Awaken Again… As A Queen!? And Ever After!

As soon as Count Dracula sent C and the two humans away (hoping they would reach safety), he jumped after Cornwell and immediately began to chase after the coward. Cornwell ran from him, and Dracula anticipated that. Conwell would always run away from a larger threat! Especially since that threat was extremely pissed at him! Dracula had had enough! He was going to see this maggot wither, painfully, and die by his hands! What he did to C, these people and so on… Dracula will see to it that his wretched unlife will no longer continue to plague the world!

As they ran throughout the networks of the building, Dracula's eyes stayed focused even as their speed became blinding and transparent as shadows. Bringing up the gun, Dracula fired several rounds into the traitor's back. Cornwell missed most of them until one nailed him in the shoulder. The Count smirked as the week vampire hissed in pain and tried to make several sharp turns to avoid any more bullets. Being careful of his aim this time, Dracula sped up even faster until he was on the traitor's heels!

"You are fast, Cornwell!" Dracula spat in a mocking voice while Cornwell tried to speed up, but he just couldn't avoid the elder vampire. "But not fast enough! Your Judgment Time has arrived!" And with that Dracula brought up the harder end of both guns and struck Cornwell in the back of his head. The undead Knight gave a shout of surprise and fell to the floor, rolling as he did so. His arm was still bleeding, smearing the crimson liquid on the dusty ground as he rolled on his back and tried to crawl away from the vengeful Count. Dracula, with his icy blue eyes set like daggers, slowly approached the trembling fiend as his grip tightened on the guns, almost cracking the handles.

"You are a fool, Cornwell!" Dracula's voice spoke darkly while his fangs were set as he sneered down at the pathetic sight before him. "A fool to ever think that challenging me will get you anywhere! A fool to ever believe you could escape my wrath! You forget your place, Coward! And I never show mercy to fools and cowards! Especially for what you're treacherous deeds have done! You failed at the Duel Pits of War! Failed at eliminating my Dampire! And now – you have failed at controlling an army of Werewolves for the sake of destroying myself and the others! What were you hoping to accomplish here, Cornwell!? ANSWER ME! Before I send you to Hell!"

"That you – are a very blind old bat!" Cornwell snickered at him as Dracula began to growl deeply in his throat. "That even someone as powerful as you – can lose sight of reason and even power when it comes to a pretty – little – girl!" He spat each world like it was fowl as he continued to crawl away from the venting King. "You have lost your way! King of Vampires! I knew – as well as a few others that after your defeat at the hands of Van Helsing you would grow soft! Weak! Pitiful!"

With an angry roar, the Count lunged for the vampire and grabbed him by the throat and nailed his carcass to a wall in a span of a few seconds. "You DARE assume such things when it is I who holds your fate in my hands!?" Dracula hissed out as he dug the barrel of one of his guns under the man's chin, threatening to blow his head clean off. "I'll send you to the deepest part of Hell for this!"

"I'll be welcomed back as a hero!" Cornwell gasped out as he continued to grin at the Count. "Although, you wanted to know what I was trying to accomplish? The fall of ALL the old leaders of Hell!"

What!? The Count blinked at him in surprise as the vampire just smirked up at the old King's confusion.

"That's right! There are many demons and monsters; like me, that want to see a new age for the creatures of Darkness!" Cornwell continued, even as the Count's grip around his throat tightened. "All you old and so-called rulers of the Afterlife have kept us hiding in the shadows long enough! We, the Visionaries, shall bring a new order between life and death! You've had your chance to concur this world; much like the rest, but failed! I'm not the only one that's fighting for change! Even our former Lord will be replaced on the throne of Hell soon!"

"FOOL! What makes you think that you and your rebel's can get away with this!?" Dracula slammed his head into the wall again. "Have you learned NOTHING!? We must only take what we need! Never more than our fill in this world! That is the natural order of Life and Death! To defy this is to defy everything that we have fought so hard to achieve!"

"You mean what YOU and YOU'RE followers have achieved!" Cornwell corrected him sternly. "And the only thing that you weak beings have achieved is how well you can hide from the mortals. It's funny! You call me coward and yet it is you and the others that keep secrets from the mortal world when THEY should be serving US! The true rulers of this planet!"

"To say such things only proves how little experience you have in this world!" Dracula hissed at him. "Or – have you just abandoned all of that so you Visionaries can start trouble! We do not need to rule the humans! Don't you understand!? You will be ripping the boundaries of this world and Hell itself! Everything will be destroyed! Nothing will survive to rule over! Not even your rebels!"

"We'll see about that!" Cornwell smirked as his blood started to drip down the side of his mouth. "We are many in number, Count! You can try to hunt us down but I doubt you can find all of us! Not even the human's Vatican special Hunters will stop us! Not even you're precious Dampire! In fact, I highly doubt that she will survive this night!"

"Carolyn is more than capable to handle a few stray dogs!" Dracula spat at him. "You have underestimated her time and time again and she has triumphed! What makes you think that she will fail now!?"

"My Werewolves aren't the only things that will surprise her," Cornwell grinned as the Count's gaze hardened in slight confusion as well as irritation at the whelp before him. "Remember my poison, Count? Each dog in this building had its claws covered in Belladonna! As well as a few add-ons to strengthen the effect!"

His blue eyes went from angered, to widen in surprise, and then hardened into full out fury! With another inhuman roar, Dracula rammed the vampire through several floors of the building, causing most of the structure to collapse and spread splinters of wood and bricks around them. Dropping the guns, Dracula was more interested in ripping the maggot with his bare claws. Cornwell tried to fight back, but it was useless. Dracula was easily giving him a run for his money as he was smacked and thrown into several metal beams and solid walls. Having his fill, Dracula grabbed onto the undead fool one more time and threw him hard threw one of the many floors. It shattered from his impact; like a cannon ball going through a wall. Cornwell cried out in pain as he landed on the floor below, cringing and groaning as his healing abilities worked to repair the broken bones. His hat, cane, and cape long been discarded as the rest of him looked like he had been tossed in a blender.

