Cold seeped into half of Jeiel's body as the other half was engulfed in warmth. The strange feeling sent chills down her spine as she began stirring, trying to get a sense of the last thing that had happened to her. Murdoc sat next to her, staring into the fire that he'd made. "Where are we?" Jeiel asked Murdoc with some confusion. He looked at her, something different in his eyes.
The fire crackled sending embers into the starry night sky.
"Well that does seem to be the question of the hour, mate. I'm not entirely sure where the bloody 'ell we are, but last thing I remember was the crash." The crash! Jeiel thought to herself, her memories slowly coming back to her.
"Where is 2D." Jeiel asked inching closer to Murdoc who was next to a giant fire. Murdoc made a face as she asked this. Why is it always about 2D? Murdoc thought to himself pitifully. Around the two band-mates was a flourished forest filled with large beautiful plants and green vegetation.
"I dunno. I woke up a few feet away from you, and started this fire because it was dark and chilly, love. Now I want some goddamn rum!" Murdoc explained.
"We must have been dropped off here in the middle of nowhere. We have to find a way to get to the others." Jeiel said with panic rising in her throat.
"You got your mobile on you?" Murdoc asked Jeiel. She pulled out her glittery, pink phone and tried turning it on.
In desperation she sighed, saying, "Dead battery. I hope 2D is okay, where ever he is."
2D woke up to the painful feeling like somebody was pinching him. His eyes shot open as a vulture flew away, obviously afraid that it's food had come back to life. Blinding light hurt 2D's eyes, sweat had been forming on his brow from the intense heat. Not again! Please don't tell me I'm back at that stupid, plastic beach. Uh no, anything but that bloody whale! 2D thought to himself. As 2D's vision began to adjust, his fear of the plastic beach faded as he saw that he was in some kind of desert. However, a new fear bubbled to the surface.
He was alone, nobody near him for miles. 2D thought miserably to himself how badly he wanted to be with Jeiel, to know she was okay. He just needed to get back to her somehow, stuck in this steamy desert. Looking in the distance, 2D saw nothing but yellow sand and a cactus here and there. Where the 'ell am I? How do I get out of here? 2D began asking himself in his head. His head began to pound as he thought more about the situation. So 2D took out his pain killers and popped a couple in his mouth then began walking, to hopefully be met with some kind of civilization.
Cold. Cold everywhere turning Noodle's body to ice. A cold that pierced her skin so hard that it burned. She instantly woke up to see snowflakes landing on her. Ice shavings outlining her body. All around her, Noodle saw the white, wispy-like snowflakes, and there wasn't much else. Just snow. She began trudging in the snow, holding herself to try and somehow warm herself.
Up ahead, Noodle saw lights through the snow. Lights of many colors. She began walking towards the lights in hopes for something other than snow. What if I am dead? I know I heard somewhere that if you see a light, don't go into it! Noodle thought to herself, unsure whether or not to continue towards the lights.
"What do we do, it's in the middle off the night and its cold. We don't have any available phones, and we are far away from our friends." Jeiel said to Murdoc.
"At least we got each other." Murdoc said cheerfully. Jeiel sighed.
"Calm down, love. Enjoy the night, relax. We can find a way to get outta this forest in the morning." Murdoc said trying to get Jeiel to relax.
"I guess your right." Jeiel said giving in.
Returning to the forest floor, Jeiel fell asleep once more. Murdoc could not sleep. He just couldn't. He felt like he had to keep guard while Jeiel slept. He didn't want some foreign animal wandering by and deciding he wanted a Jeiel and Murdoc snack. When morning came around, bags had formed around Murdoc's eyes, but he still wasn't sleepy. Jeiel woke up softly, filled with energy.
"You look like you've been up all night. Did you get any sleep?" She asked the rough looking Murdoc.
"I'm fine. Lets get going, I have a feeling we may have to walk all day." Murdoc answered. With that, the two began walking into the forest.
The two spent hours walking around, tall trees shading them from the heat of the sun. Strange, unknown foreign animals made noises that filled the tropical, lush forest. Colorful, vivid plants scoured the forest floor as they walked around. Finally, finding a small stream, Jeiel and Murdoc stopped to rest and get a drink.
