Im sorry this story is really short. I made it into a two-shot, so ya. I hope you enjoy this chapter!
Percy
TI next few days, Tyson was making the perfect gift for Annabeth. Today was Christmas Eve, so tomorrow, I was going to give it to her, and I was nervous.
I ran to the dining pavilion for dinner. Annabeth was at the Athena table, but when he sat down, she followed.
"Hey wise girl, you're not supposed to be here." I said.
"Percy, its Christmas Eve, I think they can make an exception. "
I smiled at that, and finished my dinner. "Come on, the fireworks are going to be starting soon."
"Crack! Crack! Boom!" The fireworks seemed to dance in the sky. I had my arm around Annabeth as we watched the fireworks go off. I had Tyson's gift in my pocket, so I decided to give it to her later, when we were on a walk.
The sky darkened, and everyone clapped.
"Do you want to go for a walk?" I whispered in Annabeth's ear.
"Sure!" she said.
I took her hand, and we headed toward the beach.
As we walked along the sand, I took out the box in my pocket. I got down on one knee, and opened it.
"Merry Christmas, Annabeth."
Annabeth
I gasped. It was a ring. It was silver with green gems in the middle.
"It's a promise ring." He explained. I almost jumped for joy.
"Percy…I love it!" I said.
He stood up, and I let him put it on my finger.
Then we kissed under the stars for only the gods know how long, and I thought about our future together.