The Count was on him again and lifted him into the air by the throat. His eyes as black as purls as his fangs threaten to bit him. But he didn't. "I should rip your insides out and watch as you squirm until you are nothing but ash!" His voice was rough and full of malice as Cornwell continued to choke in his steel grip. But, he wanted something more fitting for this freak to die from. Something that Dracula had always appreciated to being the worst ways to die from. And he found the idea quit pleasing as his dark eyes glowed some when he spotted a broken, yet sharp looking beam hanging just above them. It looked more square and broken up than anything else, but it will do. "But – you should already know of my 'trademark' for disposing criminals and traitors such as you!"

Cornwell's bright orange eyes shined in fear at the realization and the Count grinned as the fool began to tremble in his ever hardening grip. Not giving him a moment to object, Dracula jumped off the ground, hauling Cornwell with him as he flew towards the broken beam. It took some effort on his part, but Dracula had made it look easy as he rammed Cornwell's back into the splintered wood. Cornwell let out a cry of pain as the Count continued to press him until he could hear the familiar tearing of skin and muscles, soon followed by breaking bones.

Dracula was grinning the whole time as he pushed Cornwell's miserable corps even further into the beam until its sharp points were sticking out of his undead chest. The blood of Sir Charles's Cornwell was dripping from the hole in his chest as well as from his mouth and nose. But before his body began to degrade into dust, the Count leaned in closer to his convulsing face; to deliver one final message. "Tell your followers in Hell that they are next!"

Dracula stayed hovering in the air for a while longer, watching in satisfaction as his enemy was finally vanquished. His remains making a small pile of ash just below. But – now the Count had new problems to deal with. If what Cornwell said was true, then this uprising from Hell and on Earth must be dealt with! And soon! But first; he had to make sure C was alright.

Just as soon as he was able to sense her whereabouts in this fowl place, for he was grateful that all of the werewolves had been eliminated, he found her aura beginning to weaken. Something had happened! He could almost feel her pain!

Carolyn? Are you alright? He sent the mental message to her, but she didn't respond. Either she didn't hear him, or she was blocking him. As soon as he was going to ask again, her mind suddenly connected with his.

Forgive me. I'm sorry… Master… I wasn't strong enough… I'm sorry.

Carolyn! She sounded so weak! What had happened? The way she said it made it seem like she was… NO! "CAROLYN!" He hollered and immediately bolted for her. His form turning into shadow as he raced through the building to get to her. He can't be too late! He just can't let her die! Not like this! Hold on! Carolyn! Hold on! I am coming!

Fading… everything is… fading… into darkness… Her mind replied calmly as his pace sped up. Like that was even possible, but he willed himself forward in able to reach her. As soon as he jumped out of the nearest window he landed on the sidewalk and faced the most dreadful scene in his unlife.

There she was; lying on her back in a pool of her own sweet blood as the female detective was weeping over her while the male just stood a few feet away, looking sad and just about as lost as he felt for the dying woman.

Anger and desperation made the Count take several steps towards them as he hollered; "Do not touch her!"

Detective Elliot saw Dracula coming at them, looking not too pleased either. Feeling the need to protect Olivia, the man grabbed her by the shoulders and began to yank her away from the Dampire.

"Come on, Liv!" Elliot pulled at her hard, but was met with her resistance. "You don't want to get in his way!"

"No! NO!" Olivia tried to fight him off, but her partner was stronger than her, and therefor easily pulled her back away from C's motionless form as the Count knelt beside her, looking sad and yet his eyes stayed focused, like he was thinking of something. His pale hands and black sleeved arms lifted her front half until her head was cradled against his chest as her arms danged over his embrace. For a moment, Elliot thought the Count was going to cry or make a loud roar in anguish. But no. Instead, he started to talk to her, rather quietly so that only she could hear. If she could that is. C looked pretty beat up and that poison was working a little too well. What can the Count do to save her from this?

"Carolyn?" Dracula whispered as his forehead nearly toughed with hers. By hearing her name, her hazel eyes slowly opened, but they held a weak glow. "Carolyn, my love. You have fought so bravely. So valiantly. There is but only one way I can help you now. But… the choice must be yours." He said as she was watching him while his other hand came up to stroke her face. "My dear C. If there is anything of you that I could never take; it is your will to choose." Her eyes glistened some as her chest struggled to take in air, but he continued. "I would be forever grateful if you chose to live with me... As my wife." His bright blue eyes shined with hope as he stared into hers, with as much love as he could muster. He feared for her death and would be forever empty without her if she chose to leave; but – he couldn't force her to stay either. It was as he had said, as he had always given her; a choice.

When she slowly smiled up at him, he felt that emotion in his chest bloom with happiness. Happiness. Joy. Relief. And yes – love. She was choosing to stay! With him! For the rest of time. He couldn't help but hug her and give her a loving kiss on the lips. When she made a painful moan (because she could still feel pain) he gently loosened his grip, but still held on to her.

I – love you. Her mind connected with his and he felt like he would overflow with the emotions he was feeling. So much for a monster that cannot feel! He grinned at her snippy comment but he couldn't help it. She was going to make such a wonderful Bride!

I love you as well, my dearest C. His mind gently brushed against hers as his fangs grew out, filling them with his potent venom. Moving her head to the side and brushing some of her black hair, he nuzzled her throat and kissed the spot where he would begin to change her. He did not care of the two Detectives were watching or not, he had his future love to save! And so – he bit down. His fangs piercing her skin as he started to suck at her blood the moment they fell on his tongue.

He drank and drank until she was almost drained. Although the poison did not help things, it wouldn't kill him either. Instead, as he heard the last sounds of her heart beat beginning to fade, and so he brought the palm of his hand to her mouth. Piercing his own skin with his sharp nails, he opened her mouth and let his dark blood spill past her lips. He let her drink as much as she needed, inwardly pleased that she was taking his blood in without strain. Once she was done, he removed his hand and held her while her body began to change. He trembled some as his own body was purging it of poison, but he stayed focused as Carolyn's heart beat its very last. Once out, a new force took its place as her muscles and bones started to firm themselves into vampiric perfection. Her skin stayed while as her mined drifted off into silent slumber. She will need the rest, as will as he.

