I remembered it was Noh, and Zhen but that was all I remember. Actually, can you guys give me a brief summary of that battle? My memory's in a mess right now cuz of the fucking IGCSEs...

Chapter 7: Destroy the Dodurian!

"... Fuck! We gotta hurry!" Zhu Ran yelled as he looked at the timer that was constantly counting down towards their doom. He didn't even realized that the clock was there when they were battling the snake! Maybe because he was too freaked out about that that he didn't even realized his surroundings?

"Who's the fastest out of all of us?" Zhao Yun asked as everyone looked at Sterk who blinked before yelling, "W-wait-!? Me!?" He asked as he pointed towards himself, "Yeah, basically. You're one of the highest leveled character in our team so pretty much you don't have a choice but to run" explained Motochika as he jumped back only to disappear to thin air

"We're counting on you to run ok?" Shi said, smirking. Before the knight can actually respond, they all disappeared as they jumped back causing the former knight to curse to himself, "You guys owe me for this!" He yelled as he started running at an incredibly fast speed. He swore to the gods above, he would get his vengeance on them someday

The path ahead was quite empty as it showed nothing but passing houses and the almost destroyed land fields that's around them. There was practically nothing on the field

Village

Sterk stopped his tracks when he saw a terrifying scene before him. A broken village, filled with burning ashes, rubbles of houses, hunger and dying people. He heard his comrades jumped back into the battlefield as they all stared with their eyes wide open at the scene, "This... Is my doing...?" Orochi asked himself as he looked at the destruction in front of him

Zhao Yun patted his high shoulder as he said, "No, this is the demon's doing. You are free from their control and thus you are not the one to be blamed" he smiled as he said that, trying to cheer the former dragon up. It calmed his worry down to a certain extent, but it was still high, "As much as I want to stay and help them, the countdown is up and were in a really tight position" Motochika said before everything seemed to stop

Everyone took caution before they saw several items appeared. A storage house and a weapon house, they all relaxed slightly, "So this is our camp then?" Zhao Yun asked himself as he looked at the timer above to see it stopped at 09.31. He thanked good that it stopped, it seemed it's like the Conquest Mode's version DW8 where the time stopped when you're in the camp preparing for battle

"So what now? We have to hurry on to the battlefield to look for the Dodurian and somehow I can't smell the stench of it, even though it's smell was supposed have a radius of a 100 kilos" Shi said as everyone began to try and think of a way to find the fruit fast

"We have to destroy it or else the Invitation to Heaven will melt away and we have no way of going up and we'll never be able to find the book or even know a way to revert the effect of the spell" Motochika said as he looked up to the sky, it was ironically cloudless and blue

Even below the endless sky, people still suffers from Orochi's demonic army. Zhu Ran sighed as he sat down in the ground, muttering, "If the Toriko's can't find any traces then we won't be getting a m-" he stopped his sentenced as he noticed something on the earth. He changed his position to a kneeling one as everyone was looking at him oddly, "What is it?" Sterk asked as the pyro could only blink his eyes, "I think... I just found ourselves a clue..." He said

Everyone immediately kneeled down as they began inspecting the earth that caught his attention. Motochika carefully scanned it with his sharp eyes before gently touching it and felt a bump. He puts his nose on it as he took a short sniff before quickly pulling back before looking at the earth disgustedly, "Y-yep... T-that's t-the Do-Dodurian's s-s-smell..." He wheezed out as Orochi and Sima Shi also took a sniff before trying to hold into their puke

"Is... I-is it me? O-or is the s-smell e-even w-worse than b-before?" Shi asked as Orochi nodded, "A-aye... W-we need t-to des-destroy t-this f-fast..." Everyone could only gulp as the three Toriko's writhed in agony of the smell

Sun Ce's camp

"Ce! You must be careful on this battle, our opponent is Lu Xun after all! Not to mention they have Ling Tong, Gan Ning and Sakon in their ranks" The handsome man wearing red said as his lord just laughed it up, "Come on, Zhou Yu! It'll be fun testing their strength! Just think of this as a mock battle and you'll be fine!" Sun Ce chuckled as his friend just sighed dramatically

He had heard some bad news from the scouts, as this Black Parade group was on the loose to look for battle as they see fit. Rumor has it that their warriors were as strong as Lu Bu himself! Managing to defeat a large army single handedly! If they side up with the Resistance, well...

Zhou Yu had conflicts on that matter as it'll boost the morale of the Resistance and they may be able to defeat Orochi but they were the ones to face them. Former comrades and the like. He had to fulfill his duty to serve Sun Ce whom his father, Sun Jian, who was currently in prison.

As much as he would want to face Orochi and kill him himself, he didn't had the power to do so and he also have beloved ones captured in his prison. He deeply worried for his precious and most beloved Xiao Qiao, and the rest of the women who were captured as they were sent to Dong Zhuo's castle in Xi Liang

He vowed to himself that once they have the opportunity, they will strike back at the Orochi Army for the humiliating defeat that they've suffered from them. One way or another!

