"Darla, you need to ditch him." I said to her.

"You don't understand, I can't." Darla said, rubbing her arms.

"Is he always like this?" I asked.

"Yep, always. He used to be sweet, but after a week of being together... He changed, he didn't even act like himself." Darla told me.

"Why can't you ditch him? What's holding you back?" I asked, my voice showing signs of irritation.

"Russel, you don't understand..." I cut her off, "Then explain it to me." Darla sighed then sat down at a table next to me.

"His name is Robbi. He's crazy. Robbi is bat shit insane, fuckin' psycho! He seemed so normal, I met him workin' here. He was the first guy to give me attention, since I moved here. I felt homesick because I used to live in Texas. Robbi was so sweet. He would talk to me and agree to everythin' I said. I found it weird when he didn't tell me anythin' bout himself, but the more I told him bout me, the more I found out we had more in common. Or so I thought, I think he was only saying things to make me like him. Soon we were dating and a week later we had a 'lil argument that ended with him slapping me. First I thought that maybe things had just escalated and that was it, but I was wrong, things got drastically worse. Our fighting increased and so did the violence. I said I was leavin' him and he went berserk. He smashed my head in a glass table that broke instantly and threw me up against a wall punchin' and cuttin' me with the broken glass! Then he threatened do something horrible. Robbi..." My eyes widened in horror. I had become fully interested on where this conversation was going, and waited for her to continue. She started to tear up and I rubbed her arm softly.

"You need to get away from me. Robbi will go after you, and anybody you associate with. I am so sorry I got you into this, but you need to stay away from me."

I protested at this suggestion, "Never, I won't let him hurt you anymore. I can take him on." I said. Darla looked down to the floor, she looked as if she wanted to say something, then she began.

"Robbi, is extremely jealous and dangerous, I think he's got some kind of mental disease or somethin'. He told me, that if I leave him, he will kill me, but he'll kill my friends and family first so that I can watch them suffer." Darla finished, her tan skin now looking pale.

I didn't know what to say to that, the shock and fear set in as I realized how bad the situation had gotten.

"Come with me, we can go to the police and send this guy to jail." I suggested. Suddenly her eyes grew big as she contorted her face in fear and she slightly trembled. I looked behind me to see what had caught her eye. It was Robbi heading towards us with an enraged expression.

"You just made the list buddy, leave her alone or I will make you." Robbi threatened me. I stood up, to stand my ground.

"Leave her alone, or I will make you." I used his own words against him. Before I had a chance to react, Robbi pulled out a small gun and pointed it towards me. I put my hands up defensively.

"Woah..." I gasped.

Robbi grabbed Darla's wrist while saying, "It's time to go, Darla. I wouldn't interfere if I was you." Robbi said that last part to me, the gun still pointed at my chest. I had no choice but to let them go, Darla cried heavily as he dragged her out of the mall, nobody else noticing the gun he had.

Anger boiled inside me as I sat there unable to do anything, completely useless. I didn't know what to do, if I contacted the police, Darla might be put in more danger. I walked back to the Geep to go back home. I'll tell everybody at home about this, maybe they will help me decide what to do. I thought to myself.

I went inside the house, the air seemed to get chilly as the leaves rustled and the wind blew eerily. When I opened the door, all was normal like what just happened, hadn't. Everybody was in the kitchen. 2D was rubbing Jeiel's back as she laid her head face-down on the table, her hands covering her eyes. Noodle was making some breakfast, Murdoc had his arms crossed impatiently.

"You were supposed to make breakfast today." Murdoc said, I stood there quietly, unsure of how to tell them everything I had just experienced. I looked at Jeiel, a bit confused with how unhappy she looked.

2D saw me and said, "She's got a bit of a hang-over this morning from last night." He explained.

I nodded my head, then began telling them what had happened no longer able to contain it.

"...I don't know what to do, I've got to fucking do something, he's going to kill her!" I finished telling them the story. They all stared shocked at what I had said. Even Jeiel had picked up her head and was focusing on everything I had said.

"We've got to go to the police, mate." 2D stated.

"What will that do, it will only put Darla in more danger if he finds out the goddamn police are after him!" I snapped.

"It's worth a try, we're practically sitting ducks." Noodle inquired.

I took the Geep and headed down to the police station. Everybody had come with me, probably for moral support. Fear tightened in my throat as I realized that a car was behind me. This usually wouldn't be that strange if it wasn't for the fact that I knew for sure it had been behind me when I was driving home. It was an orange van, how many orange vans do you see in a day? Not many.

Suddenly, the car sped up looking like it was about to pass me. Then in one speedy move, it rammed into the side of the Geep. The Geep then flipped over off the road tumbling downwards until a tree stopped it's reckless path. I stayed conscience for a second, feeling the air bag pressed against my face, then I blacked-out.

My eyes opened slowly, a slight ringing in my ears.

"I told you that if you didn't stay away, I would make you. And what do you do? You decided to tell your friends and have full intentions of telling the police. We wouldn't want that, now would we?" Robbi said from behind me. I looked around and saw that I was handcuffed to the floor. Looked like a basement, cement everywhere. Wooden stairs lead up to the unknown.

Robbi then said, "Have fun dying down here where nobody can hear your screaming."

I looked at him with anger and yelled out, "My friends will save me, they will know I am missing and will find me somehow!"

Robbi turned his back before walking upstairs, the last thing he said was, "Oh, I have a feeling that they are probably too occupied trying to find themselves, to try and find you."