What he didn't see was how all the lights on the block had suddenly gone out and how an eerie wind had picked up; blowing around the Count and C, and passed the two humans.

"That – was kind of weird," Elliot muttered as he continued to hold his partner in his arms while her dark brown eyes stayed on the form of C. When the wind had passed they watched as the vampire lifted her into his arms and stand back on his feet. He looked weary, and yet still never looked more menacing as those bright blue eyes turned to them. "Umm… will she be alright?" Elliot finally worked up the courage to ask.

"Yes. She has chosen to ascend and stay beside me for the rest of time," Dracula smirked as they both nearly gaped at him.

"She's a full vampire now!?" Elliot stuttered as his partner found the time to slip out of his grasp and bravely strode towards them. Ignoring the Count's tense gaze he seemed to make no other movements to prevent her from coming closer. Olivia kept her eyes on C's form as she stared into the woman's face. This woman who had survived the hardships of the sea and then some; and who had also saved her a half a dozen times, was now a true vampire! Oh man! What a night!

"I thank you, Madam Officer, for staying by her side as much as you have," The Count's smooth voice made her look up at him and she was stunned at the kind smile he gave to her in return. "But now C and I have other things to attend to. We will be leaving New York as soon as she wakes."

Nodding her head once in understanding, she wanted to ask him something before they left, "Will we see you again?"

The Count raised an eyebrow at her but his smile remained. Like she wanted to get into any more crazy cases with them again! She just wanted to see them off before they were permanently gone. "Perhaps." His rich voice sounded amused at her as her partner marched up behind her, looking rather protective of her too. "But, for now, we must rest. As should you. I trust you can explain everything to your Captain without me?"

"Ya. Go on already!" Elliot huffed out as the corner of his eyes stayed on the building. "Before something else pops up out of nowhere to give us a heart attack!"

Dracula grinned and his chuckling echoed around them as he and the newly changed C disappeared in a wave of black mist.

"I am SO calling this one in!" Elliot pulled out Olivia's phone and she didn't argue with him. He almost shouted in joy as the service was restored in the phone and he was able to dial the number for the others. Olivia just stood on the spot for a while as her partner began to recite the recent events to their Chef of command. Looking down, she almost blinked at the clean ground that had C's blood on it moments ago. It must have disappeared back inside her. She thought and then smiled as she recalled how the Count looked when C chose to stay with him. Thank God! Someone needs to control that man! Pocketing her fists, she spotted C's riffle on the ground and went to retrieve it. Thinking it was best to hang on to it, until C feels better, she walked back to their car with a smile on her face. Despite the life threatening situation they were in. Despite all the terrible deaths that occurred and realizing that they will have to inform the friends and families of those people who had died from a horrible fate; Olivia found that she could sleep in the passenger seat while her partner handled the rest. Besides a cup of coffee, she needed her beauty sleep too.

Upon waking up I felt… well, different! I knew I was still the same person as before, but my body felt different. Like… stronger different. My eyes didn't feel that different, but nor was my vision totally the same. I can see it was still dark, but I could see clearly as if it was daylight. It must be the night of the next day, because the clock on the wall read one in the morning. The room I was in was obviously the one that Dracula had rented out in the Hilton Hotel. I can still smell our sweat on the bed! Gross. Stretching as I sat up, I raised my arms into air and breathed out a loud moan. It seemed like all a dream. What had happened between myself along with Dracula and the two Detectives as we faced a whole pack of Werewolves that had once been the Homeless people we had set out to find.

Remembering that made me sad, and angry, and restless! I had failed to bring back the cities missing people and had no other choice but to kill them too because of the curse that they had been inflicted with. Moaning in my frustration, I fell back on the bed and let my arms fan across each side, but not before my right arm hit someone in the chest, and he moaned in protest.

"My darling C," The irritated voice of Dracula's came out sternly as I slowly turned to face his sleepy form. "Must you always wake me with such vigorous displays of your moping?"

"Who's moping?" I glared at him but I smiled as his blue eyes opened to glare at me in return.

"Regardless of the entertainment you provide me, I do require rest at this time," He breathed out and his arms wrapped around me as I curled up next to him. "How do you feel?" He asked after a few minutes of peaceful silence passed by.

"Fine. I guess," I admitted calmly as I breathed in his scent. He smelled so much stronger now. His masculine mixed in black velvet made me want to swoon, but I stayed focused, or I tried to when I saw how his smile grew at me. When I realized what he meant by fine I held my breath and placed my hand over my chest. No heartbeat. I wasn't loosing focus either as I held my breath! I snapped upright again, right after ripping away from Dracula and turned my head to the nearest mirror. No reflection. None at all! I was so used to having half a reflection that to not see it anymore was almost – creepy!

"Whoa!" I breathed as I examined my hands while still kneeling on the bed. The Count gave a small sigh as he took my hands in his and pulled me down to him.

"Do you regret your choice?" He asked rather moodily as those eyes searched mine deeply.

"No," I said which made him relax some. "It's just – I don't feel all that different."

"Hm. And neither does your scent," He smirked but his eyes showed his own confusion as well. Without warning, he pulled me so hard and fast that his face was literally buried in my chest as his arms held me tightly.

"HEY!" I shouted, feeling a little violated and 'turned on' as well while his nose was busy breathing me in. "What the Hell!? Let go already! Pervert!"

"Interesting," He breathed out as he pulled me down until our faces were inches apart. His eyes showed some of his surprise but he also looked excited about something as well.

"What? You didn't change me – wrong? Did you?" I asked, feeling the worst.

"It may have been centuries since I turned someone, but I do recall of what happens to a being once I do," He said while his head rested on the soft pillows as his hands lowered to my back. "But for you – my darling C. You were to most complicated of humans that I had ever encountered." He smiled as I raised an eyebrow at him. "Remember, your turning began with a vial of my very essence." He started out casually, "That one bottle held a very dependent part of my power. Only I would be able to control it and no one else. But – what I did not expect was how it would adapt to your ever independent nature."