"My lords!" A messenger came up to them as Zhou Yu looked at him as he asked, "What's wrong?" He had a bad feeling of what would happen next. His fears were confirmed by the messenger, but the first message didn't even compare to the second, even worse was the third, "A fire attack unit has been spotted near the northeastern base! And western units had reported seeing unusual plants that are growing there and are spreading like weeds! Our unit in the eastern base are also reporting that the Black Parade has joined the battle and is advancing west!"

Three bad news in such a short time? He's getting old if he's that surprised, but he must be then because his eyes widened in surprised at the last message. The Demon army were all ordered that if they saw the Black Parade, they would either capture or kill them. The latter was more prominent to them as they desire destruction more

"Send out a troop to ambush the fire attack unit, stay away from the growing plants at once! And sen-" , "Zhou Yu, Ranmaru and I will head for the Black Parade!" He ordered until he was cut off by Sun Ce as the messager saluted him before rushing to the battlefield to give out orders. The handsome strategist could only blinked as he looked at his friend

"S-Sun Ce! What are you thinking!?" Zhou Yu asked to him as the Little Conquerer called pretty boy to his side, "Relax, is just to test out their strengths! I wanna know just how strong they really are!" He replied happily before nodding to the boy, "We are facing the Black Parade? I've heard of them... Their warriors were said to even rival the war demon Lu Bu" Ranmaru said as Zhou Yu just sighed

'Still...' He thought, '... These strange plants are in the western base, but oddly enough the Black Parade is also going to that area... Coincidence?' He closed his eyes for a second before shaking his head, 'It's not' , "Sun Ce, bring as many people as you can. I have a plan"

Back at Home

"Everyone heard him?" Nikky asked monotonously at the female warriors behind her. They all nodded. The young girl could feel that the male warriors were stepping away from them as their dark aura just grew in size.

Taigong Wang carefully stepped back so he won't make a sound, followed by the other male warriors as they wanted to try and run away from them

"Kill that pig?" They heard Lu Lingqi asked, everyone (except for the guys who looked rather scared shitless now) smirked, "Fuck yeah..."

Cao Pi gulped. Their original plan of going to Heaven first went down the drain when all of the female fatale swore vengeance to save their kind and kill Dong Zhuo, 'And this is why women are terrifying... And has been called the gates to hell...' He thought as he went inside one of the guest rooms where Lu Xun was being healed.

Sadly enough, they didn't have the technology needed to fully heal him as most of them were in the hospital back in the other world. They only had a first aid kit and natural medicine that Shennong grew himself using his mystical powers

He looked like he was still asleep, completely oblivious to life as he just laid on his side. His crimson wings were really huge and they shone in the dark too, creating firefly-like little bundle of light in the dark.

"How is he?" A voice from behind asked as he looked back to see Raiden, "He'll be alright soon, around three or four more days then he'll be back on his feet but he has to rest for another week for him to fully heal" he explained as the cyborg nodded in response

"I see... So~" Raiden tried to lightened up the mood, "So what? That infiltration the Sky Castle will have to be delayed because of the fury of these female warriors?" He asked. The cyborg contained his laughter but snorted, "I was going to ask when, but looks like we have no choice but to go to Xi Liang and free them" Cao Pi could only nod

"Indeed, if I'm not mistaken... Nō, Zhen and another woman, I forgot who, will enter the battlefield and free the rest of the beauties there. Still, they are woman and we are men. We'll never understand the complexity of their brains" Riaden laughed at this, "You know what they say... 'Men came from Mars and women came from Venus'"

Back with Team

Zhu Ran shivered greatly as he looked up the sky, he sensed that there was a dark aura coming from the HQ. That was possible right? I mean, there's no way Orochi's army founded their base so fast! Not to mention that the dark aura felt much more sinister than even Orochi himself, still though...

He couldn't help but shiver and think they're gonna be put out of place, "Did you find the source yet?" Zhao Yun asked to the trio Toriko, they shook their heads, "But we are getting nearer, unfortunately enough we have to go through Chang Ban and interrupt the flow of battle slightly" Shi replied, groaning at the smell that's stuck in his nose

Zhao Yun looked up to the sky to see the timer, it was tight because of the previous battle. He sighed quietly

"Oh... We need to hurry up" Zhao Yun said as everyone just looked at him like they were saying "Don't fucking remind us when we already know idiot" face on, "Work Toriko! You practically have three noses right now!" Sterk yelled. The trio Okiayu group glared at him before continuing on their search. They managed to find the scent, but oddly enough it was underground

