Ever since first introducing Vant in Surprise, I haven't really talked all that much about him. I mean the only other time I mentioned him was in Make-Out and that was for a second or so. Therefore I decided to dedicate a whole Drabble to him that wasn't Surprise. I might put some Tucker in here but it mostly Caboose, Wash and Vant. I really did feel as though as I was not paying Vant enough attention and since I introduced him once, I had to bring him back. Besides who would not love a panther cub?

Pairing: Caboose/Wash

When Wash woke up that morning, he immediately fell into his routine that he did every morning. Wash sluggishly sat up in bed, letting the bed sheets pool at his waist, where Caboose also had his arm wrapped around him tightly. Wash had to shrug the arm off before climbing out of bed himself. He slowly got dressed before heading out of the room and into the kitchen where he knew Vant would waiting for him. Sure enough the cub was waiting for him eagerly by his food bowl.

Wash set out to make breakfast for the team as well as Vant. Wash always served Vant cooked meat, to give him the protein and nutrients he needed to grow, all while diminishing the craving for raw meat that Vant was bound to have. It was the best way to teach Vant that eating people was not a good thing to do and the panther cub actually knew better than to harm any of the Blues or Reds. Which Wash was relieved about. Mainly because he wouldn't want Vant to get older and be blood thirsty and then they would have to kill him for it.

Wash was done with Vant's breakfast and went ahead and served it to the patient cub happily awaiting its food to be brought to him. Wash set it in front of Vant and watched as the cub waited for the command to go ahead and eat. Wash then commanded Vant to dig in and enjoyed how Vant listened to him. Now only if he could get Caboose and Tucker to do the same. After their breakfast was done, Wash called the rest of his teammates to have breakfast. They all ate together, Vant getting done first. The cub moved to the foot of where Wash was sitting, purring up at him happily, pleased with his breakfast he had been served.

Once Wash and the others were done getting, it had been Tucker's turn to wash the dishes along he really didn't want to. However Wash told him that he would not be having drills that day so it was only fair. Tucker reluctantly went to clean the dirty dishes for Wash, not really wanting to. Wash wanted to spend the day with Caboose and Vant, so he decided against training that day.

Wash moved into the living area where the couch was. He was followed by Caboose who wanted to draw again. Caboose sprawled across the floor with his coloring book and crayons while Wash laid slightly across the couch. He made space for Vant to move to sit with him on the couch. The panther cub climbed up on the couch and moved under Wash's hand to be petted on just the way he liked. Wash smiled at Vant's adorable purring. Silently thanking Caboose once again for bringing him here in the first place.

They sat on the couch for hours, Wash playing with Vant, keeping the cub happy until he had worn himself out and was ready for a nap. Wash scratched Vant's stomach until the cub had fallen asleep against the couch arm. Wash then carefully stood from the couch and went to lay next to Caboose on the floor. He laid on his stomach and pressed himself into Caboose's warm side.

"Thank you so much for finding Vant for me Caboose. I really do love having him around." Wash told Caboose and picked up a crayon and began to color along Caboose. Wash could faintly here Tucker move around in the kitchen, most likely looking for a snack before dinner was supposed to be served. Caboose smiled and sat his crayon down next to his picture and pushed himself up some.

"You're welcome Wash." Caboose told him and raised his arm that was next to Wash, indicating him to come closer to him. Wash rolled over until he was positioned under Caboose perfectly. Caboose let his hand drop back down as they starred at each other. Caboose had a sweet smile of innocence on his face, Wash was smiling up at him with the same expression. That of love.

Being in the perfect position to totally make out, that's what they had planned to do, but Tucker had came in to tell Wash that he was hungry and ready for dinner. So Wash got up from the bed, walking over to take Vant into his arms and put him in the cat bed that Wash had set up for him in the corner of the kitchen. Wash was more than glad to have a companion around that doesn't complain every second of the day and needed to be watched over like Tucker and Caboose. Honestly Wash didn't know how he would make it if he didn't have Vant to play with and keep him sane.

This one is so short! I love it though it was really short. Anyway thanks again to all of those who have reviewed, which isn't much but I don't really mind. As long as I know that people are still reading my story I don't mind. Well it is very cold here in Kentucky, probably not as cold as other states that I feel really bad for. However that will not stop this Anemic, Hemophilic(girls can get hemophilia too)girl with Hematophobia(not sure how that's spelled) from getting cold in like 70 degree weather. The temperature in Kentucky is like 30's. I am so miserable and I have so much problems with me… Well you guys don't care about that so goodbye and Review!
