Long time no update. Got carried away with my other stories, my life and, of course, video games. I apologize, and hope you enjoy this chapter.

Penelope, Tear, Natalia, Guy, Jade, and Anise were cruising along the high skies of Imaginationa in the Albiore II. The aircraft was piloted by a young woman named Noelle, who, as Penelope learned, came from a family of pilots. Well, that's what Penelope assumed after Noelle told her that her older brother, Genji, was also a pilot.

"So where is it we're heading?" Penelope asked Noelle.

"We are heading for Yulia City, as requested by Tear." She replied with a smile.

"Yulia City?" Penelope inquired.

"It's a place just surrounded by miasma. But it's also the home to some real smart people. It's said to be the home of Yulia herself!"

"Yulia Jue, right? Tear told me about her. But why are we going there?"

Noelle shrugged. "All I know is I go wherever these guys tell me to go. After all, I wouldn't want to do anything to upset my boyfriend" she said as she winked at Guy Cecil. He gave a warm smile and waved back.

"Well then. I'll let you two be alone, and I'll go talk to Tear," Penelope said teasingly as she walked away from the pilot's seat. When she met up with Tear, the brunette was spacing out.

"Tear," she called out to her. Tear jerked her head toward Penelope, the latter of which could have sworn she had seen the former wipe a tear from her face. However, she chose to say nothing about the subject. "Hey, I was just curious about why we are going to Yulia City."

"There's something that I want you to have. Yulia City is my home, and we'll have to go there to retrieve it," she answered.

Penelope looked at Tear with confusion. What could it possibly be?

~Tokyo City~

"You must be the one who brought Blossom here," a tall man in a lab coat said to Naruto.

"Yeah, I'm Naruto," Naruto replied. The man extended his arm.

"Professor Utonium," he said as he shook Naruto's hand.

"How is she?" Naruto asked. Professor Utonium drove his hands in his pockets and closed his eyes.

"She's hurt badly, but the doctors here say she'll live, although we'll be down a Powerpuff for a while. If it hadn't been for you…" Professor Utonium let his sentence drift. Professor Utonium directed his attention towards the bawling blonde in blue.

"Bubbles," he said to her. The girl looked at him through her tears. "I know you're worried about Blossom, but she'll be okay. Right now you need to go back out there and help Buttercup."

"B-but Professor!" Bubbles tried to argue. "I-I can't j-just leave…!"

"I know Bubbles. Under normal circumstances I would have no problems with you staying here. But this is not normal circumstances. It's the zombie apocalypse, and you're a Powerpuff Girl. You have a job to do." Bubbles nodded, wiped the tears from her eyes, and headed for the roof.

Professor Utonium redirected his gaze towards the Uzumaki. "Are you a ninja from Shinobi?"

"Yeah, I am" he replied.

"Were you sent to combat the zombies?"

"Well, not exactly" Naruto admitted. Professor Utonium smiled.

"I have something that I think you'll find useful. Please, accompany me to my lab."

~Professor Utonium's Lab~

Naruto and Professor Utonium reached the lab with only a few minor zombie encounters, which Naruto easily handled without breaking a sweat. Upon approaching the door, the Professor gave a knock.

"Ken, it's your father. I've brought an acquaintance with me, please let us in," he said rather calmly to a speaker by the door. He then looked up and smiled at a camera lens. Without another sound, the door automatically slid open, and Naruto and Professor Utonium stepped inside.

Naruto looked around the lab in amazement, seemingly too entranced by the technology to speak. Professor Utonium chuckled at the ninja's reaction to his lab as he led him down a corridor. As they walked, Professor Utonium had to tell Naruto to keep his hands to himself more than once.

After a while, a young boy appeared in front of them, slightly bent over and out of breath.

"Ken!" Professor Utonium said in alarm upon seeing the boy. "Ken, what happened?" he asked as he knelt down beside his son, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"That guy… we got from Viridian City… he went into his Pokemon form… and got loose…"

"What?!" Professor Utonium said in alarm, immediately rising to his feet. Naruto saw the panic on the Professor's face.

"Professor Utonium, what's going on?" he asked.

