A few days later, after taking care of a few things in California, Dipper returned to Gravity Falls. It was a quiet drive up north on Interstate 5, he stopped in Redding for fuel and a mandatory stop at In-N-Out before continuing. While filling up his black Police Interceptor he was still wrestling in his mind about what Mabel had suggested to him a few days earlier.

"Crap, I really do love Pacifica. She is the only girl I want to be with. I want to be with her forever. I mean I have been with her technically since I was 12 years old. I don't think she will freak out too much if for some reason she doesn't like the gesture or something."

"Click"

The gas pump clicked off right at 16 gallons, distracting Dipper from his thought. He removed the nozzle from his car and placed it back on the pump, pressed "No" for the receipt and got in his car. He pulled out his phone, noticed that it was 12:30 pm, and typed out a text message to Pacifica.

"I am in Redding, about to hit the road. I should be back at around 6:30 or 7. Want to get dinner with me?"

Dipper then realized that he had garbage from his In-N-Out meal in his car. He placed his phone on the dash and got back out of the car and walked to the garbage can to throw away his leftovers. When he got back in to the car his phone vibrated. He unlocked his phone and looked at the screen.

"Yes, I would love to. I missed you so much. Hurry home! XOXOXO"

Dipper smiled and responded with "XOXOXO"

Still smiling, he started up his car and left the gas station. But, before he got back on to the freeway he had to make a quick stop at the mall.

(Meanwhile in Oregon)

"Who was that?" Mabel asked her blonde friend

"That was your brother, he is in Redding getting lunch and gas. He will be up here in a few hours. We are getting a late dinner tonight." Pacifica responded while sitting in the gift shop with Mabel.

"Oooh that sounds fun? Are you going to pop the question?" Mabel responded slyly

"Hell no! I don't want to scare him off. I don't want to make him feel like I am too clingy."

"Jesus Pacifica, don't worry about it. You two love each other, if anything I bet you he is thinking about doing the same thi-" Mabel then yelped at herself for revealing too much information.

Pacifica glared at Mabel, "What do you know! Tell me!"

"I know absolutely nothing!"

"Don't play dumb with me Pines! You know something! What does Dipper have planned!"

Mabel is now panicking and now afraid of her friend strangling her.

"Pacifica, I know nothing about what Dipper's plans are when it regards you. You know well enough that he tells me nothing. I know that he deeply loves you but that is all I know." Mabel squeaked out, while being afraid of what a very stressed out Pacifica.

Pacifica then calmed down, "Okay Mabel I believe you, sorry for freaking out on you." And then hugged her friend.

"No problem Pacifica! What do you want to do today? It is pretty nice outside, do you want to go up on the roof and lay in the sun?"

"I will have to take a rain check Mabel, I need to go run into town and get a nice dress for dinner tonight with your brother. I will be back in a bit."

"Okay Pacifica! Wait where are you guys going to go?" Mabel asked

"I have acouple ideas planned but I got to seriously go. See you later Mabel!"

"Bye Pacifica! Have fun tonight."

Pacifica then started her convertible and sped towards the mall to grab the things she needed for the dinner date tonight.
