Alright guys, I actually had some time to write, so here the next chapter~ It's pretty long this time so hopefully it keeps you busy. ^^ I have no idea how long it will take for the next one but rest assured, there will be a continuation. :p This chapter is also more of a fan service chapter so I think it will be less boring than the previous one. Ummmm, also, I've been getting a lot of reviews and feedback and I LOVE IT! Keep it up, I love getting comments and reviews :D Recently I've been getting a lot more story followers as well which I'm also thrilled about! So thanks for everything and keep being awesome!

Another thing, I think I'm going to stop indenting because its a pain to go through every line and indent so sorry if you love indenting or something :)

~Ludwig's P.O.V.~

(f/n) and Lud continued the small chat as they headed back to (f/n)'s job. He was happy they were slowly getting to know each other. They turned a corner and started across a street when the German spotted a car speeding toward them. The next thing he knew he heard (f/n) scream out and he acted out of instinct. Acting quickly, he dove at (f/n) knocking them both out of the car's path. The two crashed to the ground and rolled for a few feet and soon stopped.

Pulling himself up slowly, he checked to see if (f/n) was ok. Her eyes were closed but she was breathing. He checked for a concussion next. He opened her eyes and her eyes dilated normally. "She must've just blacked out." He thought. Ludwig wiped some gravel off of her arms and legs, then took a few pieces from her hair. He next sat her up a bit and wiped some gravel off of himself. Ludwig watched as the driver exited his vehicle and came running over.

"Sir, are you alright?!" the driver exclaimed.

"Ja, both me and her are fine." The blonde responded calmly.

"Is there anything I can do?"

"I don't believe so, but thank you for the offer."

The driver sighed in relief. "I'm so sorry, but I'm in a rush. May I leave?"

"Ja, I believe we will be fine. She will wake up soon, she just blacked out is all."

"Again, I'm really sorry sir. Ciao!" The man said running back to his car. The driver got into his car and sped off quickly.

Bystanders soon descended on them like ants. Ludwig really wished they would leave; they were fine. Hopefully (f/n) would wake up soon; she was better at people skills than he was.

Incoherent voices asked "Are you ok?" "Do you need an ambulance?" "Is the girl alright?" And Ludwig just kept saying, "We're fine, we're fine."

The crowd backed up a bit as he checked (f/n) for cuts. They were talking to fast and conjoined so he decided he would block them out. He looked at her face, where there was a small scrape down her cheek. It bled slightly; a tear of blood slowly traveled down the length of her face. He felt like an idiot, both for diving at her like that and for not concentrating on the cut, but instead looking at how peaceful her face was. Shaking his head clear he licked his thumb and wiped some of the blood off. The crowd "aww'd" slightly, but he wasn't paying attention enough to care. (f/n)'s eyelids slightly fluttered and she moaned.

He arm lifted mechanically and she rubbed her head. "Fuck, my head hurts like hell…" She mumbled.

~Your P.O.V.~

Blackness moved sluggishly around your head as your consciousness returned. You felt something on your cheek. It was gentle and felt surprisingly good. Suddenly your head pounded and you lifted your arm to rub it.

"Fuck, my head hurts like hell…" You mumbled.

You heard a chuckle. "That isn't very ladylike language (f/n)." It was Ludwig. "Is this a dream?" You thought. Your eyes were so heavy, so you let them stay closed. You replied dreamily, smiling slightly.

"Who gives a shit?" Honestly, you thought this was a dream.

"Well, seeing as there is a crowd here, you might want to be careful." Ludwig replied.

Your head was starting to grow a tad clearer.

"…Is this a dream?"

"Um, no not really."

Well shit.

You rubbed your head again. You heard the crowd talking now; their voices merging into one loud, continuous noise. Opening your eyes, you were looking up. Ludwig's face was a few inches from yours, and you squeaked in surprise.

He blushed. "Oh...er…sorry I…didn't realize…" He got up from on top of you.

You blushed to and slowly sat up with the Germans help.

"Thanks…" You said awkwardly.

He smiled weakly and grunted.

"Hey she's awake!" said a voice from the crowd. The talking became louder and more excited.

Ludwig shushed them. "Hey, her head hurts could you shutup?"

You could tell he was trying to be polite. The crowd went silent and you talked, still squinting from the light of the sun.

"Um, I'm fine everybody you can continue on."

Another voice spoke. "Are you sure sweetie?"

