A/N I am very sorry for not posting sooner. I am afraid I got a bit stuck and backed myself in a corner. It was very upsetting for me, as I felt like I was letting people down not posting sooner which was the pressure spiral started. I would sit down to write only for my head to fill with thoughts that it's been too long and what would the point be? After a very long pick me up from my partner and a bottle of wine with a note pad he helped me brainstorm and get myself out this hole that I got stuck in. So I hope you enjoy this next chapter, I can't promise that the next chapter will be on here soon as it's taken me so very long for this chapter to appear. Paul POV:

I left Jake to mend the bridge between him and his best friend I was tempted to stick around and listen into the conversation but I thought better not, they need to sort this out themselves and if Bella doesn't freak out then it shouldn't be a problem when I need to talk to her.

I shifted back to my wolf and headed back to La Push where I was due to start my patrol with Jared.

"Hey Bud, what's been happening? Not much all quiet here on the western front, not much to report, how did it go with Bella? I spoke to her and my whole world shifted, I mean I felt this pull to her before but in the bookstore she looked at me man, I mean really looked at me for the first time" my mind went over the encounter that we shared in the bookstore."Whoa dude, you imprinted, I mean I thought you did already seeing as you were following her around like the sick dog that you are" I growled angrily at him "Hey come on now, you have to know that it was bound to happen at some time. Yea but I don't know her. Then you get to know her, why are you so stand offish about this? You have seen Sam with Emily and me with Kim.

"Yea but Kim and Emily are from reservations so they have some knowledge of tribal stuff. Come on Paul don't use that as an excuse you know that's not it and you know it, if you're not going to say it then I will, you're worried that you are gonna end up like your dad or she will leave you like ya mum did. They have nothing on you and you know it, and besides you are forgetting that she used to hang out with Jacob all the time, who knows what they talked about, stop fighting this"

"forget I said anything, I am going to head back to forks I am not sure why but I am feeling anxious" "That's the imprint man, you are feeling her emotions that's normal just wait till you seal the bond, it's going to get a whole lot more intense than that" All of a sudden I was flooded with images of Jarred and Kim in the bedroom, Growling at Jared, "For fuck sake Jared can't you control your thoughts" "Oh come on dude, you need to get laid, your all tense" Growling, I headed back to Forks on the double.

I got to back of Bella's place I kept hidden in amongst the trees that are located there and stayed quiet so I could listen to what Jacob was saying. I was just bout to reveal to the town of forks when I heard Bella shriek "Jake what the hell do you think you're doing?" my thoughts exactly when I saw Jake starting to take off all his clothes. I let out a growl to let him know that I was there watching. I was there smiling to myself almost laughing at how cute Bella is with her hands covered over her eyes. Cute? I don't do cute. I can't believe this... I am starting to turn into a marshmallow. I continued to watch just what the hell did Black think he was doing?

Then he shifted. "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE PLAYING AT?!" I yelled. "Calm down man, I will show why" Jacob then went over what he just told Bella. This girl seriously is a danger magnet, wanting Jake to prove that he is a wolf. "Did you even try to explain that it might be dangerous for her? "Look… see for yourself, after everything that happened, me leaving her in dark completely ignoring her and basically turning my back on her she was willing to accept what is seriously not believable on the basis that I prove to her that is in fact really real." Jacob then poured over the whole conversation. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. The complete conversation just watching her change her stance and her behavior you could tell that she missed her best friend. "You are aware that she still has her hands over her eyes." "Better let her know that it's safe huh?" "She still is my imprint just be aware of that" My wolf seriously wanting to get her out of harm's way, but I know that this is between her and Jacob for now, and then one day she might do the same with me. I watched as Bella slowly lets her hands down and takes in Jake in wolf form. We both had a laugh when she asked if Jake was in there. "Yea it's me, in da fur" Jake replied. I watched as Jake nudged her with his nose and she fell on to her backside. "Watch it! She's only human." I growled out. "Dude relax, it's Bella we are talking about she trips over air." I back off and watch Bella interact with Jake and I couldn't help laugh when Bella calling him Balto, I am seriously taking notes "Dude you share this with anyone else you're dead" Jake thinking. I am watching Bella interact with Jake, she is patting him like a dog and so very tentative and caring I wonder if she would be so willing to accept this about me. Then I listen to Bella telling Jake all about me, "Guess you're not the only one feeling the pull hey Paul." Yea, well fyi my wolf is seriously chomping at the bit for Bella to be that comfortable with me and not you. Can you hear that? I think that is Charlie's patrol car coming you are going to shift back" We both hear what Bella is saying about shifting back to human to avoid getting a bullet in Jake's backside. Watching Bella move back into the house, I watch her pause and look back towards where Jake has gone to shift back, Jake is in the process of pulling up his shorts when I see this look on her face that looks like she is up to something, I then here "Come on Jakey, whose a good boy, do you want some din dins?" Oh that is too good, Jakey going to go around in the pack. I have to admit it she is a wild one and gives as good she gets. I know that Sam and Jared were trying to tell me that imprinting is about complimenting our wolf, to bring out the very best in all its abilities that are unique to our wolf. Bella has a fire in her soul that knows i too bad she doesn't know that I am here as well, but until she knows I am a wolf too I will never be too far away from her, always watching and protecting just in case. I can't let anything happen to her, she is my whole reason of being.
