So I'm on the next one. I wasn't a really big fan of the last Drabble. It wasn't my favorite, it was much to short, I just sucked! I really do hate it, so its time for redemption. Which probably isn't going to happen anytime soon. I just can't really like my drabbles. The only one I really loved was Nightmares. It was probably my favorite out of all of them.

Anyway, I will keep on writing Red vs. Blue drabbles because I do love to write them and I can only hope that you all like to read them as much has I like writing them. Sometimes though it gets hard to write when I have no inspiration. Guess how I get that inspiration? Yes Reviews !

Well Enjoy and Review!

Prompt: Fight

Pairing: Caboose/Wash

Neither Wash nor Caboose thought it would happen. It was unexpected for them to get actually mad with each other. They had their first fight. It wasn't that big of a fight, but it did include some yelling, with someone walking away. Surprisingly, the one to have walked away was Caboose. The yelling had ran him off quickly, leaving Wash to stop and think, really think, about what had just happened. What had lead up to them arguing for the first time since getting together. It had surprised Wash.

It had been like any other day for Blue Base, Tucker was off doing random things to keep himself busy. Wash was reading the same old book again, he only had about three books to read but didn't mind reading the same ones over and over. Caboose was not to far from him, coloring peacefully. It was like any other day, but somehow they managed to make it into a full out war. Wash was still having doubts about Caboose's friendship with Church, and the other older members of Blue and Red armies. Wash didn't want to be jealous, but he couldn't help the idea that he could loose Caboose to someone the other had known longer. Wash originally thought that he had laid the worries to rest the last time he and Caboose had talked about, but obviously not.

So, like a fool, he had brought it back up to Caboose. While the other had tried to assure him that their relationship was just fine and that Wash wouldn't have to worry about anything tearing them apart. Wash almost couldn't believe what Caboose told him. Caboose insisted otherwise, however Wash would not hear it. Then somehow, some way their slight argument turned into a yell out. Wash knew better than to ever yell at Caboose, and regretting even bringing the issue up after Caboose had walked out. Wash stood in a paralyzed state, unable, or rather un-wanting to move. Caboose had walked out on him. What if he had left for good? What would Wash do next.

Wash then realized he had made his love sound like not that of love, but devotion. Whether Wash loved Caboose was not questionable. He knew that his feelings for Caboose were stronger than any feelings he had ever felt in his life. Which slightly scared him. He was so devoted to Caboose, he needed Caboose in his life to function correctly in life. Wash had never wanted to depend on someone that much in his life, mainly because when you depend on someone then you can't really depend on yourself. Wash didn't want that. Maybe in the end that's what he was really upset about.

He wanted to run after Caboose, but the other needed a second to think things over himself. Maybe then, Wash could approach Caboose. Besides the fight had just ended. It was far to early to make up. They needed this fight, to progress as a couple. Fighting was good. Healthy even. So Wash decided it was best to let this whole situation settle over before either made a move to recover. However Wash had not expected it to take this long for the whole thing to blow over. It had been almost four days since the whole situation and Wash and Caboose had not even looked at each other.

It had gotten to the point that Wash hadn't even been able to sleep. Without Caboose in bed with him, Caboose had returned to his own room the night of the fight, Wash had been unable to get any sleep. According to Tucker, it was almost completely opposite for Caboose. Wash acted completely wrecked from the fight because he was. Caboose however, slept normally and wasn't really fazed by it. Tucker assumed it was because Caboose was too stupid to stay mad at Wash, and insisted Wash to go and talk to Caboose now, but Wash still wasn't sure. So he went to bed that night, knowing he would not get any sleep in the end.

However, halfway through the sleepless night for Wash, he heard the door creak open lightly and a figure move into the room. Wash stayed quiet as the figure moved further into his room. He had a feeling it was Tucker, coming to tell him once again to try to sleep. That he could manage sleep without Caboose, but he knew better.

"Wash." The voice he had not expected rang through the cold empty room. Wash sat up quickly to look over at Caboose. It was obvious then that Caboose was no longer upset about what had happened the other day. So why didn't Caboose just join him in bed? Did Caboose really want to talk about it? At this hour?

"I know you want me to join you in bed, but if I do that you would fall asleep, and I need to say this now. I need you to know that I am not mad. I never was. I left so you can think, I know that you needed some alone time. I didn't intend to stay away so long, but you seemed so upset about what happened I wanted to give you some space. Then Tucker told me you were falling apart and I had to come make sure you didn't. That would be bad." Caboose told him and Wash understood.

"I really am sorry about yelling at you. I wasn't thinking and I know that you don't like yelling. I just…I wasn't mad about the others. I was scared. I was scared because you mean so much to me, and I didn't want nothing to happen to us. I guess I screwed that up." Wash pointed out dejectedly. His eyes was heavy from the lack of sleep. A fatigue had fallen over him that he couldn't pick himself up from. Wash didn't want Caboose to see him this way, but it was inevitable.

"I know. I know." Caboose said sitting down next to Wash on the bed, taking the ex-freelancers face in his hands, carefully inspecting Wash's tired face. Caboose sighed, and then smiled lightly before planting a small kiss on Wash's forehead. Before continuing to talk. "Let's go to bed now. We can talk more in the morning." Caboose promised before stripping down to his boxers, not feeling up to changing into his night clothes, to slip into bed next to Wash.

Once Caboose had taken Wash into his arms, they both knew they would be okay no matter what. Within a few seconds, Wash had fallen into a deep sleep that remained un disturbed all night. Caboose too slept peacefully with Wash next to him. All was as it should be.

Now this is a drabble I can be proud of. I like this one a lot better than the last. I mean really, they were just horrible. Anyway now that I have finished it, I will moved back to my Kekkaishi story. I haven't posted the next chapter yet but I will get to that soon, not that anyone has read it anyway. Aside from that…I hoped you liked it! See you next time. Review if you want more!
