"Dancing with Demons"

Chapter 1

Dipper sat in her room reading Journal 3 and thinking about all the mysteries that had happened lately. About an hour later, someone burst through the door almost making Dipper pee in her pants. She dropped Journal 3, and yelled, "What the HECK, Bill! What are you doing here?" "Well," the demon replied, "I heard the dance was this Saturday, and i was wondering if you would like to come with me." Bill looks at the ground and starts to blush. Dipper looks at him with wide eyes. No, her thoughts said, No, i will not go. But, instead something, or someone, told her to say yes. "Yes," she replies. Bill looks up with surprise. "Really?" he asks. "Yes. How many times will I have to say it?" she says with a little sarcasm. Bill smiles. "I'll see you Saturday at 7:00 then." Then, he walks out the door.

As soon as Bill is out of the house, Mabel runs into Dipper's room squealing. "OMG!" Mabel yells. "Mabel, calm down!" Dipper yells. "Do you know what just happened!" Mabel screams. "He just asked you out!" Mabel suddenly gets wide eyes. "We've got so much to do before then! We have to get your outfit, makeup..." But, before Mabel could finish, Dipper interrupts her. "Calm down! You act like I just won the lotery! Chill, Mabel! It's not a big deal. So what if Bill asks me out?" she tells Mabel. Mabel looks at Dipper like she's crazy. "What do you mean 'It's not a big deal'!?" Mabel asks. "It's your first date!" "I can see why your saying that," Dipper says. Then, she blushes. "Do you think it would be bad if I may have a little crush on Bill?" Dipper asks Mabel. Mabel's mouth drops open. "Close your mouth Mabel!" Dipper says to her twin. "And don't you dare tell anyone!" Mabel shuts her mouth. "Thanks," Dipper says. "Can I have some time to think?" "Sure," Mabel says. Then she hurries out of the room. Then, when Mabel is gone, she lies on her bed, thinking of Bill for the rest of the day.
