Devil…No…Logan's heart was racing, he had been running ever since he encountered the group from Fairy Tail and didn't plan on stopping until he reached Lucy's home.

Natsume…, he thought to himself. She was always there to help him and always supported him with the resurrection of Baron, but something has been off with her lately. He knew more about her than she actually does, but that's neither of their faults. Trying to brush this feeling away, Logan continued to run. However, he felt a surge of pain hit his chest like a train and stopped himself short. Bent over and trying to catch his breath, Logan took deep breaths and placed his heart on his chest.

The amulet…

Logan reached into his shirt and pulled out the amulet, but it wasn't glowing or anything. Slightly confused, he placed his hand on his chest again and closed his eyes.

Logan's magic is a very complex magic. In short, he controls energy. It can be dark or light energy depending on his intentions. One of the many perks of his power is that he can sense the energy of other people he has come in contact with. Using this ability, Logan sent out energy waves to see if Natsume was okay. Almost like a radar using sound waves. After a few seconds, he finally found Natsume's energy, but something was not right with it. A person's energy (according to Logan) is like their aura. It has different colors and abilities based upon their physical or emotion standings. In Natsume's case, her energy is usually a bright golden color physically and a pale blue emotionally, but now both her emotional and physical standings were grey.

"Oh no…" Logan whispered, his eyes wide with fear. He was about to take a step towards the direction he sensed Natsume, but something clicked inside his head. As he searched for Natsume, he could faintly sense Lucy's energy. Knowing Lucy, she'll probably try to help Natsume…And take her to the mansion!, Logan thought quickly. Without hesitation, he turned around and continued running towards Lucy's old home.

Natsume…

"I…can…hear my name…"

Natsume!

"…Who's…there?"

Natsume's fluttered open and saw a short older man looking down at her. He had white hair, but was balding on the top, and a white mustache. Scratches and scorch marks covered his body, what happened to this man? She opened her eyes a little more and saw three other figures next to him. A young man, very tall and quite handsome; he had pink hair and had a big red tattoo on his arm, but his face was stern and confused. Next to him was a very beautiful girl with long blonde hair and big brown eyes, she had a great body with lots of curves and big boobs! Natsume's eyes widened even more and her mouth opened with astonishment. Finally she looked over and saw a blue cat with wings! Her excitement couldn't be contained anymore! Natsume sat up and held her arms out in front of the cat.

"OH MY GOSH! You are the cutest thing I have ever seen!" Natsume squealed with pure joy. The four of them stood there (happy floating of course) looking at her confused out of their minds.

Makarov was the most confused of them all though, he had just fought this girl with everything he had, and now she's sitting there without a scratch on her or a clue in her head.

"Uh…dear child…do you know where you are? Or what happened?" Makarov asked.

Natsume, still trying to grab Happy, looked over at Makarov and shook her head. "Nope! Not a clue! Alls I got is mah name!" she said with a big cheesy grin on her face. Makarov's eyes widened and he looked up at Natsu and Lucy. Not sure of what to do next, Lucy knelt down to her and held out her right hand.

"Well, my name's Lucy! I'm a Celestial Wizard! What's your name?" she asked with a soft voice. Natsume smiled brighter and shifted her body over like a little kid would. She held out her right hand too and grabbed Lucy's hand, "My name's Natsume! I'm a Starlight Beast Wizard!" she said simply.

Starlight Beast?! But, Loke only spoke of those once to me ever…He said they were nearly extinct!, Lucy thought to herself. She didn't show it on her face of course, but something about this girl made Lucy's heart feel warm.

Natsu bent down and pointed at himself with confidence, "I'm Natsu! I'm what you would call a Dragon Slayer! And my partner you were trying to hug is Happy!"

"Aye, Sir!" Happy said aloud and flew near Natsume's face. Natsume felt Happy's tail tickle her face a little and couldn't help but to giggle. However, the only one not enjoying the introductions was Makarov. He tugged on Natsu's collar and pulled him aside while Natsume played with Lucy and Happy.

"Natsu…something isn't right here." Makarov whispered. Natsu's eyes widened a little.

"That girl casted a spell that could have easily killed us. Something happened at the last moment though and the spell backfired, resulting in us being frozen. What's troubling me is that…" he stopped. Natsu looked at him, his eyes wandering all of the old man's face trying to find the answer. Finally, Makarov faced Natsu, "What troubles me is that this girl has completely lost her memory. She was an associate with the man behind Lucy's attack. And now, it's like she's a toddler."

Natsu's eyes darkened and he turned to look at Natsume, but then he realized what the master was talking about. He saw it all over Natsume's face, she was purely happy. A girl with bad intentions would have easily attacked them upon waking up, but she didn't. She smiled at them as if she had just been reborn.

"We must watch her." Makarov spoke, looking at Natsume too. Natsu looked down at the master and gave a slight nod.

"Take her with you and Lucy. Show her the meaning of friendship and the goodness in the world. We must make sure that if her memories do return, they do not alter her new self." Makarov ordered before turning to head back towards Magnolia. Natsu stopped him though before he could continue.

"Wait, master! What if that Devil guy comes around and does something to her?" he asked, his voiced sounded like it was clouded with worry. Makarov didn't even turn around to give his reply, "Do what must be done." And with that, Makarov left.

Feeling confused, Natsu turned around and saw Lucy helping Natsume regain her balance. Suddenly, a familiar scent flooded Natsu's senses and an image of the little girl from his dream popped into his head. No…It can't be…

Natsume leaped over to Natsu and waved her hand in his face, a big cheesy grinstill planted on her face. "Natsu-san! Lucy-san said we are going on an adventure! Are you going to find treasure?! Or defeat a mighty beast and rescue a princess?!" she said happily, imitating a muscular man and showing off her muscles. Happy touched her muscles and let out a small laugh, "This feels like a bag filled with sand!"

"WHA-UGH! Happy! That's not cool!" Natsume said chasing after Happy.

Lucy laughed and joined Natsu's side. She grabbed his arm and held it close to her body, making the dragon slayer blush. "I don't know what Master told you, but we can't just leave her. I have this feeling like she's going to give us some answers about this amulet." Lucy said softly to Natsu as they watched Natsume running with Happy. A chill ran up Natsu's spine, but he brushed it off.

"You're right. Let's go then! Time's A Wastin'!" Natsu said cheerfully and grabbed Lucy's hand. They ran up to Natsume and Happy and the four of them began to run off into the hills of Fiore.