"I'm tired, are we there yet?" Jeiel asked jokingly, trying to lighten the mood.
"This is hopeless, we have wandered around for hours." After Murdoc said this, leaves began rustling from some type of movement.
Murdoc walked over to Jeiel protectively as the noise grew in volume. Poking its head from the undergrowth, was a small, adorable baby gorilla.
"No fucking way..." Murdoc said, walking toward the baby animal. When he was less then an inch from the baby, he bent down and sat on his knees saying, "You know, me and you are related. I'm part of Gorillaz, and your an actual gorilla." Murdoc laughed. Jeiel began to giggled and walk over to Murdoc.
Murdoc lightly patted the baby animal on the head, bad move. He should have just left the wild animal alone. Soon, a very large gorilla emerged. It was the mother, and she wasn't happy to see two humans near her offspring. The mother gorilla began growling, making Jeiel and Murdoc back away from the wild animals.
"Oh, fuck..." Jeiel said under her breath as the mother gorilla lunged towards the two and began chasing after them.
Running in the forest screaming, the two tried desperately to lose the gorilla until they ran into an actual human-being. He was tall, dark, and in expedition clothing. Shock formed on his face as the two collided with him. With the gorilla still in pursuit, the stranger noticed this and took out a gun. When the mother gorilla came in view, the stranger shot the gun up in the air. It turned out that it wasn't an actual gun. It was some kind of noise-maker, that scared the gorilla away with a loud POP!
Jeiel and Murdoc sat hugging each other, shaking and trying to catch their breaths. When they began to calm down, the stranger spoke to them in a foreign language.
"What?" Was the only thing to come out of Jeiel's mouth.
The foreigner pinched his lips together then spoke again, "Do you speak English?" He asked.
Murdoc smiled, "Yes! Finally, another person in this goddamn forest!" Murdoc said relieved.
"Where are we?" Jeiel asked the stranger.
"Africa." The stranger replied.
As 2D walked around in the desert, came into view an oasis. He was so happy, but doubtful. Usually good things didn't happen so easily for him. He pondered the fact that he could be seeing some kind of mirage, but in truth, he wasn't. He walked over to the oasis and began drinking from the water. Exhaustion creeping into his legs as he sat to relax.
Looking beyond the horizon, 2D became elated to see that there was a small campsite. He ran towards it, energy returning to him in delight of this. When he came close to the small campsite, it vanished! VANISHED It had been a mirage. Had the water been a mirage? How long had 2D been wandering? Time seemed to slip in the steamy, desert. Suddenly a horrible stinging pain, coursed through 2D's foot to his leg. He looked down to see that he had stepped on a scorpion and it had stung him in revenge. Venom coursed through 2D's blood as he began losing feeling in his legs as he collapsed. Soon he couldn't feel anything and his vision began to turn red until his vision completely faded to black and he passed out.
When 2D woke up again, his vision had returned and his foot felt better. He looked down to see that a bandage had been wrapped around his foot. It appeared that 2D was in a tent, laying on a bed. As 2D stirred, what looked like a nurse came up to him, speaking to him in foreign tongue.
2D scratched his head asking, "What did you say, mate?" When 2D said this, the nurse went over to a man and said something to him in the foreign language.
The man was short, tan and had black hair and brown beady eyes. He approached 2D with caution.
"English?" The man asked.
2D nodded, "Where am I?" He asked.
"How do you not know where you are?" The man asked 2D surprised.
"I woke up here disoriented, I don't 'fink I know where I am." 2D replied.
"Egypt." Said the man.
Noodle ran towards the lights, afraid that her numbing legs would give out before she reached her destination. As the lights came closer into view, Noodle realized that she had stumbled into village. Her heart pounded with joy as she looked at the first house to her right.
She then ran to the porch, her body ice cold. She knocked on the door. She noticed some writing on the door. Noodle was smart enough to tell what language something was written in, even if she didn't know the language herself. Reading the writing, she was surprised to find that it was Russian! Noodle was in Russia. Then Noodle passed out on the porch from hypothermia as the Russian owner of the house opened the door to find an iceberg of a girl lying on there porch.