"Yes, go ahead. If anything, I have this guy." You said, pointing at Lud while smiling.

The crowd talked quietly and dispersed, leaving you and the blue eyed man sitting on the curb.

That's when it hit you: you still had to go to work.

"Damn it I have to go! Lud what time is it?!" You said jumping up. Everything spun and you started tipping over as Ludwig caught you. You slightly melted into his strong arms, then realized what happened. You stood. Grabbing his arm you looked at his watch. It was 1, a half an hour after you had to be back.

"I know what you're thinking; you're NOT going back to work." Ludwig stated firmly.

"Shoot! I'm so going to be fired for this!" You said pacing slightly. You looked both ways and crossed the street slowly.

"Hey, come back here, I was talking to you!" the blonde said, running after you.

At this point you blocked him out; you had to get back to work. You finished crossing the street and kept walking as fast as you could down the sidewalk.

He kept talking, walking quickly after you. "I'm sure Beppe will understand. After all, you were almost run over by a car for Christ's sake."

Now you stopped. "WHAT?!"

"Uh, yeah that's how you blacked out in the first place."

"WHAT?!" You thought back. Let's see you were walking back after eating gelato and then you turned a corner, started crossing a street and then… "Oh my god Ludwig, you're right! What happened?"

"I saw the car before you and dove at you after you screamed, knocking us out of the path." He said plainly.

You gaped. "Ludwig…you…." You trailed off. "Saved me…" You looked down at your feet, suddenly feeling ashamed of how you had just acted toward him. "I'm sorry I-"

He cut you off. "No you're fine, you didn't know."

"Yeah but you…" Tears welled up in your eyes.

He stepped closer. "Hey, don't cry its fine."

Not even thinking about it you hugged him.

Surprised, he didn't hug back for a second. Gently he wrapped his arms around you. You could tell this was awkward for him, but you didn't care; you needed the hug. "How selfish…" you thought.

Thinking through it you leapt back. "Are you ok?!" You started searching him for scratches.

"I'm fine, a little bruised and a scratch on my hand. You're the one who has it worse; I knocked you over pretty hard." He said, rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed. "You have a small gash on your cheek, I sorta cleaned it off but we should wash it off better…"

You reached up and felt your face; he was right. A long scratch covered your cheek, and was still bleeding slightly.

You thought aloud. "Is that what I felt earlier?"

He turned red. "I- yeah probably, I…uh…cleaned it with my thumb…sorry."

"Oh no, it's fine I just…" you blushed slightly.

"Well we should head back and try to explain ourselves." Ludwig said.

"Oh yeah! Come on let's go!" You said walking quickly.

"Don't move so fast, you're still injured (f/n)!"

"I feel better don't worry!" You said.

Returning to the shop you did your best to look fine. You had to finish work and do training later.

There were no customers as you walked in. Beppe looked up as the two of you entered. He looked like he was going to scream his head off until he saw your condition.

"(f/n) what happened?!" He ran over to the two of you.

"An Italian driver, that's what." You said jokingly.

Ludwig spoke and elbowed you lightly. "What she means to say is we were crossing a street when we almost got hit by a car. We narrowly avoided it and got a bit scratched up."

"I'm sorry I'm so late, but I blacked out for a bit apparently…"

Your boss looked thoroughly surprised, except something crossed his eyes for a moment. "Oh my! Come into my office; let's get the two of you cleaned up!"

The three of you walked into the rather small room the left of the entrance of the shop. You made your way to the far end where a dark wood desk sat. Beautifully decorated awards cluttered the dark red walls. A file cabinet sat to the right of the desk and didn't match the room at all. It was still tiled in this room, though it was cleaner due to less people walking upon it. Boxes were stacked on the far wall behind the desk and piles of assorted things were scattered about. A coat rack held multiple coats and hats to the left as well as a table holding stacks of paper next to it. In other words this room was really cluttered.

"(f/n) roll up your sleeves so we can make sure there aren't any cuts." Lud said awkwardly. He fidgeted slightly.

"No, you go first." You said.

"Ladies first."

"Exactly, that's why you're going."

Germany shot you a "That'd better be a joke." look for a moment before stepping forward. He took his shirt off while you looked away blushing. He noticed but didn't say anything.

You turned back gradually and gasped. A large gash covered his chest and was bleeding heavily. How had you not seen that? Wouldn't it bleed through his shirt? Without thinking you grabbed his shirt and looked.

He turned red. "What are you doing?"

