The next morning Tifa walked through the streets toward the committee headquarters. She had spent most of last night accumulating all of her money from working extra jobs but even then it was still not enough to pay off Sykes. She decided to head over to see Leon, someone who had stood by her through this whole thing even when he didn't have to. She thought if anyone could help her or had any idea of what to do it'd be him.

She walked up to the door, knocked and then walked in. She looked surprised at the Restoration Committee headquarters, completely and utterly empty except for the people in it. All of whom looked around the room with a unique look of shock on their face. Yuffie's was curiosity as she looked around at where everything once was, Cid's was anger, and Aerith shock. Leon was nowhere to be seen. Yuffie inspected where the furniture used to be as Aerith looked in the cupboard's to reveal them to be empty.

"Ta think we've been robbed from the inside" Cid scoffed

"What happened?" Tifa asked turning around getting their attention. "Where is everything?"

"Well" Cid said looking at his watch "The market opens up at sunrise, and those little ducks have their uncle's instructions. So probably being sold for more than their worth"

Tifa looked at him with a raised brow "I don't understand"

"Leon spent all of last night taking all of our stuff out" Yuffie told her "He took it all to the marketplace to sell it"

"We haven't seen him since" Aerith said as she held onto Pooh's storybook, the only thing than remained.

"Just be glad he didn't touch that old loon's stuff. IT's a good thing he took it with him" Cid said

"Oh yeah when do you think they'll be back?" Yuffie asked changing the subject

"Who knows" Cid shrugged

"Wait" Tifa said getting their attention again "So you're telling me Leon took everything you guys had and took it to the market?"

"Yeah, why?" Cid asked.

Tifa looked at them and shaked "I.. I.. I'm just curious" she said.

Then the door opened and Tifa snapped her head around and saw Leon walk through the door. The two of them looked each other over in the silence of the empty room.

"Hey" she said

"Hi" he responded as she walked up to him.

"Where did you go?" she asked in a whisper

"To pick up a message and now I'm here to pass it on" he said as she stood before him "Consider our account closed" he nodded to her.

Her eyes bulged open in awe. She looked him over and then at the empty room before turning back to him. "Thank you so much" she whispered. He nodded to her.

"Well lookie who came back" Cid said as he walked up to Leon "Now what are we gonna do about this?"

"We'll fix it" Leon responded blandly. Cid scoffed as Yuffie spoke up.

"Why'd ya get rid of all of this stuff anyway?" Yuffie asked "What's the reason?"

"A good one" Leon said as he looked at Tifa. Before anyone could ask anything else the door opened and Eddie walked with a smirk on his face. He looked everyone over and then locked his eyes on Tifa. He then nodded off to the side of the room and he walked over and she followed him.

"Geez doll, if you were so tight on money why didn't ya tell me?" he looked her over "We could worked something out"

"I was afraid you wouldn't have taken the case" Tifa responded shakily as Eddie looked her over.

"Well that's all done with now" Eddie said "You have good friends that got you through this"

"Yeah" she nodded looking back at everyone, although one in particular caught her eye. She then turned back to him "How's the search going?"

"Couldn't say" he shrugged with a smile. "But" he said as he walked passed her "Why don't you go look ouside, I think there's someone who wants to see you"

Tifa's eyes widened and she walked towards the door, passed everyone else. Leon walked her as she walked to the door and before she opened it Tifa looked back to him and then finally opened it.

Standing outside was Cloud.

She silently walked up to him as he stoically stood there. She stopped and they stood before each other.

"Hi" she greeted him

"Hi" he responded.

She moved some hair behind her ear "You look well"

"So do you" he responded. No she wasn't.

Eddie leaned against the doorframe and watched the two as they spoke. Leon almost immediately joined him

"You left again" Tifa said

"I had things to do"

"You did" he nodded "OH.. well then I guess it's okay" Silence overtook the two "Do you know when you'll be leaving again?"

"No"

"Do you know if you'll be leaving again?"

"No"

"Well…" Tifa paused as she looked back at Eddie and Leon. She then turned back to Cloud " It's nice to have you back"

"Hmph" Cloud let out. "You hired a private eye to find me?"

"Yeah, Eddie" Tifa answered

"Why would you waste your money on something like that?"

That last comment fueled Leon with rage and he stomped his foot forward to confront Cloud. But Eddie who still casually leaned against the door put his arm out stopping him "Hold your horse's lover boy"

Cloud looked over Tifa to see the enraged Leon "What's his problem"

"Leon oh he just… Someone stole all the restoration committee's stuff"

"Oh, really" Cloud said before letting out a sigh "Well" he turned his back on her "I have to go"

"Where" he did not respond. "Where?" she asked again.

"Nowhere important" he said before walking off.

Tifa watched him go off silently as Eddie put his arm down "Alright, now you can go" he told Leon. The swordsman looked over the private eye who looked back at him and winked. Leon turned his gaze back to Tifa and walked up behind her.

"You okay?" he asked as she turned around to see him

"Uh huh, fine" she nodded.

"So.. what now?"

"Well…" Tifa shrugged and smiled "I guess I could ask you that? What are you gonna do about all you stuff?"

"When Merlin gets back, we'll come together and put an end to Sykes and his business. Then when we get all of your money back we can go to the market and get some new furniture"

"Well some of it was your money too"

"Yeah, I guess so"

"You know.. this is all over now" she said as she traced her foot along a crack "I can still get free ice cream. I'd sure like to repay somebody who helped me through all this" she smiled

"I don't think it kicked off with Eddie to well" Leon said as Tifa looked him over. Leon sighed and walked forward "So I'll havt to do"

"So you have a sense of humor after all" she said as they walked off to the marketplace.

Eddie walked out and watched them leave and Cid walked up and joined him. Then suddenly a cloud of smoke appeared next to them and when the smoke cleared Merlin, Arthur and Archimedes appeared.

"Well" Merlin coughed through the smoke "Just like I said" he waved his cane through the smoke "Radiant Garden"

"Ah yes" the educated owl hacked " Complete with smog"

"Ah just a temporary side effect, wha-oh" Merlin said as Eddie and Cid looked them over. "Ah Cid, you're looking well" Cid nodded to the wizard "and Mr. Valiant, have you been coming along well here?"

"Oh perfectly" Eddie said sarcastically "Like a walk in the park"

"Good to have ya back, ya old loon" Cid shot at the wizard before looking at Arthur "And you too kid" he patted him roughly on the head. Arthur then introduced himself to Eddie with Merlins encouragement.

"Hey bud" Eddie nodded to him.

"What were you both staring at?" he asked

"Oh just the sights" Eddie turned his head off to the marketplace

"Yep, sights" Cid agreed and looked over.

"I say whatever is the-ooohh" Merlin let out as he saw Leon and Tifa walking towards the marketplace together holding hands.

"What? I don't get it" Arthur said as they all watched on. Leon and Tifa then stopped looked at each other and kissed each other on the lips. "Oh now I see"

"Well, you must tell us all about it"

"Oh that'll take time" Cid said

"You know I'm starting to like it here" Eddie said "What kinda work can a guy get around here?"

"There's an open spot with the Restoration committee" Cid said placing his hands on his shoulders.

"Well, let us continue on inside" Merlin said as he pushed them forward "Tell us everything we've missed" he said as they all when inside.

Leon and Tifa went to the marketplace and enjoyed their ice cream together.
