GABRIELLA'S POV

"Mom, I don't want to!" I said to my mom. She was making me transfer schools because the all the boys on the basketball team wanted to bang me up. But there was one guys I was going to let do that to me because we were dating and, well, I loved him.

"Gabby, I'm not letting a bunch of guys take if advantage of my daughter so yes, you're going."

We'd been having this argument for the last 5 minutes on the car ride to East High High School in Albuquerque, AZ. I'll admit, I was a little scared but I'm smart and I thought I'd be able to manage myself. Boy, was I wrong.

We pulled up to the school and my mom stopped the car.

"You ready?" She asked me.

"Ready as I'll ever be, I guess..." I mumbled. I was NOT looking forward to this.

We we walked into the school and it felt like EVERYBODY was watching us. It was so creepy! They were all like, 'Ooh, who's dat?' and stuff. I looked down at the floor, not wanting to draw attention to myself. Bad idea. I walked straight into a blonde haired girl and her brother. They were dressed like movie stars. Like seriously NO ONE else dressed like that. Well, come to find out, they was Sharpay and Ryan Evans, the richest kids in school. This girl Taylor told me. I met her when my mom was filling out my paperwork for enrollment. And she invited me to join the Scholastic Decathlon Team! *SCORE* Oh and to sit with her at lunch. Yeap.

So at lunch, she introduced me to all her friends. First there was her boyfriend Chad Danforth,

"Sup?"

Martha Cox,

"Hi!"

Kelsi Nealson,

*Smile nod*

And a BUNCH more that I can't really remember! Ooh, that's bad. *Note to self, learn names* Then walked in the absolute cutest boy EVER and I knew I HAD to have him!

"Gabby, hello?, Gabby, are you even listening?" Taylor sighed.

"Oh, I'm sorry, what did you say?" I answered embarrassed.

Taylor rolled her eyes, "That," she pointed to the guy, "Is Troy Bolton, captain, of the basketball team."

"Hey," he said, then he went over and kissed (Oh, what's her name? Oh yeah, Kelsi) Kelsi for what seemed like the longest time, and when I realized they were dating, my face fell.