"Hu. Which means…?" I asked as I watched him carefully.

"The power grew inside of you, C!" He explained as his eyes shined with pride. "Again you have done something that I could never have expected! When a vampire's strength grows, my C, it is in the time that they have existed does it develop into a more powerful force. Being over five centuries myself, my power has grown beyond the limit of most people's imaginations. But, as for you… Being both alive and possessing the power of a vampire; the power inside you grew as well! Also, during your separation from me, your power grew to adapt without me as well as make you stronger. After all, our bodies are merely the vessels of our essence. They grow depending on how strong our will is to live. Yet, I know you have had your failings too, but eventually you arose above and beyond it. Proving to everyone how strong you are!"

"Sooooo…. I'm not a normal vampire?" I concluded as his eyes seemed to dance in delight at my confusion and I frowned at his silent teasing.

"If you mean by normal as in Bride. Yes. You are far more than any vampire that I have ever made," He smirked as both my eyebrows rose into my hairline. "In short, my dear. I have made you my Queen."

"A – A – A Queen!?" I gaped at him as my legs tightened around his hips as my hands pressed into his shoulders. Although I was still shocked at the news, I hardly heard his aroused growl in his throat. "You're kidding me!? So what you're telling me is that I am more powerful than any floozy Bride you had in the past!?"

"Very much so," His eyes hardened with lust as I suddenly realized how I was sitting on top of him. Uh oh! His hands moved from my back and to rest on the edge of my hips, making his thumps perform sinful circles on my skin. Feeling my mouth going dry, I tried to move off of him, but he held me firmly. "Tis true. You have become much more than a simple Bride. Although, you are not as strong as I, you still have a great deal of power in your own right and…," He pulled me so that his lips were mere inches from my ear, "I shall enjoy teaching you everything you need to know, my darling C." And with that, his lips pulled at my earlobe and he began to tease the skin, making me tremble at the sensation.

"Such a devil!" I hissed out as my lower gut began to bubble with excitement. Something tells me that tonight is going to be pretty active. His hands moved and massaged my back and up to my shoulders till they came around and cupped each of my breasts, making me moan.

Carolyn. He groaned into my mind and then flipped us both over so that he was on top. He suddenly took my head into his hands and gave me a deep kiss. You are wonderful, my Carolyn. You fought bravely last night and continue to impress me. I wish for nothing more than to have you by my side. As my Queen!

It doesn't sound like it should be too difficult. I returned the thought and felt his smile against my lips. When he released me we were both panting and holding on to each other like we were afraid something would happen if we let go. His slow smile on that hansom face of his made me want to blush, but how can I now that I'm a true vampire? I guess I don't need to blush as the smell of my own arousal seemed to be mixing with his, creating a needy feeling between us.

"Trust me my C," He grinned down at me as he held me tightly beneath him, but there was no pain, only pleasure. "We shall both discover how powerful you have become – after tonight."

That night was filled with wonder. His declaration of love for me left me feeling ravaged and fresh. If my heart was still beating it would have exploded from all the things I was feeling! He was in a more relaxed state than ever I have seen him in. Not that he was just happy I was around, but more like I'll be around him for the rest of our unlives!

As for the Detectives of the SVU Department; we had a nice loooong chat about what had happened the night before. Although after Dracula had explained most of the details, he told me of what Cornwell had said before he was dust. That bastard! Not only was it just him causing trouble, but soon there will be a whole mess of demonic idiots like him to kick at the balance of peace! But – hunting them down will have to wait. As Dracula had always told me; 'those who live in shadow can bide their time for as long as they wish it.' Well, let's hope we don't wait too long for them to start anything else; like what Cornwell did in New York!

Oh ya, the police let the News Channels know about what had happened to the missing Homeless. They had gone with the story that it was a terrorist that was testing them on some new drug to enhance strength for their soldiers. But obviously they failed; thanks to me. I was mentioned about stopping the Terrorist but didn't like how they 'worded' that I had "tried to rescue the Homeless, but they had already died due to overdose of the mystery drug. We thank the Criminal Killer for trying her best in the face of danger." I'm just glade everyone in the SVU sworn to secrecy about the Werewolf curse being used by a crazed vampire! Well, no one in this odd century would believe that but still… you never know! I dare not go to any of the funerals. Partly of fear to being ridiculed for my failures and the guilt I felt myself for not rescuing the people in time. Dracula had tried to comfort me time and time again that it wasn't my fault, but it was hard. I doubt I'll ever move past that, but at least he wasn't leaving me alone.

After that, Ranfield had already packed all of our things as we were preparing to return to Transylvania. Olivia Benson stopped by to return my rifle gun; Mercy. I was so thankful that I think I nearly crushed her in my own hug! Of course she was curious of how much I have changed from Dampire into Vampire Queen! Ya, when I told her this, she acted the same way I did! Course Dracula found it funny but I cut the conversation short and shoved her out the door so we could finish packing.

We traveled to the airport later that day (for it was a cloudy day) and got the shock of our unlives to find the entire crew of the SVU Department to offer us their farewells.

"Actually, we came to say goodbye to you," Detective Stabler pointed at me while wearing a smirk.

Dracula rolled his eyes as he suddenly pushed me towards them. "Best say your farewells, darling," He whispered into my ear before going to the terminal and waiting for me by the entrance.

"You better keep his batty ass in line!" Elliot gapped a thumb his way and I smiled as Dracula glared daggers into the back of the man's head; clearly hearing that remark. "Along with any other vampire that decides to cross the ocean!"

"No promises," I smiled as Elliot rolled his eyes than slapped my back some and moved for Tutuola to step in.

"Take care of yourself, ya here?" He said, almost threateningly as we shook hands.

"Oh, you know me," I smiled and he returned it with his own.

"Ya. A little too well!" He pulled me into a one armed hug and then moved for John Munch. He just nodded his head and said "Take care," while the Captain suggested that I should call the next time a demonic threat should occur again. How sweet. But it was Olivia that nearly had me cracking up; in the sappy way.

