He decided the quickest way to get out of Arkham, or at least his cell. The guards have been sloppy, Joker laughed maybe
he should play comatosed more often. He hadn't been to therapy, he just didn't feel like budging there so nobody had
any idea of what he could be thinking (not that they usually did). Joker sat down and very subtly began stipping his bed,
then he knew exactlty what to do. There was a camera directly above him in his cell, an old fashioned one, bulky, an
anchor point. He took the bedding and knotted it to the camera. He wasn't trying to be discrete. The guards looked at him
in a frenzied panic, and began connecting with all their supperiors, running for help and even running right towards the
Joker's trap.
He finally sees it - guys the Jokers gonna do it! All the guards were in anticipation and at a total loss. They couldn't
wait about forever, Joker knew what he was doing. Each of the guards had a different thought, there was even a betting
pool and what made him crack. Most people said it was a trap, obvious right? But others had surprising ideas. "He's
finally bet Batman with this!", "He's truely seen the light!", "He must be dying already, doesn't want god to take him",
"Well...that blondie Harleen hasn't been spotted with him snce the last break out".
Apparenty Batman was on his way, the guards were to stall. But not go anywhere near him. Strict orders, Orders they
were finding it increasingly difficult to stick to.
So there is a camera here, one here...hmmmm. Harley was surveying the area she was sure she knew so well, maybe she
would have to get in another way. If Roc didn't recognize her maybe she could try the front door? Harley knew enough
about the inner workings of Arkham to know one of the older married phyciatrists had a thing for young girls with big
blue eyes. Play it cool Harley. Play. It. Cool.
The fact Harley was heavily pregnant worked to her advantage, people don't like turning away pregnant women. Okay
through the front doors and managed to catch a guards attention already. "Hello ma'am are you alright? Is there any
reason for you to be here or do you need assistance?" Harley lauched herself into the guards arms, but not for an attack.
She began to sob and wail making the young guard clearly uncomfortable. "Please ma'am explain clearly why you have came
to be here?" Harley knew exactly what to say but had no idea the surprising amount of truth to it. "Well I got in a bad
way and he doesn't know. I just needed to tell him but he'll be so mad! He probably doesn't even want kids, I know I
love him more than me but what can i do?" This outpouring of truth truely took the guard off guard.
The guard rubbed the back of his neck. "May I ask who?" Harley batted her eyelashes, tears rolling down her cheecks.
"I don't know if I should tell you, he has other *hic* serious commitments. He's been here for a while like a part of the
Arkham family. I don't want him to lose credibility. Just let me in follow me on the cameras! I know where to go. Please."
The guard made his own assumptions and decided to let her in. It seemed genuine and although evasive it was.
Harley didn't need to creep through the corridors, the opposite. She needed to be fast. He would quickly see she was
in the completely wrong part of Arkham to wait in some older guys office. They would figure out she was headed to the
cells.
"Batmans gonna take too long, there's a reason he's doing this and that means somethings changed or at least that's
what I believe as an honest Christian man. I'm going in to reason with him and that's that" An older guard marched
dutifully towards Joker's cell muttering words of redemption and cleansing to Joker. He wasn't listening though. One
thing was in the Joker's mind and that was breaking his little harlequin so no red headed bimbo would ever be able
to mess with his stuff. He didn't enjoy sharing he didn't share anything...well except a hideout, a bed, food and his
plans with Harley... The guard caught this genuinley reflective look on Jokers face and advanced into the unknown.
Joker latched on to the mans back and placed the homemade noose over his neck. In his best mock sincerity he crooned
"Oh God has sent me a messenger to finally do this deed I deserve!" Joker knew this man wouldn't let him die but there
was one thing he didn't account for.
Harley knew Ivy's stuff would come in handy she had come to the Jokers block. All the guards were concentrated in
one area around his cell and she hurled a couple of bottles of very potent plant toxins down the hallway. Lucky Ivy
had given Harley and the baby those imunnity shot things. Harley knew she didn't have must time so she sprinted away
down the hall just in time to see all the guards hit the deck. "Mistah J I'm cummin' to gettcha!" She yelled jovially
but that joy turned to frantic panic fast. The guard whoem Joker was safely perched on had droppen and he was hanging
there. Harley shreiked.