"For a large gash like that it had to have bleed through." You said nonchalantly. You found what you were looking for. Sure enough, it had started bleeding through but since his shirt was black, it was hard to see. You felt like an idiot.

You turned him, mad. "Oh yeah, I'm the one whose injured." You said sarcastically.

He turned away embarrassed. "This is why I wanted you to go first; I knew you'd be mad."

You puffed your cheeks out. "No shit I would be mad!"

Beppe spoke up next. "Hey, let's just calm down and focus ok?"

Ludwig and you responded at the same time. "Alright…"

"Can I go grab the yellow towel from the counter in the kitchen boss?" You asked.

"Yes it is, go ahead. I'm going to go and grab the first aid kit." Beppe said, leaving the room.

You left and retrieved the towel, got I wet and returned quickly. You walked over the German. "This is probably going to sting a little." You said, just above a whisper.

Dabbing the towel on his chest, he sucked in a breath.

"You ok? Am I hurting you? You asked.

He spoke quietly. "It's just really cold."

You giggled. "Sorry." Eventually you had to leave to rinse the towel. You came back and started dabbing again. "I think there's some gravel in the cut…"

Beppe re-entered the room. "Looks like I'm just in time then. I think there are some tweezers in the kit."

He walked over and opened the kit. Sure enough a pair of tweezers was nestled in between some gauze and the band aids. You grabbed them and walked back over to Ludwig.

"Ok, so this will probably hurt so just stay still." You said. Just as you were about to start, the bell rang in front. "Drat, a customer."

"Can you get that (f/n)? I can help…Ludwig correct?" Beppe said, turning to the German.

Luddy nodded. Beppe turned back to you and you stepped back. "Sure." And with that you left the room to take the customer's order.

~Ludwig's P.O.V.~

(f/n) take care of the customer that had just rang the bell.

Beppe turned to the blonde. "Now then, how about we get the gravel out?"

Ludwig just nodded in agreement. "What a day this out to be." He thought.

Beppe walked over. "(f/n) was right, this'll probably hurt a bit sir."

The German just nodded.

Beppe dug into the wound rather harshly, and Germany winced. The job continued and every so often Beppe would pull out a piece of gravel. Ludwig wouldn't have minded except for the man was being really brutal. The blue eyed man decided to say something.

"Is there a reason you're digging so harshly?" He asked, accidentally a bit too scornfully.

Beppe, who was shorter, looked up at him. Anger, as well as another emotion was in his eyes, but he kept his cool. "None in particular." Unfortunately he kept digging in the same fashion, maybe even harder.

"Was that…resentment I saw?" Ludwig thought.

Before he could say anything back (f/n) walked back in with quite a bit of orders.

"Beppe, there are a quite a lot of customers waiting; I guess the lunch rush has arrived." She said.

Beppe looked slightly disappointed that his "torture" was over. "Fine, I'll make the sandwiches. I think your friend here is pretty much cleaned up." And with that, Beppe walked out of the room and to the back of the restaurant.

"I had better mention this to (f/n)." He thought, but he thought it over again. "Actually maybe not, she might bring it up to Beppe and that would put her in a negative position…" He decided he would stay silent. (f/n) pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Stay there, I'll grab the gauze and then I think you'll be ok. Are there any scrapes anywhere else? And be honest this time!" She said, walking to the kit.

"No ma'am, there are no more cuts ma'am." He said teasingly

She scoffed. "You'd better hope so."

~Your P.O.V.~

"You'd better hope so." You said.

Walking back over to him you unrolled the gauze.

"Here old this end to your side while I wrap it." You demanded.

He grunted and grabbed the end you had indicated.

You wrapped the gauze gently around his chest, making sure you covered the wound nicely. Taking the pin that came with it, you pinned the other end on his opposite side when you came to the end of the role.

You patted his chest gently. "There that should do the trick." You stepped back to look at the tightly wrapped injury. Ludwig's face was a nice shade of scarlet.

"Is it too tight?" You asked.

"Nein, it feels fine."

"Now how should we go about your shirt…."You thought aloud.

"We can worry about that later; we should get you cleaned up."

"I feel fine though…well whatever." You started taking your shirt off.

Ludwig flipped. "WHAT are you doing?!"

You paused then laughed. "I'm wearing a tank top don't worry."

He let a breath out and cleared his throat. "Oh."

You finished and tossed the shirt on the desk. "Do you see anything?"