"I'm going to miss having you around," She said as she embraced me in a hug, though I tried to shrug her off, I did my best to return the hug without hurting her.

"Oh, I don't know about that. You'll definitely feel safer without me around," I said as we released one another. She gave me a pitying look but I returned it with a warning. "I mean it, sister. I don't want to have to come back to save your ass again from a bunch of human Joes! If you can look a Werewolf in the face and then shot him dead; you and the others don't need me."

"Well… if that's what you believe. I won't force you to think otherwise," Olivia smiled up at me and then placed something metal in my hand. Looking down at it, I turned back to her with a "really?" look of my own. It was a C shaped pendant with a gold shimmer to it. "What? Every Queen needs her bling."

I rolled my eyes but shared the laugh that everyone was giving me. Giving her one last hug I marched over to where Dracula and Ranfield stood. We were going to enter the terminal when, Elliot called back to us.

"Hey, Count!" The man drew the vampire's gaze back to him. "The next time you visit New York, be sure to leave all of your Hocus Pocus stuff behind!"

"The next time I visit, it will be on different terms," Dracula laced the word with a dark tone, giving the man an effective shiver in the spinal region. "Farewell."

"Au revoir mes amis!" I waved as Ranfield trailed after us while the others did the same for me. Once on the plane, Ranfield settled into the front row while Dracula and I cuddled near the back where it was peaceful and somewhat quiet. Sighing in the silence, I smiled as Dracula tucked me under his arm, allowing my head to rest on his shoulder.

"We shall be in Budapest soon. Rest my dear," He kissed my forehead as we settled into our seats.

The flight was long and restless. Mostly for me because as we flew over the ocean, I was left shaking and moaning for most of the ride. Dracula did his best to comfort me, but it didn't matter. As long as I knew we were over the ocean, I was in my own stew of misery. Once the plane landed, a dark Rolls Royce was waiting for us. When I volunteered to take the wheel I did not miss how my new husband groaned in protest.

"Really, darling. And here I thought our last 'joy ride' was enough for one lifetime," He said as his eyes were clearly remembering the incident through Turkey.

"But – that wasn't entirely my fault!" I defended myself as we slid into the back seat. "If it weren't for those Hunters, we would have been just fine!"

Dracula rolled his eyes but smiled at me anyway. "Whatever you say, darling."

"Damn right! Hey – wait a minute! You're not just saying that to avoid a fight now are you?" I asked him as my eyes flashed in warning.

"Carolyn. I am tired. As soon as we reach the castle we can argue all you want," He smirked as I deadpanned at him, but then he looked confused when I started to snicker.

"I guess that's what I get for marrying an old man!"

"Old man?" Dracula raised an eyebrow at me and I felt like I should be nervous now. For a moment, I thought he would be squeezing me in his arms, but instead he just bent his head down so that he can whisper into my ear. "You did not complain how this 'old man' made you climax several times last night." His grin widened as I stared at him in shock for voicing that.

"Vlad!" I lightly smacked him on the shoulder, but he just chuckled. If I could blush right now, I would! "You devil you! Not in front of the servants!" I spat through my teeth. Though Ranfield was keeping a keen eye on the road, I sure as Hell didn't want him eavesdropping on this!

"Well since you want this conversation to be privet, I shall see you later in our chambers," He grinned, and before I knew it he had teleported away. What the Hell!? He joins me in the car, makes me heat up like a sidewalk on a hot afternoon, and then he disappears to God knows where and plans for whatever to come my way!

"That batty – bat!" I hollered and then I turned to glare at Ranfield as he start to chuckle.

"Don't worry yourself, Lady C," He said as I frowned at my new tittle. Well, it was reasonable considering I did marry a Lord. Of sorts. "I've never seen the Master this happy before! You've really changed things for the better!"

"I wonder," I huffed but smiled at him nonetheless. It's probably true that he was a miserable old mess before my arrival. But we sure didn't start out as a couple, that's for sure! But hey, I guess every relationship has its rocky starts. Mine just happened to be in a Bram Stoker point of view. Well, some of it anyway. But the rest was definitely me! If it wasn't for my help Van Helsing and Dracula would be causing who knows how much trouble if they started a fight!

Speaking of the old Hunter, I gave him a call a few nights back saying that I had solved everything with Dracula and gotten my revenge against the vampire who had crucified me into the ocean. With some help of course. At first he sounded shocked, but then just seemed to get over it and congratulate me. Though he did say he would be 'checking in' from time to time, I just warned him not to start World War Three on my door step or he's gonna get a boot up his ass. He took the warning in stride, and then wished me luck before hanging up.

As soon as we arrived in the village, I was given a pleasant 'Welcome Back' party. Carl gave me a warm hug along with almost every village orphan around! I missed those little guys! It went on for an hour before I was requested; by my husband, to go to Castle Frankenstein. I was given a ring of grunts and shouts from the Dwergi and was even tackled and licked in the face by our resident Werewolf, who I had named Wolfy. I don't think he would like the story of how I faced thirty stray werewolves without him to help, but I'll tell him later. After that Ranfield and I went through the map and entered Castle Dracula where I think the Count was still avoiding me! Or… was he still planning something for me? As long as it doesn't end in disappointment, I'll be cool.

"I have to go and fetch something, my Lady," Ranfield bowed to me and then trotted off somewhere.

If that wasn't suspicious, then I've seriously lost it. I thought as I rubbed my head in irritation.

Carolyn.

His voice was calling me through my mind but it sounded everywhere. Like an echo.

"Hello?" I called back and my voice echoed as well, down the huge hallway.

Carolyn.

"Are you playing games with me, Vlad Dracula?" I called again as I crossed my arms over my chest.

Come. Come to me, my darling.

Yep. He is. I sighed in a frustrated tone. But I decided to roll with it. Walking down the hallway, I noticed how impossibly quiet it's gotten. No winds blowing through the stone cold arches. No chirps or grunts from the Dwergi. Not even the usual bats that housed in the roofs and chimneys! "What's going on?" I asked into the empty corridor that I had turned into, but nothing. "You know, you're not the only one who's tired after a full day's travel and then some!"

