Punk had to see her; why wasn't she in the clutches of Paul Heyman? Why was she free and most importantly, since when did she become GM of RAW? What made Jordyn not inform him of any of these things. He was her husband and the thought that she didn't inform him with these things hurt him. Since Jordyn was now a free woman, from what he has seen, the first thing that he wanted to do was embrace Jordyn in a hug and tell her that everything was going to be okay. He walked the backstage area, walking to her office as he thought about the things that he wanted to say to Jordyn. He just hoped that he could put those words that he had thought about in his mind and say them vocally. When he made it to Jordyn's office, he found that someone was outside standing guard at her door. But, it wasn't just somebody, it was Jordyn's heavy or bodyguard, Big E Langston, also known as, one of the guys that will be helping Punk in the beat the clock challenge next week. Punk walked up the Big E, who looked back at him seriously.

"May I help you?" Big E asked Punk as soon as he made it by the door.

"E, I'm here to see Jordyn. Can I come in to talk to her?" Punk asked him, hoping that Big E would grant him access to Jordyn's office. Big E turned the knob to Jordyn's office and looked back at Punk.

"I'll tell her you're here and see what she wants." Big E said and then walked inside Jordyn's office. Jordyn was on the phone with what seemed to be a member of the board of directors. Jordyn paced around from the couch to the wall, while listening to whatever the person on the other line was telling her.

"I can tell you that if Punk indeed wins the beat the clock challenge next week that if Curtis Axel and Brock Lesner get involved in the Hell in a Cell match in the behalf of Ryback and Paul Heyman, that they will both be fired." Jordyn repeated what the board of directions would like her to do; she couldn't believe it! If Curtis or Brock get involved in the Hell in a Cell match, if Punk wins, they are both fired - out of the WWE and most importantly, out of her and Punk's lives. It was truly a blessing that could happen to her.

"Miss Brooks, CM Punk is outside and he wants a word with you. What do I do?" Big E asked as Jordyn turned his attention from a wall to Big E.

"Can I put you on hold?" Jordyn asked as the person on the other line said that it would be okay, if they could hold on for a moment. Jordyn placed her phone against her chest. "Phil's outside?" Jordyn whispered at Big E nervously. It was sad, Jordyn had no clue what she was going to say to Punk - her husband? After all these years, Punk has managed to keep Jordyn speechless.

"Yeah, he really wants to talk to you," Big E nodded. "I know, I'm just your bodyguard, but you can't hide from Punk forever. You need to confront him. Talk some issues out. I don't think that he's angry with you at all, he really wants to talk. So," Big E gave Jordyn a slight push, nothing too hard to hurt her. "Talk to him." a smile came up on his face.

"Alright." Jordyn chuckled. Big E was right, what did she have to be so afraid about? Jordyn took the phone from her chest and back to hear ear. "Hey, can I call you guys back? I have something to handle." she hung up after someone from the board of directors agreed that she could call them later.

"Hey."

Jordyn jumped off the floor a bit by the sound of a voice. It was Punk's voice. Jordyn turned around and put on a smile for him, a very welcoming smile. She placed her phone in the front pocket of her white blazer and wiped the sweat in her pants nervously. She then walked closer to Punk, who stood there, awaiting for permission to start speaking.

"Phil, how have things been?" Jordyn asked awkwardly. She didn't know how to approach these things. It has been a long while, since she and Punk have been in the same room as one another. It scared Jordyn, the fears of Punk being angry with her were coming back, haunting her mind.

"It should be me asking that to you. So, how have things been with you Jordyn?" Punk asked her, in a more stern tone of voice. All Punk wanted to do was embrace her in a hug, but was he allowed to hug his own boss? It sounded stupid, but something in the back of Punk's mind made him think that Jordyn was still in Paul's control; what if Jordyn was acting this way because of what Paul had said to her - whatever that was.

"I have been fine," Jordyn bit her bottom lip nervously. "The baby has been fine as well. I've been looking at paint samples for the room; when we get back to Chicago, we should begin to paint the room. We already have the crib, but I would love to start arranging things," Jordyn rambled on and grabbed the sample paper of the pink paints from the couch. "I was deciding on a baby pink or maybe a hot pink -" she said, showing Punk the two different pink sample paper, but Punk cut her off.

"How the hell are you not in the clutches of Paul Heyman?" Punk blurted out. He didn't mean to blurt it out, but it came out with no hesitation in his voice. "Mark and I lost at Battleground. Aren't you supposed to be with Paul and since when did you become RAW General Manager?" those were the two main questions that flooded Punk's mind; it was amazing seeing Jordyn free and doing so fine for herself.

Jordyn frowned and sat herself on the couch. "Paul let me go on the RAW after Battleground. I was shocked. I didn't think he was actually going to let me go and then Hunter wanted me to see me in his office and he gave me this job. There's nothing to it." she assured him and turned her head to the left side, avoiding eye contact with her husband.

Punk sat with her on the couch and used his left hand to touch Jordyn's chin, turning her back, so he could look at her in the eyes. "Why didn't you go to me when you got set free? I'm your husband. I should be informed of these things." he looked hurt and that's what broke Jordyn's heart and then, she started to tear up.

"Paul said that I was useless and that I was nothing more than Adam's baby sister. That I am only riding you coattails, just living because of your success. I thought Paul was spot on about these things. I wanted to prove him wrong; I wanted my revenge on him. I just wanted to prove to him that I know how to do things on my own. I didn't want you involved in my heat with Paul." Jordyn explained as tears streamed out of her eyes; Punk went in for a hug, embracing her, stroking her hair in the back of her head. Jordyn cried on his shoulder.

"Jordyn, I'm already involved in all of this. Now, you're involved in this and I think that you need me to help you get you out of this. Please, let me help you with that. Sweetheart, I hate to see you upset about this." Punk begged to her. Could she let him help him get her out of this mess? Jordyn looked up from crying on his shoulder.

"I want you to get out of this situation as well, Phil. We have been dealing with Paul Heyman for way too long now. This needs to end." Jordyn told him with seriousness in her voice.

"I know that this has to end and if we both have to do something about it, then we shall," Punk formed a smile on his face, and wiped the tear that was on Jordyn's cheek. "I don't want our marriage to fall apart because of this man. That's what he wants and we're not going to give him that."

"Hell no, we're not giving him that. Your team is going to have to win the beat the clock challenge next week on RAW and you have to make it Ryback and Paul Heyman versus you in a two-on-one handicap elimination match. Get Ryback out of the picture and you can have Paul Heyman to yourself. If Lesner or Axel get involved, they're fired." Jordyn plotted the plan with a smirk on her mouth.

"That's my girl." Punk went in for a kiss on her lips. It was their first kiss in a long while. He was happy that this conversation went better than expected.

"So, what happens if we lose the beat the clock challenge?"

Punk and Jordyn released the kiss and looked at Big E and The Undertaker. Jordyn didn't remember granting The Undertaker permission to enter her office - so, Big E is just letting anyone into her office, how lovely. Jordyn hadn't thought about the consequence if Punk's team lost. But if Punk's team lost, the exact same thing would happen to Big E and The Undertaker, if they interfered for Punk.

They will be fired immediately.

Oh, this could be bad, if Punk's team loses the beat the clock challenge and Jordyn and Punk talked. Seems like these two could be teaming up to do some punishment. Please, fave, follow and review. :)
