~Here is the next installment of the story :). Now, I know what you're thinking, "IT TOOK FOREVER!" Yeah...I know, I'm so sorry. I couldn't think of ideas, couldn't find the time with exams, and I wasn't really in the mood to write. But I have 2 chapters now written, I'll post the next one hopefully next week (to provide suspense hehehe). Also, please message me if you have any corrections or tips, I would love it :) Another thing, please tell me if its getting boring, I'm concerned its getting to be monotonous. ^^' But other than that, enjoy~ (Also I forgot to do this for the previous chapters, Hetalia isn't mine blah blah I own nothing and all the products used aren't mine blah blah credit to owners etc.)~

~Your P.O.V.~

The day went by surprisingly fast and before you knew it work had ended. Luckily, Beppe had made no moves toward you and you were feeling perfectly normal, except you knee was bugging you. Dismissing it,you took your apron off and hung it up on the rack.

"Goodnight boss, I'm heading out!" You yelled to the back room.

He yelled back. "Wow is it already 5? Huh, I guess it is. Alright, have a wonderful evening (f/n). Make sure to tell me if you're not feeling well and can't work tomorrow."

"Will do!" You said, exiting the building. You let out a sigh of relief. Walking fast you went to the market that Suzanne worked in. You could smell it from around the corner. The familiar smell of freshly made breads, recently harvested fruits, vegetables, and herbs in the market hit you, making you drool a bit. Turning the corner, you looked at the welcoming and colorful market. People bustled around, buying goods and talking amongst themselves. You easily found Suzanne and made your way over to her stand. Like normal, no customers were at her stand.

"Why is your stand always so lonely compared to everyone else's?" You asked, approaching her stand.

She looked up from her book. "Sweetie if I knew the answer I would tell you." She chuckled.

Smiling, you responded. "I just dropped by to talk a bit before I buy some groceries myself."

"Indeed, you owe me the story of the date with Feliciano." She squinted as she looked at you. "Looks like you have something else on your mind….and on your face! What happened dear?"

"Ok first, it wasn't a date. Second I'll tell you the Feliciano story that one's shorter…" You told her everything and she listened intently. Afterward she spoke. "Well that's not nearly as interesting as I thought it would be. You and Ludwig make a better couple anyway." She winked.

"We aren't dating!" you said blushing.

"But you wish you were, don't you, hun?"

"Yes. I mean no. I mean…well..sorta."

Suzanne cackled. "Oh (f/n) you're hilarious."

You turned red. "Wha-"

Suzanne cut you off. "So why won't you tell me what you're feeling now? And tell me the story of the gash on your cheek while you're at it."

You sighed, not knowing which to talk about first. You decided the car accident was probably more important.

The whole story took about 15 minutes and Suzanne's eyes were growing wider and wider the father the story went.

At the end she felt your head. "You shouldn't have gone to work; you should go home and rest! That was a stupid move, and I can't believe Ludwig, out of all people, would allow you to!" She looked at you sternly. You flinched a bit. She was probably right, even though you felt fine. "After you get groceries I want you to go straight home, do you hear me?" People started looking at the two of you because of Suzanne's yelling.

"But Ludwig's coming over later and we're training."

"OH NO YOU'RE NOT!" She yelled. "That's a terrible thing to do to yourself, and Ludwig shouldn't either; he sounds like he's more hurt than you are!"

You never thought Suzanne could get so worked up.

"Bu-"

"No! In fact, I'll help you shop and take you home. What time is Ludwig coming?""

"7pm, why?"

"I'll stay at your house until then, I'd like to get a word with him too."

"No, you don't have to, I won't go."

"Yes, I do."

"What about your shop?"

She put the closed sign up. "It's not like I get any customers anyway." She shrugged.

She stood up and cracked her back. "Let's go, ok?"

You let out a breath; there was no arguing with her. "Sure."

The two of you roamed the market and you and Suzanne bought some produce, bread, a half a pound of ham, and some medical stuff. Suzanne moved quickly; she seemed eager to get to your house. She slowed down for you as the two of you walked the sidewalk back to your house.

"You doing ok?" she asked.

"I feel fine."

"Alright, so tell me what's up between you and Ludwig?"

"Well I…I'm not entirely sure. He's sweet…and attractive…and smart….and a good driver….not to mention he's buff…"

She laughed. "Yes, he's a fine young man."

"I'm not sure how to feel, I thought about It earlier and got flustered; however, I'm not sure if I like him that way or not."

"Hmmm…" Suzanne thought, "Well, you have plenty of time to decide."

"Not really."

"What do you mean?"

"He leaves back for his country in about two weeks."

"That bastard! He never told me." Suzanne huffed.

"Yeah…"

"Can I tell you something? Just don't let Ludwig know I told you; he'd have a fit." Suzanne said, looking up at you.

"Hm? What is it?"

"Well I wasn't going to tell you until you decided you liked Ludwig-"

"Who said that was going to happen?"

"Me. Anyway, like I was saying, I wasn't going to tell you until you liked Ludwig, but now we are kind of in a rush now."

You scoffed at her. "That's a rash assumption."

She chuckled and shook your arm. "Not really, now would you let me tell you?"

You puffed your cheeks out and stopped. "Sure."

Suzanne also stopped and looked you straight in the eyes. He eyes sparkled with the low sun reflecting in them. She smiled and patted your cheek.

"You want to try to guess first, or are you still completely oblivious?"