"Due to an accident in my lab, a young boy from Viridian City and his Caterpie became fused into one being. I was trying to separate them again, but when the Caterpie becomes in control, he is transformed into a monstrously huge Caterpie, and goes on a rampage. For all our safety, I had him in containment so as to not cause any harm, neither to him nor my family, but it seems the walls were too weak… Ken, where is he now?"

"Sam and I… we got him back into containment… he's back to being a bug, I mean catcher, that is." Ken said, stumbling over the last few words. Professor Utonium let out a sigh of relief.

"Where is your mother?" he asked his son.

"Making food for the hunters. Bur-."

"YOU GUYS ARE FEEDING HUNTERS, ARE YOU INSANE?!" Naruto suddenly yelled.

Ken gave Naruto a confused look, while Professor Utonium turned to him.

"Naruto, calm down, it's not what you think," he said.

Naruto's hands were clenched into tight fists, and he was gritting his teeth in anger.

"How can you be keeping zombies?! They're dangerous-"

"They're not zombies! They're supernatural hunters, moron." Ken said, interrupting Naruto.

"What did you say?!" Naruto asked in anger, glaring at Ken.

"Sam and Dean are hunters from Superica, and completely human" Professor Utonium said rather sternly to Naruto. The hyperactive ninja turned towards the professor, who launched his explanation.

"They kept fighting and fighting until they wound up all the way here in Tokyo City. They saved Ken's life, and I decided to show my thanks by offering them a place to stay. Both men hold their own in a fight, and I've found there is value in keeping them around. I don't know what would have happened to Ken or my wife if they hadn't been here today…" Professor Utonium's thoughts seemed to drift, but he then snapped back to reality after a few moments, and redirected his gaze to his son.

"Are Sam and Dean all right?" he asked.

Ken nodded. "Dean was unconscious for a while, but he's awake now. That's why mom's cooking."

"I'm glad to hear it," Professor Utonium replied. He hesitated before asking his son, "And Peach?" Ken looked at the floor without answering the question. Professor Utonium knelt on the ground and placed a hand on his son's shoulder. Ken looked at his father with watery eyes. "Why don't you go and help your mother in the kitchen?" he asked. Ken slowly nodded and took off. Professor Utonium rose to his feet and turned to face Naruto again.

"I'm sorry about the fuss. Come with me," he said to Naruto as he continued down the corridor. Naruto followed.

Professor Utonium brought Naruto into a large room lined with various machines, all with flashing lights. The professor headed to a metal cabinet towards the far end of the room, and reached down to grab one of the many contents its shelves contained.

"I have here a device that my son and I developed. I believe that you can make more use of this than anyone here could," Professor Utonium said as he brought his hand away from the cabinet. Resting in his palm was a circular device, just barely bigger than his hand.

"What is it?" the ninja asked.

"It is a zombie-detection device; I call it the Large Area Zombie Reactor, or LAZR for short. It is programmed to sense the chemical that is emitted from zombies, and, as a result, allows you to determine where there are large concentrations of zombies. I designed it for the purpose in alerting the user to areas of high zombie activity to avoid them, but I can see in your eyes that you will use it for something else. Given that you were able to save Blossom, I can see no reason to do anything but assist you in your cause."

Naruto, mesmerized by the device, took it from the professor's hand.

"Thank you… But, um, how does it work-ttebayo?" he asked embarrassedly.

The Professor smiled. "Allow me." He said, reclaiming the device.

"As you can see here," the Professor said as he began his tutorial, "there are three buttons below the screen: silent, info and map. When there are a large number of zombies in an immediate area, it will give a faint beeping sound. Just press this button to silence the noise. The info button can be used to see more information on an area that has reportedly high zombie activity. Let's see, if we press it now… ah! There appears to be-" the Professor paused before saying, "… at the Police Headquarters…"

The Professor seemed too distraught to continue.

"Professor, are you okay? What's at the Police Headquarters that's so important, anyway?" Naruto asked.

"That's where Matsuda is… Naruto, take Sam and Dean and hurry over there! We can't lose the Death Note, it's too important to our survival!" Naruto, elated to be sent into battle, nodded and ran off to find the Winchester brothers.
