Chapter 9: Enter Hei Meigui!

"Nikky, do you hear me?" We heard a voice from the speaker. It's one of the scouts. Zhu Ran!

But I never thought we'd get some info this fast though, "We read, what did you find?" Wen Yang instantly said to the microphone.

We finally managed to get the the headphones and microphone off of me, which is a real relief! It did, however, transformed into a really big speaker and microphone attaches to the tv and my Playstation but oh well, at least my burden is lifting.

The pyro was silent for a while, which caused me some insecurities about stuff but he spoke, "The girls are fighting right now, right? Well, I happen to be nearby and I uh... Found someone worth mentioning."

"And that person is-?" Raiden asked, wanting to know who was the one worth mentioning

We heard Zhu Ran gulped as the screen showed him hiding far, far away from the figure behind a tree.

"First of all, I'm still smelly from the last mission but I managed to get a telescope from a merchant cuz I saved him from the demons. I can't help but think I've seen her somewhere too..." He reported.

Looking through the telescope, the POV changed into a first person view. It stayed still and showed nothing but grass.

"I think you're supposed to move the analog," Raiden said. I moved the analog and it also moved. Frick. I so stupid. Why me no use brain?

I moved the telescope around until I saw the "someone that's worth mentioning" and holy crap... I seriously know her...

I instantly recognized the beautiful woman from anywhere... Pale, porcelain skin with a red, Phoenix tattoo on the right side of her face, hair as white as snow, dark princess hairstyle with a right braided hair, eyes bloody red with the most piercing expression, lips covered in black lipstick, black maiden arm warmers, black and red heavens top and bottoms, and black and gold vamp boots.

Weapon is... She's actually holding three weapons! A cross pike on her back, a pair of flying daggers on her hips and her current equipped weapon is a dual sword that can be combined together. Body type: really, really voluptuous with big boobs and a big ass.

Around 5000 troops, they followed her like a god. They were, however, females. All of them are, using the black Knight set with different but common weapons such as the sword, the bow, etc.

She even has her own banner. A black banner with a sharp, triangular, rigid edge in the bottom and tiger-like design, each facing the different way. A white square in the middle to one two black dragons dancing together.

She was on a horse, probably slightly smaller than Red Hare but still bigger than most horses. Muscular, black in color, red mane and tail and probably super aggressive and named Infestus. Yep, no doubt about it.

"Do you know who she is?" Nobuyuki asked me. I nodded my head, feeling the sweat running down the side of my face.

"Yep. She's my edit character. Hei Meigui," I said gulping.

"Wait... What!?" Everyone yelled instantly as they looked at me with wide eyes.

"H-how-!? You didn't play DW8:E!" Wen Yang said to me as I just scratched my head, laughing awkwardly.

"Ehehehe... I did, actually. The Playstation downloaded the game and I played it while you guys were asleep so-,"

"-you pulled an all-nighter and play the goddamned game without any sleep," Raiden said, finishing my sentence as I laughed awkwardly before nodding my head.

"I see, but why is she holding three weapons?" Susano'o asked. I myself don't know but I could just guest.

"I dunno, but I did three scenarios and finished them all but with different weapons. I think it's because of that she has three weapons," I said, wondering if that's the correct answer or not.

Cao Pi sighed, "So you finished them, big deal but what are her Way-of-Life's are? You said you finished three," he asked me.

I tried to remember them. The first one was pretty low, I think, "I think the first play-through was pretty low, actually. Nothing too special so I didn't pay that much attention to the first but I think it was Bold and Brave. Second play-through was King of Hanzhong," I said.

"Seems pretty reasonable, since most of the time she has us attacking carelessly," Nemea said to me as I just stuck my tongue at him. I sensed the sarcasm in his tone ok?

"The third one is the easiest to remember because it was the longest! I remember I reached the tier... Seductive Beauty before Unrecognized Strategist," I said, though I dunno why everyone looked at me like I grew a second head or something.

"Say what now little fudge?" Cao Pi asked, I blinked my eyes.

"I reached Seductive Beauty?" I asked.

"No! The one after!" He demanded of me. I blinked one, then twice.

"Unrecognized Strategist? Then again, after I reached that I got Great Authority and then All Encompassing."