"Oblivious to what?"

"Ludwig's feelings for you, of course."

You gawked. "WHAT?"

"You really are oblivious. In fact, the boy is quite infatuated with you."

Your mouth dropped. "What? No way, you're mistaken. Someone as great as Ludwig would never like me; he could do a whole lot better anyway…" You trailed off, looking at your feet.

Suzanne made you look at her. "Now don't deject yourself like that, you are an amazing young women, and if anyone tells you different, I'll slug them. You'd be even better if you didn't make dumb decisions." She hinted from earlier's incident.

You sighed. "God, I said I was sorry."

"That's not the point." She stated flatly.

"Even if we did both like each other, A country and a person can't be together. He has duties, not to mention a wwaaayyy longer life span!" Your voice raised a bit.

"While these are perfectly logical reasons,. I'm not telling you should be with him, I'm just merely giving you the option."

"Well now if I don't end up liking him I'll feel bad..."

"That won't happen; I know it."

"No, you don't."

"Have a been wrong yet?"

"Well, no but-"

"See?"

"Besides, how do you even know that?"

"The dear ran into me on the street a few nights back on the street. God, it was probably around 12 in the morning. He had been coming back from your house he later told me. He couldn't sleep, so I took him back to my house where we had tea. He told me his feelings for you and that he couldn't sleep because he couldn't get you off of his mind. He was worried he was really awkward around you, and even concerned that HE wasn't good enough for YOU." The two of you had started walking again.

There was a long silence.

After a bit, you spoke. "W-wow…I had no idea…"

Suzanne just laughed and patted your arm. "It's alright."

You stopped again. "No it's not! Now I'm going to be awkward because I know he likes me!"

"Oh don't be so dramatic; you'll be fine. I'll help you. And when-

"IF." You corrected.

"Ok IF you end up liking Ludwig, all you have to do is tell me. And him." She laughed.

A comfortable silence fell over the two of you, and soon your house appeared and grew bigger. You unlocked the gate and walked up to the front door. Unlocking that as well you let Suzanne enter first. She gasped and you rushed inside.

"What's wrong?!"

"It's so..EMPTY!"

"Oh yeah I don't get my furniture until Saturday." You shrugged as you closed the door.

"So where should I lay you down then?"

"Pardon me?"

"I want to make sure nothing's wrong. You said Ludwig tested you for a concussion already correct?

"Mhmm."

"Well that's good, at least he did that much."

You sat on the carpet.

"He checked you for scrapes too?"

"Yes, it was awkward for him though."

"Are you sure he checked EVERYWHERE?"

You blushed. "Well there's a certain extent that he can't but-"

"Does anywhere hurt specifically?"

You focused for a second. "My knee is throbbing, but I bet it's just bumped."

"Roll your pant leg up; we should make sure."

You nodded and rolled up your pant leg. You gasped a bit. A giant bump had formed and was a reddish purple.

"See what did I tell you?!" Suzanne said.

"I-it didn't bug me before…"

"That means nothing." She sighed. "Looks like I have yet another bone to pick with Ludwig."

"No, don't mention that!" You interrupted. "If he likes me as much as you said, he'll hate himself forever! He was over protective enough around my boss…"

"What wrong with your boss? And I hope you know I'm telling him anyway." Suzanne said coming back with ice wrapped in your orange towel that had been in the kitchen. She put the ice on your knee. It hurt. BAD.

"Ow!" You took it off.

"Keep that on or it'll get worse."

You growled and put it back on slowly. It burned and you hissed.

She gave you a look.

"What?"

"I asked you what's wrong with your boss?

"Oh its nothing."

"Doesn't sound like it if Ludwig is concerned."

"He's concerned with everything."

"Yeah, he is overprotective, but I still want to know." The old women stated plainly.

"Ugh fine; my boss is a bit of a creep and Ludwig thinks it's a big deal."

"It is a big deal! If he tries anything let me and Ludwig know immediately. We'll put him in his place." She looked at you quite seriously

"I fear Ludwig would go too far with that. My boss doesn't seem fond of him…"

She laughed. "Probably."

Another silence.

"What time is it?" You asked Suzanne.

The seamstress looked at her watch. "It quarter to 7, (f/n)."

"Ok, thanks." You prayed for Ludwig's sake. It sounded like he was going to get disciplined even more severely than you. You really didn't want Suzanne to tell Ludwig about your knee. You knew he would feel terrible.

The room was silent once again and you scooted a few feet to the wall so you could lean against it.

The minutes went by like hours. Suzanne was talking but you weren't paying much attention. You suddenly felt tired and laid your head back so you were looking at the ceiling.

"You feeling ok?" Suzanne asked.

"Yeah, I feel fine; I just realized how tired I am." You smiled weakly.

"Good, you'll sleep well then."

"Hey Suzanne?" You asked.

"Yes?"

"Thanks for helping me. And thanks for caring for me; you make me feel at home here."

"It's no problem dear. I always wanted to have a little girl, and now I feel as though I have one. I enjoy looking after you and Ludwig; even if you two are a pain in the ass."

You laughed and rubbed the back of your neck. "How come you never had children?" You asked.

"Well, I was married once but-"

The sound of the doorbell went off. It echoed through the house and finally went silent. Suzanne got up, walked out of the room and to the front door. You heard the door open and two pairs of feet inside the house, as well as muffled talking. They walked back into the room and you dreaded what was about to come.
