History of 30 Years
Battle of Raftel: Luffy finally reached Raftel, but the marines had actually set up an enormous base there, in anticipation of catching anyone who tried to become Pirate King. A war broke out, ending with Luffy defeating Akainu and becoming king. After that, the Straw Hats temporarily parted ways to go visit their home towns, and agreed to meet up again on Raftel after a year. Waiting at their home towns were marines who captured several of them.
The Straw Hats: Current locations
Luffy: Currently travelling with Nami trying to find the other Straw Hats who have become split up.
Nami: With Luffy.
Zoro: Impossibly well lost. Last seen wandering the White-White Sea.
Sanji: Impel Down.
Chopper: Being kept as a pet by the new Fleet Admiral.
Usopp: Attempting to rescue Chopper. Hiding in Enies Lobby biding his time and developing a plan.
Robin: Waiting at Raftel.
Franky: Ran out of Cola. Hidden under rubble on Scrap Heap Island.
Brooke: Supposedly dead.
The Naval Hierarchy: There's a new Fleet Admiral named Yamalascaba Flindoolbala, a flamboyant man who is nevertheless incredibly dangerous. He travels the oceans on the great ship The Fighting Walrus, as he cannot go on land for unknown reasons. Coby has become one of the three Admirals, but Helmeppo is merely a Vice Admiral, lacking Coby's drive, power and purity. Because of the strength of his Devil Fruit, Borsalino is still an Admiral.
Akainu: Dead.
Aokiji: Waiting at Raftel, keeping Robin company.
CP9: Broken up. After killing Spandam, they rested at their home land for several years before it was attacked and destroyed by pirates, who were targeting the Cipher Pols. Rob Lucci is alive, as is Kaku, but the others are either dead or missing.
