook jabbed his sword at the projectile, disabling it and pushed Chrono back a few feet. As Chono rebound and prepare to attack, Brook was gone. Brook was seen behind Chono, putting his sword back into his cane.

"Quinto Tias: Fantasia!" Brook sheathed his sword and closed with a metallic cling. After the sword was completely sheathed, a gash opened on Chono's chest and Chono collapsed.

"Special Attack!" Usopp shouted as he came out and prepares to fire from his black Kabuto. "Green Star: Devil!" He fired a pop green from his weapon and captured Nobukazu in a Venus flytrap.

"This won't hold me for long, pirate!" Nobukazu shouted as he fired more explosive bullets inside the plant and destroyed. "Is that all you got?"

"Actually, I was hoping you do that." Usopp said, preparing to fire again.

"What?!"

"Fire Bird Star!" Usopp fired a fireball in the shape of a phoenix and hit Nobukazu, engulfing him the flames.

"You're wide open." Hirai said as he was about to kick Chopper in the stomach.

"Guard Point!" Chopper took the full force of that kick and absorbed the damage as he bounced. Chopper changed back to the chibi form as Hirai charged towards him.

"Horn Point!" Chopper transformed again and dug into the ground. Hirai looked around for the pirate for where he could pop up from. "Horn Cannon: Elf!" Chopper popped up from underneath Hirai and rammed him in the stomach, defeating him.

Now…

Inside of Taiji's palace, the monster trio ran down the halls as fast as they could, looking for their past selves. Then Luffy sensed someone coming towards them with his haki and stopped. Zoro and Sanji stopped as well noticing the same the thing as Luffy. Then a large gust of wind

"Zoro!" Luffy shouted.

"You two go on ahead." Zoro said, drawing his two other swords. "I'll take care of her."

"Ok, take her down." Luffy said as he started to run again.

"You leave a single on her body, you're dead!" Sanji threatened as he followed Luffy.

"You're not going anywhere!" Aja shouted as she created a spear out of air. "Wind Spear!" She tossed the wind spear at the retreating duo. Zoro stepped in and blocked the attack with his swords, allowing Luffy and Sanji to escape.

"I see." Zoro said to Aja. "You ate a devil fruit."

"That's correct." Aja said as she surrounds herself and Zoro in a cyclone. "I ate the Wind-Wind fruit. I can make the wind itself my own personal weapon." Then Aja made a sword out of the wind. "You can't escape."

Zoro smirked and said, "Is that so?"

Luffy and Sanji continued to run down the halls until they've reached a folk in the road. They looked down each way

"Sanji, find the crew and get them out of here." Luffy ordered. "I'm going to find Taiji."

Sanji looked at his captain with a serious look and said, "No problem. Give him hell, Luffy."

"Right." Luffy said as the two split up and ran down different corridors.

Sanji went down his corridor and stopped when he saw down in front of him. "This must be where our past selves are being held." As Sanji was about to open the door

"Well, well, I never thought that you and that ragtag bunch of misfits would make it this far." A voice said in the shadows.

"Who are you?!" Sanji said fiercely.

Luffy continues to run down his corridor, ready for his final encounter with Taiji. He stopped when he saw a long staircase

"Why bother when I can come to you?" Taiji said, catching the Straw Hat Boy's attention. Luffy looked up the staircase and saw Taiji walking down the long staircase. "I've been expecting you. I'm glad you were able to show up and watch as you and your crew gets wiped from existence. As you already saw, your timeline is disappearing and will no longer exist very soon. Your journey ends tonight." Taiji then removed his jacket when he got within a few feet from Luffy. "Since we're on the subject, how about I accelerate the little you have left by killing you right here!" A blink of an eye, Taiji grabbed by the head and threw him into a wall.

Back to Zoro…

Zoro and Aja continued to cross blades in Aja's cyclone with either getting an advantage. Aja changed her air sword into a bow and arrow.

"I get it." Zoro said, sheathing two of his swords and leaving Wado in his hand. "You're a logia type, are you?"

"Good guess." Aja said, jumping back a few feet. "But that won't your chances of defeating me."

"Is that so?" Zoro said with smirk.

"Wind Volley!" Aja shot a volley of arrows from her wind bow at Zoro.

"Single Sword Style: 360 Caliber Phoenix!" Zoro fired a powerful project at Aja. Aja's eyes widen and she quickly dodged the attack before it could hit her.

"Damn!" Aja cursed as she landed on her feet and skidded on the floor. Aja changed her bow into a bazooka and started to load it with the cyclone when the battle began. "Time to end this! You can't escape this attack! Your body parts would scattered across the palace by time I'm though."

"Hmph." Zoro said as he prepares to attack. "Single Sword Style…"

"Cyclone Cannon!" Aja fired a large widespread burst of wind at the swordsman, destroying the area behind him. But Zoro charged through the attack and towards Aja then went passed her.

