As Wesley slept, his dreams slowly twisted into nightmares fueled by Bokor's dark magic. He began to toss and turn as his mind filled with images reminding him of the past hours. He watched from a distance as two Vestal demons attacked him and Kim. From his vantage point, he was helpless to stop anything from happening. Suddenly, he was standing right next to one of the demons, the one who was now holding Kim. He heard her screaming; it made his skin crawl. Behind him he heard another person yelling out; it was himself, being held still by another demon. Wesley tried to do something, but found that he was unable to neither move nor speak. He had to watch powerlessly as history repeated itself time after time.
He jerked awake, sweating profusely. Looking around, the dim moonlight gave him some faint reminders that he was in his bedroom. It took him a while to orient himself to his surroundings. A faint humming sound resonated inside his head for a few minutes. He vigorously shook his head until it faded away. He was about to get up when he suddenly felt the need to go back to sleep. He had no idea that Bokor was still controlling his already weakened and vulnerable mind from another dimension. He fell back onto the bed and closed his heavy eyelids, again drifting to sleep and returning to the barrage of nightmares.
He stood in a room that had no walls. It stretched out infinitely in every direction. A single light hung overheard, yet illuminated the entire room. Looking to his left, he saw James a few yards away on his knees, bound and gagged. Looking to his right, he saw Matthew, also a few yards away and bound and gagged. They both struggled against the chains that held them prisoner, but nothing seemed to work. A tall figure stood next to Wesley. He had eerie eyes that glowed a sinister orange hue, and skin a deep crimson color. He gave Wesley a large dagger, silver in color with ancient looking markings around the hilt. Wesley gripped it tightly as he eyed Matthew and James.
"Do it," the figure said to him, pointing at Matthew.
Wesley slowly approached his older brother, who was frantically shaking his head as if to shout "STOP!". Wesley's whole demeanor was unlike his usual self. He moved plainly and almost seemed to hover towards Matthew. His walk was slow and dark. Reaching Matthew, he kneeled down next to him. He smiled evilly as Matthew's eyes begged him to reconsider his actions. Without much thought at all, Wesley pushed the dagger deep into Matthew's chest. He watched Matthew's eyes grow large, then slowly close as the life drained out of them. He withdrew the dagger and wiped the blood on Matthew's shirt.
The dark figure then pointed at James, giving Wesley the same order. Wesley moved slowly from Matthew's dead body to James, who struggled, although not as much as Matthew. His eyes locked with Wesley's. James looked at Wesley with what seemed to be a combination of concern and resentment. As Wesley pulled the dagger back, James closed his eyes and stopped resisting. His body jerked as Wesley drove the dagger into his chest. Wesley slowly pulled the blade out of James and watched his oldest brother slump to the ground, dead.
He looked back at the one who commanded him to kill his brothers. The tall being smiled as he pointed at Wesley, pleased with the events that had just unfolded.
"You have done well," he told Wesley. "You have the power to destroy the Complete. You will put an end to your legacy and relinquish your powers to me."
Wesley nodded as he turned the still bloody dagger at his own chest and plunged it into himself. He cried out in agony and collapsed to the ground…
Wesley woke up quickly, but silently. He slowly turned his head, examining his whereabouts. Although he still lay in his room, he no longer recognized it as that. To him, he was in a strange land now, with only one mission. He left the bed and crept out of the bedroom, making his way to James' room. He knew that James kept an athame in a drawer in his room. He slipped into his oldest brother's room and retrieved the ceremonial dagger. He mumbled over and over again in a low voice, "destroy the Complete, destroy the Complete" as he then headed downstairs.