You have worked so hard, my C.

I sighed again and scratched my head from all the reasons of why he was doing this to me.

You have fallen so far, and have risen higher than most could ever dream of!

Is he flattering me with corny praise and poetry!? I felt a small wind and saw a door open by itself. If this was supposed to be romantic, then I'm glad I'm not some random, scaredy-cat girl! Deciding 'the Hell with it' I walked through the open door and was greeted with a glittering sight. "Whoa." I breathed at all the dressers standing before me, for each one was holding a section of jewelry. Gold jewelry! With actual 'real' gems and such! There was even a fucking tiara of silver make and diamonds.

And you shall be rewarded.

THIS is one Hell of a reward! I thought in wonder as I walked over to one of the dressers. Enchanted, I picked up a gold neckless with a big ruby hanging from its chain. The red caught the light beautifully as I marveled at its make. This treasure must have been built up over the years he's been around. Not that I'm complaining but – what a gift!

I froze when I felt a presents enter the room, and when I turned, I just gapped at the sight before me as the neckless dropped from my hands and onto the wooden dresser again. There stood a manikin. You know? Like those human sized dolls that people use in stores and such to display tasteful looking clothing. Well, this one was all black, and it was MOVING! As in actual movement, like it was enchanted to walk like a human as its bald face and head swayed at my direction. What it was wearing was the most beautiful looking dress that I had ever seen! It was flat satin from the waist down, but it shimmered with black silk. A golden fabric was wrapped around its waist and hung down some for style. As for the waist up, it was V lined to shape the chest region and sparkled like dew. There was no sleeves but it held a double silk cape that lightly touched the floor as the life sized figurine came closer to me. HOW DOES HE FIND THIS STUFF!?

"Ooooh-kay?" I watched as it slowly circled me, making me feel nervous as shit and that's when I saw it wore something around its neck. Like those flowery things you see French Queens wear, or what Shakespeare wore himself. Neck ruffs? But it looked more flat and fanned out, lying on the shoulders and also black as the clear cape seemed to be flowing out of it. I was starting to freak out a bit as the dressy manikin started to sway and dance around me. Is it showing off or what? Although I was wearing my overcoat and black pants and shirt, and my hair was still held up with my new sticks; I was starting to wonder how I would fit in that thing.

As if reading my mind, the manikin's hands suddenly grabbed mine and I now noticed it was wearing elbow lengthen black gloves. It slowly began to spin us, like we were dancing. Now THIS is weird! But I was eventually smiling and laughing as it spun us and dipped me a few times. Closing my eyes to one last spin I felt something swimming around me. Something warm as I felt myself immersed into something soft. When I opened my eyes, the manikin was gone. Blinking in wonder as to where it disappeared to, I looked down at my hands and almost freaked. They were covered in the soft, silky gloves I saw moments ago on the manikin. Upon further inspection, I found that I was now wearing the entire gown! HOLY FUCKING HELL!

"WHOA!" I breathed out as I spun several times, feeling every soft inch of the dress that was now hugging my pale skin. Noticing my boots have been replaced with black, dress shoes (that also sparked some) I touched the ruff on my neck as well as feel the lining of my new, silky cape.

"Beautiful," A thick voice purred to my right and I turned to find Dracula himself leaning against the archway of the room. His blue eyes shown with approval and wonder as he looked at me from head to toe. "Like a true Queen." He grinned as I rolled my eyes. Such flattery!

"You sure know how to take a woman by surprise!" I accused rather stiffly, and his smile remained as he walked toward me, slowly.

"Especially if that woman becomes my most precious of treasures," He said as he wrapped his arms around me in a light embrace. "You are a Queen now, Carolyn. A young Queen, but still. You shall be treated as such. I expect nothing less for my lovely wife." As he said this, he had slipped off his ring and placed it on my ring finger. His ring! The one he was soooo obsessed over and now he was giving it to me! If I really was one of those corny girls I would perhaps have fainted! But all I did was stare up at him in wonder.

"I – I don't know what to say," I said honestly. For this was the most thoughtful, sweetest, and downright romantic gesture that I have ever experienced. Noticing my inner turmoil, he pulled me closer and spoke softly in my ear.

"Say you love me. Say you shall never leave me, and I shall forever love you," He said as his hands came up to caress each side of my face. I couldn't help the growing smile on me as I just decided to jump on my toes, wound my arms around his neck and give him the most passionate kiss I could muster. He didn't argue as he returned the kiss with fever.

He teleported us to the Master bedroom, where he treated me like the Queen he believed I was. Although I wasn't sure I was ready for that roll yet, he reassured me that everything was going to be fine; as long as we stick together.

It had been a week later when a Gargoyle came with a message from the Council. They wanted to hear all about my scuffles in New York as well as press Dracula to bringing me to them so that I could be officially crowned as Queen. It annoyed him to no end on how his own kind were acting like spoiled children with a new toy. Well, let's just hope I'm not the toy, because I won't stand for it! But, he did say that I had to learn how to fly as well as get used to my own Hell Beast form! Oh, boy! My first time transforming was… fun!

"How the Hell am I supposed to fly if I don't have a clue on 'changing' my body into a giant bat?" I growled as the Count and I lounged in an open area of the castle. It was for the best since even he didn't know how I would react to the change. He said I was more powerful than the last brides he had, but we didn't know how much.

"Complaining about it will not help you master the art of transforming either," He scolded me rather coolly, but kept his voice light and instructive. "Come now, my dear. Tis not as difficult as it sounds. What you must do first; is relax."

I sighed but pushed myself off the wall I was leaning against and stood before him. Closing my eyes, I took a deep breath and began to relax my muscles and my mind.

"Good," He replied as her aura rested comfortably in her body. It was an impressive amount of energy she contained within her, and he praised her control. But – of course if someone were to foolishly upset her, than he would have a slim chance at stopping her! Though he knew he could stop her, he would have to suffer a few of her attacks to do so, and right now he did not. Not now when she was making progress to her first transformation as a vampiress! "Focus, my dear. Focus on yourself. Feel yourself come alive like never before. Nothing is holding you down. Not even your flesh. Relax. Concentrate. And then – let go!"