'Oh and also, in a cutscene that appeared few minutes ago showed us some odd looking... Plants growing near the western base. Maybe that's where the Dodurian Bomb is?' Yukimura asked as everyone in the team stopped moving before blinking and looking up the sky like the he was there, "Now you fucking tell us!?" They all yelled except for Zhao Yun who just sighed as they all heard awkward laughs in their heads

"Everyone, to the west before time runs out!" Everyone except for Sterk disappeared as he began running frantically towards the western base. He ran as fast as he can, and was almost shoot down by an arrow from the Resistance Army. Missing his face just by inches as he moved side ways, 'Ambush? No...' He thought, sneaking past the fighting army, 'Accident' he thought before resuming his sprint

As soon as he reached halfway through the battlefield, he began to notice that the scenery was quite different as it was completely covered in vines. Trees, the ground, the buildingd, even the weapons that stuck out were all covered in them, it was like a forest. He blinked before cautiously taking step forward, expecting the unexpected. He began to walk from there due to the densely covered part of the battlefield

As he was getting deeper into the jungle, he stopped his tracks as he covered his nose at the wretched stench that lingers in the air, 'Yep... Definitely getting closer... I can never forget the smell...' Orochi grumbled as Motochika and Sima Shi only cringed in respond

As they finally arrived at the base, Sterk could only widened his eyes at the sheer size of the plant. The stalk was around 50 meters high with the radius of 10 meters. What was hanging on it was a single large yellow and sharp fruit

'OH- I CANT BR- AHAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE FACE IS- OH FUCKING HELL! MY STOMACH!' Laughed a voice inside, Sterk instantly knew who it was or more precisely: they were, 'Now's not the time to laugh at my hideous face, everyone! We have to-!' Sterk pinched his nose as the Dodurian just farted and sent him a terrible stench down

"I can't take it anymore!" Yelled a soldier as he ran away from his hiding spot. Sterk instantly gripped his swords as around a hundred soldiers were holding onto their swords and noses. He also knew three officers that looked rather familiar, but were all covering their faces with a single piece of white cloth

"Sun Ce, Zhou Yu and Ranmaru" He mumbled as the former laughed, "So you're one of the Black Parade? I always wanted to fight against you since you made yourselves pretty well known. Though I never thought this... Thing would be hanging around here" The young tiger mused as he looked up to see the fruit hanging happily

"So what do you want? We're in a hurry actually" the knight said as Zhou Yu gave him a look, "Forgive us but we were told to capture you when you appear so we have to choice in that matter" he replied and readied his stance

Sterk took a careful breath as he released his nose, grabbed a handkerchief from inside his pocket and snapped his fingers causing the team to appear out of nowhere. Everyone gasped when they saw Orochi was with them

"That is the imposter Orochi?" Ranmaru asked himself as he gulped but did not retreat his stance. Everyone gulped rather loudly when they saw the imposter Orochi while he readied his scythe, the same ones for everyone as they readied their weapons and cloth, "Come mighty warriors, and face us if you dare"

In Koshi Castle

"'The Black Parade will rain among those who held the truth, and will shine upon them who has lies'? Is t it supposed to be the opposite?" Liu Bei asked as Zhuge Liang thought about it. It doesn't seem right, it also sounded wrong in his ears... Unless there's a hidden meaning

Rain upon those who held the truth...

What's so good about rainy days? They bring depression and floods. Of course, it all depends on the people. Some areas, rain brings happiness. Crops will be watered and food will be given out to them.

They can also be a source for drinking water to these who really needs them the most. Rain could also wash away all of the lies that- wait a second...

Washing away lies that could reveal the truth?

'Was this what they were trying to say?' Zhuge Liang asked himself as he thought of he next one

Shine upon them who has lies...

This part, he admit, was quite hard to encrypt. Sunlight brings happiness to all, and it's the only thing that makes everyone, friend or foe, loves and enjoy.

For some reason, his mind drifted to the concept of Yin and Yang. His strategic guts was telling him that it was an important clue...

Yin cannot exist without Yang as they were both light and dark. They can't exist without one another, but sometimes destiny has different plans. Heaven and Hell both coexist with one another and they sometime had to fight each other

The Shu strategist blinked at the sudden though. Light and dark must fight with one another someday... If he applied the same way he answered the first one then it would be:

So if he combined both of them together it would be:

We will wash away all of your lies to reveal the truth behind the curtains and send the puppeteer into the eight realms of hell

"Very interesting..." He said out loud, catching the attention of both lords, "Did you find the real meaning of the phrase?" The Wu emperor asked, "Indeed, it seemed that I was right that this organization is a third party as they have no interest in our war" he mused as he began explaining the meaning

"They seem to be intent on exposing a certain truth that we do not know of and destroy the master that's been controlling these events from the shadows. That means, Orochi is not our main threat" both lords widened their eyes