I really wished that I had a camera then because everyone, except for Raiden, seemed to know what's going on and they were pretty shocked with their mouths opened wide.

"She's surpassed a level my father has!?" We heard Sima Shi said through the speaker.

"So basically you did five assassinations, five infiltrations, five raids, five exterminations, win 30 invasions, successfully defended your territory 20 times, negotiate 10 diplomatic treaties, have five male officers confessed their love to you, be asked to join another kingdom or form a vagabond unit five times, have your opinion adopted for five times during a council, scout people for three times, start rumors three times, successfully recruit people for five times, make five alliances with other kingdoms, invite people five times, alienate three kingdoms, rebel against your ruler after you became either a Strategist or a Marshal, achieve the highest virtue, achieve the lowest virtue, transfer kingdoms five times, spends five years as a free officer, and spends 30 or more years to finally conquer all of China?" Zhao Yun asked, though I heard he had a little bit of sarcasm in that voice of his. I didn't even knew he could memorize them all...

I nodded my head. I think everyone was not expecting I got that, then again it was pretty hard getting all of that in a single play-through. I played like a total four days if I combine everything. Hah, good times, good times.

"And here I thought she'd get either Virtuous Saint or Mighty Warriors. Or to have the patience to wait 30 years," Yukimura said in shock, I just smiled with my thumb up.

"Don't underestimate the brains I have! Even though I'm more of an offensive type of character but oh well!" I looked at the screen once more when Meigui was riding her horse. It was like she was waiting for something to happen... But what?

"What's she doing?" Susano'o tried to analyze the situation she was in. He saw her face was grim with worry, looking left then right.

"I think she's waiting for something," he hypothesized. Indeed it was like she was waiting for something to happen.

It seemed that she was ordering her troops to build something. An... An altar? Dunno what's that supposed to be but she also sent some of her troops to different locations and had them hiding there...

What are you doing, Meigui? You may be my edit character but I made your mind to parallel with the greatest mind and your body to best even the strongest warrior the world has ever seen.

The screen was once again replaced by the current battle. I looked at the right side of the screen. We won. We won against Aveline, though. Not the whole battle. Thought it seemed someone screwed it up as they were fighting the Demon Army separately. They seem to be having a hard time. Well, it was Ultimate mode. It'll take at least 10 hits for a normal soldier to die and even fewer hits for us to die!

Hold on... Why were everyone fighting? The trapped soldiers managed to get out but they're also fighting against the Demon Army, but they got themselves captured once again. Hold on again, weren't there less enemies before!?

"Wait a freaking second! How do you get back to the screen before?" I asked myself, twiddling through the controller. I pressed the Start button. Nothing happened. I pressed the Select button.

It showed a window of all screens where they were playing and I can move the cursor to pick either one. There was another screen, however, it showed Daji grinning. Her background seemed somewhat familiar though...

"Oh shit, the girls are completely surrounded!" Cao Pi said, pointing the the screen as we saw the Demons were surrounding the girls just outside of the battlefield.

Oh fuck me in the bumhole...

With the girls

"We're surrounded," Aveline said, scanning the situation as she tried to look for a way out. Nope. Nothing. No holes in the enemy's formation.

"As expected of Daji, using dirty tricks like this. We need to find a way out," Ginchiyo said, readying her sword as the Demon Army approaches them.

A chuckle was heard from the crowd as the demons cleared a path to see Daji, Lu Bu, and Sima Yi were walking towards them. A wicked grin was plastered on her face.

"We finally got you, Black Parade," Daji mused, looking at the group readying their weapons against her.

"A group of women? Hah! They must be foolish to send them to us," the male strategist chuckled, covering his face behind his fan.

Sophitia rose her eyebrow. His voice was much... Much higher than she expected of him. She remembered that his voice was deeper when she first met him in the future.

"I heard that they were strong enough to take an entire army, but they were men. Not women."

Lu Lingqi gripped her weapon. She couldn't help but glance at her father, her hands on her weapon tightly. Anger swelling inside of her, he thought that women were weak here! She'll prove him wrong, no... They will prove him wrong! They will not back down without a fight!

"So the fox showed herself, what do you want with us?" Rachel asked, glaring at the vixen.