Though I hardly understood his reasoning, it felt like he was making sense. Feeling my own energy stir and come alive, I mentally commanded it to aid me in changing my looks. I imagined my skin as being as pail as the moon. With wings like the Count's – only a bit smaller to suit my needs. I felt it then. Tingles all over my skin and back! Like that annoying sensation from your foot after it falls asleep. Taking my final deep breath in, I let it out and felt something grow out of my shoulders.

When I peeked open one of my eyes at Dracula, I saw how he was looking at me. His smile spoke volumes but his eyes shined with wonder as they took me in. Deciding to stop feeling coy, I looked at myself and nearly jumped. Besides looking like a partly naked woman with silvery white skin, I turned to my back and gasp at my new pair of wings! "Houdini, eat your heart out!" I muttered and smirked as I saw how my hands and feet appeared more monstrous; complete with sharp claws.

"Well done, Carolyn," Dracula grinned at me as he circled me once, still getting a kick out of my new, nude-like form no doubt! "Though I doubt your wings can handle true flight yet, I will show you how to hover."

"Hover! Okay! Ya, sure! Why not!" I breathed out, for I was still getting used to this transforming thing.

"Calm down, my dear," He approached me and rubbed my shoulders to encourage me and then kissed my forehead. "You're doing fine. Now. Lift up your wings." As he said this, he raised his arms to jester for my wings to follow suit. I did and it wasn't that hard to move them! They were just as a part of me a much as my arms and legs were. "Good. Now, flap them down. Hard."

With a loud slap to the ground, my wings went down, creating their own wind currents, but only for a second. "Again." Dracula instructed and I did. "Faster, Carolyn! Harder! Faster!"

Gritting my teeth I forced my wings to flap up and down like a bird making a mad dance to fly; but just couldn't yet. My wings made dust and kick up everywhere, as well as make the Count's cloak dance a bit from the sudden, self-made winds. "Now jump!" He ordered and I did. I didn't know how hard I could jump for I almost bashed my head against the stone ceiling! To think I had it tough with just a fucking coat glider! Now I was trying to stay in the air with a brand new set of vampire wings! Hovering wasn't as easy as it sounded, for I was starting to get winded with just being up in the air for a minute, before I came crashing down. Luckily, I landed like a cat; on my hands and feet, as I tried to steady my anxiety along with my mind.

"That was awesome!" I quickly rasped out as my wings slumped on either side of me, already feeling the burn from the exercise.

"Give yourself time, my dear," Dracula smiled gently at me as he rubbed my shoulders, to help me relax a bit more. "After all, you do not earn the tittle as Queen in one night."

"Oh joy," I rolled my eyes and then frowned at him. "And yet you earned the title as King in one night!"

"Those times were different, my C," He pointed out with a low huff, but smirked as I continued to pout. "Come. Let us retire for the evening. It will do you a great deal to rest."

"Ya sure. Oh! How do I transform back?"

It took another four days before I could truly master my other form. After that, I was flying circles around the castle like a pro! Dracula was also pleased and so declared that we would leave for Tibet the following night. The journey went a lot more smoothly too. That and I would speed past Dracula as if it were a race. To find out that I was faster than him had irritated him to no end, and I loved it! We took the same rout as last time; only we bypassed that little motel that was run by a Warlock and went straight to Tajikistan. The old Wyvern; Demetry, was more than happy to welcome us back. I even received his bone crushing hugs when he found that I had become a true vampire. Good thing my healing abilities had also improved! Staying the day there was wonderful, but as the next day came and went, Dracula pressed how we needed to reach the Mountain now. After saying our farewells, we flew off and made it to the old place in record time.

I was received a Welcoming ceremony before my Coronation. The Council; along with Dracula's few friends (not to mention those five pesky brides from the French Duke), gave me gifts of all sorts. I especially liked the feathery black cloak that hung from my shoulders. With all this glamor one would think I've inherited Lady Gaga's closet! But, since I was picky, I only wore the more 'appropriate' outfits. Well, appropriate for me.

The next day, there wasn't a single vampire or ghoul that wasn't at the Coronation. I was wearing this huge and flurry gown (though I tried to downgrade it) as the Count had presented me to the Council and the rest of the inhabitance of the undead. It was a long and trying process, but after the Council asked me that I would use every ounce of power in protecting our people from harm, rather it be from the mortals or other forms of danger. I replied "I will" and then I was received a small crown on top of my head as an extra throne appeared next to Dracula's.

"Council! Friends of old and new!" Dracula announced as he pulled me with him to the two thrones. If my heart was still alive it would have been beating like a war drum! Turning us around to face the room full of our undead subjects, he held my hand out with his and declared; "I give to you – MY QUEEN!"

Cheers and roars of applause followed after and though I felt nervous as Hell, I smiled anyway and bowed my head some at the crowed. After that a grand feast was made and I was sitting next to my King along with all the other high nobles of the court. The night seemed to have gone on forever, until I started feeling exhausted. Dracula, seeing my eagerness for rest, decided to call it a day for us and bid the Council a good evening. Thank God! Or – is it thank the Devil now that I'm not all human anymore. Oh, well. I never resented God or his angels so I think I'll stick to the former expression of relief.

"Aaah! Praise the Lord," I breathed out as I fell on my back on our king sized bed. After all the excitement, I was ready to sleep for two days!

"You did well, my darling C," Dracula smiled as he sat beside me and then leaned down to give me a kiss on the lips. "Come. Your coffin has been prepared, and you need to rest inside it for a few more months until your body leans to adjust to its new power."

Nodding in understanding, I let him pull me to my feet and lead me over to the two coffins that lay side by side. Since the soil of my birthplace was in New York, Ranfield took no time in retrieving it for the coffins in both Castle Dracula and the Mountain of the Council. Although I would have to get used to the ice that covered me while I slept, at least I didn't have to worry about being cold or catching frost bit!