Ludwig gulped and started searching for cuts on your arms and legs. He found one on your left arm.

"Here's a small one, hold on a second." He said. He left the room with the towel and entered a minute later. He had rinsed it off. The blonde came back over to you and wiped your arm carefully.

You held your breath and he stopped. "You ok?"

"You weren't kidding when you said it was cold." You said through your teeth.

He smiled tentatively and continued. He grabbed a band aid and put it on slowly, then continued searching. He found nothing else.

"Do you mind checking my back quick? You don't have to if it's too weird." You asked.

You could tell he was nervous when he responded back. "Sure."

He lifted the back of your shirt slowly and you shivered at the sensation. Not sure if he noticed he continued. Just then, at the worst time possible, Beppe stepped back in. He looked generally shocked but looked you up and down slowly.

"Sorry if I… interrupted something." He said slowly, giving a harsh look at Ludwig.

Ludwig was so red it was hilarious. "What!? No! It's not what you're thinking!" He said, voice cracking slightly.

You laughed, blushing slightly. You turned to Beppe. "He was checking my back for scrapes, don't worry."

"Ah, I see." Beppe said.

"Was there anything Lud?" you asked, putting your shirt back down.

He shook his head; he seemed to have lost his voice.

"Well I think that's it then, I can get back to work now, Beppe."

"Not quite Bella, there's a gash on your cheek."

"Oh yeah, I forgot."

Ludwig shuffled over to you with the towel. He was still red but seemed more confident for some reason. You shrugged it off as he put his hand on your chin to lift your face up. As you blushed his gaze shifted from your eyes to your cheek where the cut lay.

Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Beppe's expression turn to anger. He sat there and watched though; he seemed to be thinking.

Ludwig wiped your cheek tenderly. "There's one piece of gravel in it." He stated, grabbing the tweezers. "This'll hurt a bit." He said, grabbing your arm loosely. You squirmed a bit and groaned.

"Sorry, but we can't leave it in there; it'll get infected."

"Yes, I know…" you said pouting.

The bell rang outside again and Beppe left the rooms somewhat begrudgingly.

Ludwig spoke under his breath "Good riddance."

"What do you mean? You asked.

"He watches every move we make it seems." He said quietly.

"Oh…"

Ludwig went back to work, pinching your cheek slightly so he could get at the cut better.

"On three ok? One…Two…Three." He said calmly. He reached into the cut quickly, grabbed the piece of stone, and retrieved it.

You winced and hissed. "Ow!"

He threw the stone away. "There it's done. Better?"

"Sure, why not?" You said.

He grabbed another bandage, this time bigger, and placed it on your cheek. "There, I believe we are finished."

You let a breath out. That's when you realized you had Lud's arm in a death grip. "Shoot, sorry!"

He smiled weakly. "It's fine, go put your shirt back on before Beppe returns; he looked at you weird and I don't like it."

You giggled and grabbed your shirt. "Overprotective already?" You slid it on, careful to avoid the bandages.

He nodded. "Beppe makes me feel uneasy, alright?"

You smiled. "Alright. Now what about your shirt?"

"Hmmm…" he thought a bit. "I think I can just rinse it off . I'll throw it in the wash when I get home."

"Won't it look weird walking down the street with a soaked shirt?"

"I didn't say it would look normal, but it'll look better then walking down the street like this." He said, motioning to his bare chest."

"True." You said. "Let me go rinse it off, it won't take long."

"Ok, thanks." He said, sitting on the desk.

You left and went into the back by the sink after getting some weird looks.

Beppe was cooking when you entered. "I'll be right there to help you; Ludwig and I are just about done. I have to wash his shirt quick."

Beppe nodded and continued what he was doing without looking at you.

After washing the shirt as well as you could, you went back to the office.

"Here you are." You said, tossing the shirt at Ludwig.

He caught it with ease. "Thank you."

"No prob."

Ludwig inched back into it. Afterwards he opened the door for you. "Ready to go?"

You walked out. "Yes. Thanks for everything Ludwig, we'll talk more about this later ok?"

"Mhmm, I'll see you later then?"

"Sure."

"Ok be careful, (f/n); don't work too hard, I'm still against you working in the first place." He said plainly before walking out of the shop.

You walked back to the cash register where Beppe had his hands full.

"I'm ready to work again, Beppe. Sorry about all of this."

"It's ok Signorina, let's finish todays work shall we?"

You nodded, got behind the cash register, and started working ready for this day to be over.