"Orochi is not a threat!? You mean, what you're saying is that he-!" , "-is indeed a toy for the master's own illusion..." Finished off Liu Bei as the Shu strategist nodded his head, "This enemy that the Black Parade is looking for must be much stronger and more intelligent than Orochi himself... Maybe that this puppeteer is the one who organized all of this events altogether"

Zhuge Liang couldn't help but agree with them. The Black Parade was indeed the truthseekers for them all, and were trying their best to expose a truth they didn't knew all along. Maybe it was right on the tip pf their tounge but they could not say it at all. He could not predict what will be their next move but he knew and if he wasn't mistaking-, 'Somewhere in the near future, I guess'

Back with Zhou Yu

'They... Are holding back?' Wondered Zhou Yu as he analyzed the group of right in front of them. So far, they didn't kill a single life of their men and only knocked them all. A different story was heard from another battle, however, when a metallic armored man went crazy for blood and killed off almost everyone in sight and also when they first arrived.

The latter however, was less bloodier than the former because they seemed to only kill all of the demons and not humans which was an odd thing. Even the imposter Orochi was sparring their lives by making them fall asleep into dreams. He could tell those were dreams because he saw the smiles on their faces

He needed to discuss the matter in hand with the Sleeping Dragon as he too was enslaved by Orochi's men. He may have a long rivalry against the dragon, but no was not the time to be childish and cooperation was the only way to get them all out of the mess they found themselves in. He looked at the situation in hand.

Sun Ce in a deadlock with the Orochi imposter and a man who had a baby face but a has really deep voice, Ranmaru fighting a musician that, he described, oddly looked familiar to a certain shamisen player and a bow wielder. He himself was fighting someone who had a rather long sword and a spearman that eerily looked familiar

"Why are you holding back?" The Wu strategist half asked, half demanded. He wanted to know why they appear and get didn't participate in the war between the Resistance and the Demon army. He saw the sword wielder narrowed his eyes

"It's because we have our own plans that we need to achieve, and we need Orochi alive for that single reason" he explained as the strategist gave them a fiery glare. So then they're in their side? But he didn't understand. First they were in the Resistance's side because the freed Zhao Yun from his prison yet now they're switching sides

"So you are in the Orochi army?" He asked, the spearman waved the words off, "We are in neither. We are our own army" the earth suddenly shook as the warriors braced themselves

'Whats going on!?' Ranmaru thought as he saw the ground was growing weed-like plants. He quickly looked at the Black Parade who had horrified expressions as they all looked up. Yes, even the Orochi imposter.

"What's going- what the hell is that!?" Sun Ce asked no one as he looked at the bouncing yellow but sharp object at the top of the large green stalk

"HOLY SHIT! THE DODURIAN'S GONNA DROP!" Yelled out the the musician as the bow wielder began running around with his hands on his hair trying to rip them out because of stress

"WE'RE GONNA DIE! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" He yelled out, "SHUT THE HELL UP FIRE BOY! ALL WE NEED TO DO IS TO DESTROY THE SHITTY THING AND WE'll BE HOME FREE!" The man that had a deep voice tried to calmed down the "Fire Boy" as he dubbed him, but it was failing miserably

The Orochi Army had no idea what's going on but judging from their tone, they had to get out of there, "Oi! Everyone from the Wu army!" Sun Ce, Ranmaru and Zhou Yu turned their attention to the calmest person on the group, which was the spearman as he pointed up

"I'm afraid our battle has to end here for a while, anyway you all should go before we all die here together. Orochi?" Sun Ce didn't know what was going on until he blinked, only to see he was back in his camp together with the rest of the ambush troops

"Teleportation?" Ranmaru mused as he looked at where they were, "But I do have to wonder, what exactly are they doing there if they know we're going to die if we stay there?"

With the gang

"WE'RE GONNA DIE! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!" Cried our the poor pyro as he kept on running around. Everyone was panicking as they all looked at the clock

"THIRTY FUCKING SECONDS!?" Yelled out Shi as Motochika gulped, "We gotta find a quick way to destroy the thing... But what!?" Orochi thought as he tried to think of a plan

He could only use their powers from Toriko, but sadly, eating it ain't an option as it was too high and too big for all of them. Destroy it to bits and pieces? That would just spread the smell and destroy the Invitation to Heaven... Only one thing to do

"Zhao Yun! Use the plants to make a chamber as small and thick as possible to prevent the smell from escaping!" He ordered the reviver to do. Everyone looked at the Serpent King like he was crazy

"Are you fucking mad!? If he created a dome now, the gonna trap all of us in it!" Sterk asked him as he sent the snake his infamous glare, "Look at the timer"

"Oh crap!" Without further a do, Zhao Yun immediately grabbed several seeds as he spreads them around before they started growing at an incredibly fast speed and surrounded them

The Dodurain began to shake violently as everyone gasped in horror, "Hurry up!" They all yelled as the weeds began to make themselves thicker