"Simple, actually. It's either that you take us to your leader and have them serve us, or you die. If I were you, I'd take the first option. Not that you have that many," she chuckled evilly.

Tamamo-no-Mae couldn't help but twitch her eyes. Daji was annoying before but the one right in front of her was even worse than the one she knew.

She then noticed the sky was darkening with storm clouds. Above them was the gray sky. It was sunny before, not a single cloud in the sky so the weather was stable but what happened to the sky?

Ina prepared her hands to grab a few arrows, "Appreciate the offer but-" in a swift move, she took aim at a demon behind Daji as she killed him easily with her arrow, dodging the fox's face just inches before it pierced it's head.

Daji widened her eyes before narrowing them. She felt a trickle of blood on her cheek, she wiped it clean with her hand and smirked.

"Too bad... Everyone! Kill them!" She ordered as the Demon Army ran towards them. Ginchiyo readied her swords before she noticed a drop of water on his sword. She looked up.

'Rain?' She thought before the skies finally lets out a downpour. That didn't stop the army's advance, however, as they ignored the rain and readied their weapons at them.

"AAAAAAUUUGGGHHHH!"

Sims Yi widened his eyes as he looked behind to see a large amount of demons dead on the ground, burnt to the ground, "What the-!?"

A strike of lightning landed on another regiment of the Demon Army, killing them effectively before a tornado sucked the demons around, injuring them regardless of what was happening.

"What the-!? What's going on!?" Daji demanded an answer before another scream was heard.

Lu Bu immediately looked to the right where a new party was coming through. An army of women, forming a line as they push the Demon Army away to clear a path as a woman carrying three weapons appeared.

"Everyone! Withdraw to the northern area temporarily! Hurry!" She ordered the group.

Ginchiyo seemed hesitant before she looked at everyone. Taking in their eyes, they glanced at each other.

"We don't have a choice," Aveline said.

Ina and Lu Lingqi gripped their weapons but relaxed their posture.

They nodded. With everyone's agreement, Ginchiyo yelled, "Thanks! We owe you one! Everyone! Retreat!"

Everyone began to follow the Tachibana through the path that the Knights created for them. The woman stayed behind alongside her troops.

"Ugh! Another vermin!" Sima Yi cursed at the woman who just smirked at him.

"Sorry, but we can't stay here for much longer! Troops! Assemble!" She yelled, running away from enemy as her soldiers followed her faithfully.

"Ah! We can't let them get away when we already have them cornered! Get them! Dead or alive!" Daji ordered everyone as they began their chase.

Sima Yi ordered one of the demons to get him a horse, fast

"And what are you doing here!? I said everyone!" She said to Lu Bu when she saw Sima Yi mounted a horse and gave chase.

"I don't fight cowards who flees from battle," was his simple answer.

"But you'll never know how strong they are until you see them for yourself! Right!? Reports said that they are strong enough to kill off an entire army singlehandedly!" She yelled to him.

"It's just a waste of my time, they can go wherever they want to," he mounted his horse as he went the opposite direction of where the Black Parade retreated back. He really hated that voice of hers.

With the group

"So you're saying that the woman before is actually your edit character!?" Tamamo-no-Mae said to Nikky as she just chuckled.

"Sorry we didn't tell you before but you seemed busy so yeah! Her name is Hei Meigui, pretty suitable huh?" Nikky boasted, smiling from the screen.

"'Black Rose' huh? If I remember correctly, a black rose means death. A symbol of farewell and mourning," Ina stated.

"But a black rose doesn't just mean death. It also symbolizes a birth of a new beginning. Somehow, it fits well with our lovely little leader here," Sophitia commented, causing Nikky to laugh.

"Pretty much eh? That's why I make her clothes black and white hair and red eyes? Eh, in most character customization games, I'll always make my characters like that. Male or female."

"But how strong is she?" Rachel asked. Nikky paused as she tried to think.

"In the game there are two options for each right? For example, attack strength and an even more powerful attack strength. For her? I have her a powerful one, but her speed is low. By that I mean the even more powerful one, so she's basically the slowest character, but super strong," she explained.

"I see, so where exactly are we going again?" Joan asked, looking around the area.

They heard a clip-clopping sound of a horses' hooves, they looked back to see Meigui was riding her horse towards them.

"Are you alright?" She asked, stopping Infestus right in front of them.

