First Kisses and Babysitting

Part Two

Emma blinked at her best friend, mouth agape. "Why is that too bad?" She asked timidly, brown eyes wide.

Spencer stared down at his shoes and bit his lip. If he told her the truth about his feelings for her this could quite possibly change everything. Could he really deal with that? One quick glance into her eyes told him that yes, he could. He was quite certain that even if she didn't feel the same for him, she'd still want to be friends. Slowly, he slid closer to her, hand reaching out to cup her cheek, thumb rubbing against it, gently. He moved closer to her, pressing his lips to her's, eyes fluttering shut. Her lips were warm against his and he felt her grip his neck, leaning into him as she kissed him back.

The flash of a camera and two soft giggles captured their attention and the two teens pulled apart, looking torwards the sound. Somehow, Danny and Georgie had gotten up without them knowing and stood side by side. Danny held a camera in his hand throwing a devilish look at Spencer. "Huh. Guess Joss was right about you guys."

Emma looked at Danny questioningly. "What did Jocelyn say to you about me and Spence?" She wondered suspiciously.

Georgie shrugged at her cousin. "She told me and Spencer that she'd give us twenty dollars if we got a picture of you two kissing. Danny didn't think we'd get it, but I guess we did." She answered innocently, looping her arm through her best friend's. "So does that mean you two are together, now?"

The brunette growled at that, rolling her eyes. "Of course Jocelyn would tell you that." She bit out, feeling a little bit annoyed that everyone seemed to know about her feelings for Spencer. "I thought you two were asleep, anyway?"

The little girl's hazel eyes sparkled. "We only wanted you to think that. Come on, Emmy. You should know me better than that. And anyway, you didn't answer my question! Are you and Spencer dating now?"

Emma choked a bit, blushing once more. "What gave you that idea?" She squeaked out, eyes widening.

"Cuz you kissed. Mom and daddy kiss because they love each other. Do you and Cam love each other?"

Spencer swallowed hard, looking at the stubborn girl. "That isn't exactly an easy question to answer, Gigi." He informed her.

"Well, what's so hard about it?" Danny wondered, folding his arms over his chest. "You either have feelings for one another or you don't! Haven't you always had a crush on Emma, though, Spencer?"

The dark haired teen glanced down. It was true, he had. He and Cameron had both liked Emma, in fact. They had always chased after her until they suddenly got to middle school and other boys began to take interest in her. But he and Emma had been just kids then. They were teenagers now. "You're right about that, Danny." He murmured lowly.

And Danny grinned, grabbing Georgie's hand with his own. "Then our work here is done!" He announced proudly, trying to pull Georgie away from the scene in front of them.

Georgie shook her head. "No! We won't get the extra twenty dollars unless Spencer and Emma tell us if they're together or not!"

Spencer laughed. "As much as I might want to be with your cousin, Georgie, that decision is up to her." He turned to his lifelong best friend, lips quirked into a smirk just the slightest bit hesitant. "So, Emma, what will it be?" He wondered, awaiting her answer.

The press of her soft, warm lips against his own was all the answer that he needed.

The End.