"…Lion Strike!" Then a cut appeared on Aja's shoulder and blood was gushing out. Aja grabbed her bloody shoulder and collapsed.

Back to Sanji…

Sanji jumped back a few feet avoiding another one of Atsushi's attacks. Sanji charged towards Atsushi and tried to kick in the face but Atsushi dodged.

"White Bird!" Atsushi fired a white projectile from his blade at Sanji, who quickly moved out of the way.

"Epaule!" Sanji fired a kick at Atsushi and Atsushi dodged it. "Collier!" Sanji fired another kick and Atsuhi dodged it.

"White Lotus!" Atsushi fired a volley of projectiles at Sanji.

"Sky Walk!" Sanji walked in the air and twirled around lighting both of his legs on fire. "Diable Jambe…"

"Bastard!" Atsushi said, as he fires another projectile at Sanji. "Disappear! White Flash!"

"…Poele a Frire… Spectre!" Sanji fired a barrage flaming kicks and at the projectile, causing it to disappear.

"Damn it!" Atsushi cursed as Sanji appeared in front of him.

"Bien Cuit: Grill Shot!" Sanji kicked Atsushi in the gut with one of his flaming legs, engulfing him in flames and send through the door.

Inside the room where the younger Straw Hats, the crew saw the door glows bright and was blown off the hedges towards them.

"Look out!" Young Usopp shouted as the crew moved out of the way as the door tore through their cell.

"What was that?!" Young Nami asked surprised. The smoke cleared and it revealed an unconscious, charred up Atsushi.

"It's that gatekeeper from before." Young Robin said.

"Yeah but he's nearly burned to crisp." Young Franky said looking at Atsushi. Then the crew looked at the opening and a figure at the doorway. It was the older Sanji.

"Hey, this is your get-out-of-jail free card." The older Sanji said.

Back to Luffy…

Luffy skidded back a few feet was breathing heavily, unable to land a blow on Taiji.

"What's the matter?" Taiji taunted as he charged toward Luffy. "Is that all got?" Taiji swung his sword at Luffy, who dodged it.

"Not even close!" Luffy stretched his arm back as it turned black. "Armament Hardening: Gum-Gum Pistol!" Luffy launched a fist at Taiji.

"Time Flash!" Taiji used his devil fruit power to stop Luffy in his tracks. "You can't win Straw Hat!" Taiji kicked Luffy in the gut. He snapped his fingers and Luffy was pushed into a wall. The younger Luffy who was separated from his group ran into the wall and saw his older self on the ground, trying to get up.

"Well, well, look how flew the coop." Taiji said, noticing the younger Luffy. He turned towards the younger Luffy. "I don't know how you managed to escape but it doesn't matter. Now that I got both Luffy of the past and future, you both will die together."

"Oh yeah, bring it on!" The younger Luffy challenged Taiji.

"With pleasure." Taiji sped up to the younger Luffy and the scene went black.

Meanwhile, the older Sanji was the younger Straw Hat to their ship, which is docked on the other side of the palace. As they got there, they saw the older Zoro near the younger Straw Hats' Sunny.

"Moss head, what are you doing here?" The older Sanji shouted.

"I was looking for the exit to this damn place!" The older Zoro shouted back.

"You're kidding! Your sense of direction is than I thought! All you have to do was to turn around!"

Zoro ignored him and looked at the younger Straw Hats. When he did that, he noticed that someone's missing. "Hey, what happened to the other Luffy?"

"He went to fight Taiji with our Luffy." The older Sanji said. The older Zoro sighed, figuring that would happen.

"Well, Luffy is still Luffy. No matter what timeline we're in." The older Zoro turned to the younger Straw Hats. "Listen, get abroad your ship and get out of the building. Don't worry about Luffy. He'll win."

"Wait, what about you guys?" The younger Nami asked.

"We had got our own crew we have to meet up with." The older Sanji said, then switched into his lover-boy mode. "Don't worry Nami, Robin, I'll be ok!"

"Let's go, you pathetic love-cook!" The older Zoro shouted as he started to run.

"What was that, bastard?!" Sanji shouted as he follows Zoro. "Hey, I'm talking to you!"

Back to the two Luffys…

The two Luffys panted heavily still with no progress against Taiji.

"Damn it!" the younger Luffy cursed, breathing heavily. "Why can't we touch him?"

"Now do you two see it?" Taiji asked. "Either one of you stand a chance of defeating me. Now die" Taiji charged towards the younger Luffy, ready to strike him but the older Luffy stepped in front of his younger self took the hit himself but he stood his ground.

"It doesn't matter." The older Luffy said. "We can still beat you. I'll make my crew get back home. No matter what!" Then Luffy hit Taiji in the face, making Taiji skidded back a few feet.

"Why you?!" Taiji disappeared from the two Luffys' sight.