"We're fine, thanks. But what about the Demon Army? We've escaped the battlefield but I have a feeling they won't stop no matter what. Even if we're in Camp Mode right now," Sophitia explained, looking back at the army that seemed to be closer than expected.

Meigui chuckled before looking up to see the girls were giving a signal or some sort. She nodded her head as she returned her gaze to them, "Leave it to me."

With Nikky and Gang

I watched in awe as the camp in the screen showed that I was controlling Meigui. Holy shit! I'm controlling Meigui!

"I have a feeling she'll be a valuable asset in the future," Nemea commented. I could only nod my head. Looking at Joan who had the red "start battle symbol" I paused as I looked at her stats.

Hei Meigui

Musou: 2000

Attack: 3000

Defense: 3000

"Holy shit! Here I thought Raiden is the strongest member of our team but Meigui is twice as strong as him!" Wen Yang said, staring at the screen in shock.

I could't help but stare too as she will be the strongest member of our team yet! Like holy fuck, she's twice as strong! But as I said, I sacrificed her speed for that much power so a horse or someone with a really high speed level like Raiden was essential.

Her weapons were also the four star classed weapons too... Oh crap. She was strong. Real strong.

I controlled her to talk to Joan. A dialogue was spoken. Oh, her voice was the exact same voice I inputed. The Calm 1, slightly deeper though, but I think it fits her more.

"So what are we going to do from this point on? Not to mention our bodies will now act like NPCs since you took control," Joan asked, I twiddled my fingers together as I listened to their conversation.

"I told you to leave it to me, but I do however, need your help to play the victim," I heard Meigui.

Everyone silently listened to her carefully, wanting to know her full potential for strategies and battle at the same time while a cutscene was shown to us

Cutscene

Meigui pulled out a map, and placed it on the floor where everyone kneeled down as well.

The map showed was a new map, the one we've never seen before. It was like a spiral where the road keeps on rotating until the middle at some point, but other than that, it was completely straight with a few bases here and there.

The elevation also varies, as I saw some ladders were in place and some siege weapons.

"I'll need you lure the enemy out here," she pointed to the middle area of the map where there it was the only way to escape from the battlefield

"We need to block this path so they wouldn't cause us any further," she explained, everyone looking at her.

"Just what kinds of strategies do you have?" Aveline asked.

Meigui just smirked, "Just know that it'll give you more time to escape."

A window appeared as it read:

Escaper from Liang Province!

Victory: Ginchiyo Tachibana, Sophitia, Lu Lingqi, Ina, Tamamo-no-Mae, Rachel, Aveline de Grandpré, Joan of Arc, and Hei Meigui reaches the escape point or defeat Sima Yi.

Defeat: either Ginchiyo Tachibana, Sophitia, Lu Lingqi, Ina, Tamamo-no-Mae, Rachel, Aveline de Grandpré, Joan of Arc, or Hei Meigui is defeated.

Difficulty: 20 stars

Condition to play: player controls Hei Meigui only

End of Cutscene

Oh crap, that seems... Hard, "Well fuck, if one of them is defeated then it's a lost battle. And there's a lot of conditions here too," I sighed, but as I say it, knowing that we'll receive more allies, it fills me up with determination.

"This is a battle of strategy, and it seemed Meigui has prepared several... I'm interested to see what kinds she has hidden inside her sleeves," Taigong Wang said. I couldn't help but agree more.

With the team

"So are we clear on where you are going?" Meigui asked, earning a nod from each and every girl.

"It is a sound plan, but will the enemy fall for it?" Aveline asked.

Meigui shook her head, "If it is repeated, but then again our enemy is Sima Yi. He'll know what's going on after the first or second strategy so we must be extremely careful. He will underestimate us because he still thinks that we are nothing but women," she explains, earning an odd look from Sophitia.

"Are women treated this differently in you countries? That's sexist," She asked, earning herself a nod from the woman in black.

"I completely agree with you. The first strategy will catch him off guard, but he'll suspect more will come and probably read through them all-," she paused before chuckling, "-so let's give them a taste of what the Black Parade can do."

"Understood!" Everyone said in unison before Meigui gave out the order.

"Move out!"

Next battle comes strategies... How I hate using my brain...
