Hello everyone. This is Gem Goddess with a short announcement for this story as well as some others.

Love Bites will be updated and half of the next chapter has been written. The problem is, I kinda don't have much inspiration for this fic. I had to rethink so much about this story and its plot. I know how it's gonna end so hopefully, this would hopefully do something to motivate me.

Recently, a person bashed on this fic through Youtube without my permission which deeply offended me, but the person was kind enough to take the videos down. This literally, made me embarrassed of this fic because I noticed some unclear points. I literally want to go back and edit this whole fic all over again...as well as some chapters in Raising Steven, but it's not gonna be a big change.

Next chapter for this will be updated as soon as possible, but just know that it's kinda hard for me to write. Especially since someone pointed out that Garnet can't date anyone since she's a fusion of Ruby and Sapphire, who are in love. Okay, first off, I know that! This fic was written a year before the "Jail Break" episode. How was I suppose to know that a year ago, when I had no clue on who they were! However, I kinda see Garnet as an individual gem being since she is herself with Ruby's and Sapphire's combined. Yeah...I'm way off, aren't I? :l

One story I'm enjoying writing so much is Raising Steven. It's my favorite since it's so heartwarming and a big important project for me. I'm proud of that fic. It's all that I want to work on this whole time. But unfortunately, I have other fics to attend. I might update RS before Love Bites so please be aware of that. I had to change my schedule and everything.

No, this fic won't be discontinued or be dead. None of my other fics are too. Everything will be done at some point...possibly.

I'm looking into releasing a Ruby and Sapphire one shot and a Connie AU fic collaborated with Tumblr artist, Mechandra, for my next updates. And of course, 100 ways to mess with Pearl because that is a easy one for me to write within 20-30 minutes.

Please understand that my life is busy and very troublesome for me too. I'm juggling my fanfics, my personal life/issues, classes, art improvement, and driving lessons all in my hands and it's stressful!

But I do promise you that I will update this, Another Day in Beach City, Armageddon, and other fics when given the chance. In April, I'm looking to updating Guide of Beach City's Mysteries, at least twice per week cause I have some catching up to do.

This chapter/author's note will be deleted when I update this fic with the real chapter. So in approximately, a week and a half.