We spent a whole two weeks at the Mountain, before Dracula was eager to return back to his homelands. Our return trip was a lot more comfortable too. No Hunters shooting at us from the sky and only a few stops for rest. After we returned, the days seemed to zoom by. Sure I had my many hot moments with the Count yet that didn't stop the times. Yet, a couple of months after our return, Dracula decided he was going to take me to France. Not that I had any complaints about visiting my inheritance, but it sure was suspicious. When I found out the reason of 'why' he did it, it nearly blew my mind away.

It started when we took a stroll around Paris. The place was gorgeous at night! Lights decorating the land and the smells form nearby restaurants made my stomach moan and my mouth water. But Dracula insisted he had a special place in mind for our first night here. Though I couldn't imagine why, it was when he asked me to close my eyes that I was now more than a little suspicious.

"Why do I have to close my eyes?" I asked as my silky cloak blew in the wind while I was smart enough to wear my black pants and a long sleeved blouse.

"You shall see," He smirked at me and then placed his pale hand over my eyes. When I sighed he added, "Humor me, my dear. I promise that you will not regret it."

"Alright," I breathed out tiredly and closed my eyes. Feeling his hand fall from my face, I then felt him holding both my hands and then leading me somewhere. Before I knew it, I felt the familiar rush of his teleporting, but the wind seemed to have picked up where we were at. "Can I open them now?" I asked coolly as he moved behind me.

"Not yet," He half chuckled as his hands moved to my shoulders and pushed me gently somewhere. When we stopped I felt his mouth at my ear telling me to, "You may open them now."

When I did, I was received with one of the more incredible sights that anyone of my age could witness. The city of Paris loomed below us, its dazzling lights glittered like jewels on the surface of the world as Dracula and I stood at the very top of the Eiffel Tower!

"Oh, wow!" I breathed out and Dracula lightly chuckled behind me.

"There is more, my dear," He replied and I raised an eyebrow. What could possibly be more than seeing the 'City of Love' at this height!? I got my answer when a stream of colorful lights shot up around us and exploded in a flair. Fireworks! Though the last show of fireworks didn't go over so well for me, this had definitely made up for it. I was sooo shocked and overwhelmed that I had covered my gaping mouth with both hands and leaned next to my husband for support. When I turned to him with a questioning look, he only smiled at my reaction and held me tightly to his chest.

"Happy birthday, my dear Carolyn," He whispered in my ear and I almost cracked right there and then. Though I let a few bloody tears roll, because I was so damn distracted over the last year, I had totally forgotten about my birthday! Not that it mattered to me; for the last twenty years of my life, my birthday really didn't matter to me. But NOW! Oh, God! I think I AM going to faint! It was such a romantic gesture from him that I swooned in his arms without meaning to, but I held on to him as he pulled me back up while I was still trying to processes this! He kissed me as I returned it with gusto. Up here, surrounded by explosive colors in one of the most famous cities in the world, I felt more than a little spoiled.

Imagine! I was only a twenty five year old Emo chick; straight off the suburbs of Maine, and then I was whisked away to the world of Dracula all because I decided to save my friend and roomy from certain death. Now I was twenty six and a Queen and wife to the King of all Vampires! A Queen of the Damned! Who would have thought?

Well, after that, we returned to Romania and our home in the Carpathian Mountains. Both castles never looked so good, once I was done with them again. I was more than happy that Dracula had kept all my belongings where they were, and though I shared a bed with him, he would often see me swinging happily in my hammock. The donations of blood came monthly and the village was never happier about not having to burry someone around the same time. Wolfy kept a keen eye for danger; for we still had to find any more rebels like Cornwell, yet for the most part the days were wonderful!

Oh! And even that nutty Professor of inventions; Denise Doasen? Well, he finally finished that project he had been working on since I was away! That one about putting engine jets on an air balloon or blimp! Well, I don't know how he did it but he did! I didn't ask how or why, but was just overly excited when he asked me I could take it out for a spin! It was just as big and the basket that hung from it resembled that of a ship's deck. Light in a tan color and heavy on the gas, the armed blimp felt more like a roller-coaster without tracks!

I use it even now to help bring supplies to Castle Dracula and flying this baby over the snowy mountains was awesome! I even brought my old Zenith radio on board to listen to. Course, Denise had to be the piolet, he agreed that I would bring up some Dwergi to help him with anything. They didn't seem to mind the flight either, so long as the winds didn't make them nervous about flying off the deck.

As we flew over, my radio came alive with one of my favorite hits by Michael Jackson; Bad and I couldn't help but crank it up louder for myself and the rest of the crew to dance to. Though I never would have anticipated being a Queen of the Damned in the past; it sure didn't bother me now. Being Queen just rules!

As the song played out we danced until we hovered near Castle Dracula. I teleported then and continued my dance-run until the arms of that vampire wrapped around me and spun us slowly. Although we still have many unanswered questions to solve and problems to prevent; along with me mastering my new all-vamp powers, I never felt so complete in my life! And I wasn't alone to face them either. As long as the Count and I existed; the things that come to threaten our peaceful life WILL be dealt with! Even he knows, all old habits are hard to kill.

THE END? For now! ; D Oh, I am soooo glad to be done, because now I can start on a few 'other' stories as well! Book 3 will take some more time to line out and get into construction, but while everyone waits; I have a few surprise cross-overs involving my Dampire.

"Goodbye my friends,"* in French.

If you missed the fun and action you read while she was a Dampire, then I got more fun laid out! This first cross-over is a gift for my little sister. (LOVE YOU!) She has always loved the TV anime show of Case Closed. So I figured; why not let C come to Japan and join in on a big mystery next to the Little Detective? All sorts of Hell, hilarity, and mind puzzling problems to discover in THIS story! : D

Well, I thank you all for reading my stories and can't wait to see what you think of my latest idea! :D I have several more cross-overs in mind, but let's just take it one step at a time! REVIEW and REVIEW AND REVIEW! I'll see you later with more action and adventure in CASE CLOSED; THE AGE OLD GRUDGE! (Still a work in progress).

Love to all and Thanks again! BR2
