Spark bounced over towards the she-cat
"Hello!" Spark called waving her tail towards the white cat.
She was taken by surprise. "Welcome Spark, I was told about you earlier by someone" She twitched her tail towards Lionkit, who was just being dismissed and ordered Thyme nightly for shock. The cat waved her tail, offering it to Spark, who nervously excepted. They shook tails in greeting
"My names Snowstar, I lead this clan. You're interested then? If you followed those kits here?" Spark nodded.
"Or...your destiny" Snowstar murmured silently. Deep with thought.
Spark pricked her ears. But ignored the thought.
"This is Phoenixflame and Darkmoon, Darkmoons my deputy" Snowstar introduced the three to each other. Spark growled silently under her breath at Darkmoon. "Nice to meet you Phoenixflame!" She held her tail out, similar to the way Snowstar had done. Phoenixflame nodded politely, but rejected the offer. Darkmoon however, reached forward, Spark acted like she hadn't noticed, and redrew her tail. Darkmoon looked slightly taken back. She frowned.
Snowstar yawned
"You two should probably organise the patrols, Spark, go with Talonpaw over there, he'll help you get into a den"
Spark turned around to where the named apprentice was. He was talking to a bigger cat, the one Roseleaf had described. Spark nervously padded towards the pair.
"H-hello!" She meowed nervously. Lifting her front paw up to shake like the rest of the clan did. The older cat happily shook, introducing himself.
"Greetings, my name is Shiningclaw, this is my apprentice Talonpaw, I suppose I'm supposed to find you a mentor?"
Apprentice? Mentor? "N-no, Snowstar said 'Go to Talonpaw because he'll help me get into a den'" she explained holding her paw out in a formal manner.
Shiningclaw nodded. "Come inside" He lead her into a den. "That nest isn't being used...one of our apprentices...died last week" He looked down sadly. "I'll tell you later" with a dismissive flick of his tail, Spark left the den the clearing was busier now, a group of cats including Snowstar and Darkmoon were sharing around prey. A broad looking she-cat with a brown pelt and white paws called her over. Upon closer expection, Featherkit and her brother were talking to Snowstar happily, she laughed and sent them away kindly before talking in her group again.
Spark cautiously approached the cat who called her.
"Shiningclaw got you a nest hey?" She called, lying on her back, sloped against a rock, chewing on a shrew.
She nodded "yup"
"Hey, don't be shy, come here, my names Willowstorm. She stood up and bowed formally. Bobbing down on her paws.
Snowstar smiled and stood up next to her "This is my friend Willowstorm, You've met Fawngaze and Moonpaw, Darkmoon you saw earlier this morning right?"
She nodded hesitantly. Before hearing a loud meow.
All six cats, (including Spark) jumped to their paws.
"Battle alarm!" Came a cry from close to where she was standing
Snowstar grabbed Sparks neck and shoved her against a rock, the rock was moved and there was a tiny hole beneath it, big enough to fit several cats, some other cats, such as frail brown cat she saw earlier and a pregnant queen, three kits and a gray she-cat.
"I can fight!" Spark called, before the rock was moved again. Vicious calls were heard from outside and one of the kits let out a cry of fear. It was quieted quickly by the soothing licks of its mother. Spark let out a angry growl, she scratched the bottom of the rock and hissed. The queen shrugged
"It won't budge" She meowed, she could sense the fear in her voice. Spark roared and jumped up, batting the rock and with so much ferocity the rock was thrown across the clearing. A cry of defeat was echoing across the clearing. She darted out of the hole and attacked the first cat. Who quickly ducked on his paws.
"We surrender! We do!" He cried. Cats flooded from the camp.
Snowstar stood up from where she was "You hit the leader...No one but me can move that rock" She meowed quietly, nodding her head hesitantly.
"I think you're ready for your apprentice name"