"Gear Second!" The older Luffy pumped his blood as his skin turned pink and steam come out of his body. The older Luffy started to use his haki to follow Taiji's movement with his eyes. "Gum-Gum…Jet Pistol!" Luffy fired a jet speed punch at Taiji, pushing him back a few feet. The younger Luffy looked at his older self in amusement.

"So you've managed to follow me." Taiji said, wiping the blood from his lip and started to move in a high speed again.

"Like I said." The older Luffy said as he prepares he prepares to strike again. "No matter what, we will win!" Armament Harding..." The black armor appeared on the older Luffy's arm. "Gum-Gum..." Luffy reeled his arm and the steam from the arm causing it to be lit on fire. "...Red Hawk!" He fired his flaming fist at Taiji, enveloping him in an explosion. The younger Luffy looked at his older self with stars in his eyes as Taiji fell to the ground.

"That's so awesome!" The young Luffy shouted and the older Luffy snickered.

"Damn it!" Taiji cursed under his breath, getting back up. "I've played around with you two for too long. Now we end this."

"Yeah!" The older Luffy said, then looked to his younger self. "Ready?" The younger Luffy nodded and the two turned towards Taiji.

"Gear Third!" The two Luffys bite on their thumbs enlarging the size of their hands. "Gum-Gum…"

"I'm not letting my plans burst into flames by some pirates!" Taiji shouted as he lifted his hands at the oncoming fist. "Time Flash!"

"…Twin Giant Pistol!" The Luffys launched their giant fist at Taiji who tried to stop them with his devil fruit ability but to no avail.

'No, this is not it ends.' Taiji thought as the giant fists coming closure to him.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" The giant fist connected to Taiji slamming him on the floor and putting straight through it. The attack sent Taiji through several floors of the palace.

The younger Luffy started to let out some of his air due his gear third wearing and the after effect started to kick in. That when the building started to collapse.

The younger Straw Hats were sailing towards the exit until Nami felt from dust from the ceiling landed on her. Then everything started to shake.

"Franky, we need to out of here now!" Nami shouted. "The building is about to fall apart!"

"IT'S WHAT?!" Usopp, Chopper, and Brook shouted in fear.

"I'm on it!" Franky said. "Channel 0 Activate!" Two paddle wheels popped out of both sides of the ship and the Sunny speed started to increase.

On the other side of the palace, the older Straw Hats were on their Sunny waiting for Zoro, Sanji, and Luffy to return. Inside of the palace, the older Sanji and Zoro running trying to get out of the palace before it collapses. On the younger Straw Hats' side, the Thousand Sunny escaped from the building and the crew watched as the building was destroyed.

"Luffy!" The younger Nami shouted worried about Luffy.

On the older Straw Hats' side…

"Luffy!" Nami shouted. Zoro and Sanji ran to the outside and saw the palace collapse with their captain inside. Then some of the rumble started to move and the two Luffys popped out of the debris.

"They made it!" The older Chopper shouted happily. Then the older Straw hats and their ship started to glow.

"What happening?" The older Usopp asked scared as the older straw hats started to disappear.

"I think the effect of the Time-Time Fruit is wearing off." the older Robin said.

"Wait, I don't get it." The older Luffy said confused.

"That's means we're heading back to our time." The older Nami said.

"We're leaving?"

"Looks like it." The older Sanji said. "Everything's about to go back to normal."

"Alright, let's go guys." The older Luffy said as he, Zoro, and Sanji went to their Thousand Sunny and got on it.

"Wait a minute!" The younger Luffy shouted as he ran the older Straw Hats' Sunny. "So do really get that strong in two years?"

"Yep, you sure do." The older Luffy said smiling as he, his crew, and his Sunny completely disappears. The younger Luffy looked at the sky smiling thinking that he will that strong in the future.

"Hey guys!" The younger Luffy shouted trying to get his crew's attention. "Wait for me!"

"Well get on or we leave without you!" Nami shouted.

"Wait! Don't leave without your captain!" Luffy stretched his arms towards the Sunny. "Gum-Gum…Rocket!" Luffy launched himself towards the ship.

Meanwhile in the New World, 2 years later…

"Are we back?" Usopp asked.

"I don't know." Franky said.

Then a newspaper fell on the grassy deck of the Sunny. Nami went to pick it up. She checked the date and saw that it's the correct year. "Yeah, we're back in the New World!" Nami shouted happily.

"Really?" Chopper said and Nami nodded.

"Thank goodness." Brook said. "I thought I was going to die before my time. Although…"

"Yeah, we get it." Zoro said, interrupting Brook.

"Hey Nami, is the log set?!" Luffy asked and Nami nodded in reply.

"Alright guys, let's get ready for a new adventure!" Luffy shouted.

"Aye!" The Straw Hats replied in joy.

"But first, let's eat."

There's a song I chose for this story and I'll post in the post chapter. But in any event, that's the end of the story. If there is a "One Piece" movie dealing time travel, it'll be better than this story. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed it. Good Bye.
