So at first I was a little worried about how I was going to do this one. When I thought of the idea for Baking I was very hopeful something amazing would come out of it. However all of that hopefulness has drained from me when I realized I had nothing to really write about. However it is very important that I get these done. Very important!
Anyway I hope that you like what you are about to see. Mainly because I am not so sure myself if it is going to be good. I can hope for a miracle though.

It didn't happen that often but when it did, Wash was ready for it. Ever so often, Wash would put himself in the mood to bake. Like he said, it wasn't often but he still did enjoy when it came around. The main reason why Wash, and everyone in the valley really, enjoyed his baking mood, was because when Wash felt the need to bake, he baked. Meaning he didn't stop until he was tired of baking. Therefore he would end up baking up all different kinds of cakes, cookies, cupcakes, brownies and so forth.
So when Wash was sitting around one day, reading the same old books like he always did, trying to fight off bored, he began to want to bake. This was one of his strongest urges he had had in a while and Wash was thankful for it. So he went and informed Caboose that he was going to start baking, he told Caboose because he knew that Caboose would want to bake with him. The taller blue soldier loved to help Wash bake.
"Caboose. I'm going to start baking. Want to help?" Wash asked although he already knew the answer he would receive. Of course Caboose wanted to help him. Like he expected, Caboose sprang up gleefully and ran over to Wash.
"I want to help Washingtub! I want to help so much! Can I please?" Caboose asked excitedly. The blonde soldier was practically bouncing with joy. Wash smiled lightly and motioned for Caboose to follow him. They walked through the base until they had reached the kitchen. Wash commanded Caboose to get most of the ingredients while he got the rest. Soon all of the supplies they would need to make the baked goods were spread out on the counters in front of them.
"What do you want to make first?" Wash asked as he surveyed their options in his head. There was so many options they had to choose from, but in reality they were limited on what they could make. Wash knew they had an abnormally large supply of chocolate Cacao, so Wash decided on Brownies first. Fun and easy to make.
Wash pointed to everything he would need silently, showing Caboose what to get for him. Caboose nodded and got what Wash had asked for as Wash himself got out a bowl to mix everything up. Wash had extended knowledge on cooking as such and knew exactly what he needed to make the brownies. He had everything ready and told Caboose to turn the stove on. One the batter was ready, Wash took a quick taste.
"What do you think Caboose?" Wash asked holding out the bowl for Caboose to take a taste. Caboose swiped his clean finger, Wash made him wash his hands before they even started, and licked his finger clean of the batter. The delicious batter was sweet on his taste buds and Caboose smiled at it. Caboose nodded, silently telling Wash that it was ready to cook. Wash then poured that batter into a pan and then put the pan into the oven. He set the timer for the brownies, before moving on to the next baked good.
Wash made two small bowls of batter, one chocolate and the other vanilla. Caboose pulled out the cupcake pan, putting the cupcake holders into each hole in the pan. Wash poured a small amount of the vanilla into each, before adding a smaller amount of chocolate. This was to make marble cupcakes. Wash placed the cupcake pan in beside the brownies, knowing they would get down around the same time.
"Want to make icing?" Wash asked as he placed the brownie and cupcake mix bowls into the sink to be washed later. Caboose nodded and gather the ingredients needed. Wash did one set of icing, and instructed Caboose through making his own batch. The first had not turned out the way he wanted but Wash helped him again to make a much better bowl of icing. There was a distinctive ring of the timer that let Wash know that the brownies and cupcakes were done.
"I'll get them Wash!" Caboose said happily, making sure to pick up the pans with a rag over his hand to prevent injury. They were both set aside to cool. Wash then moved to the next baked good. Cookies, chocolate chip to be precise. Wash let Caboose put the cookie dough into oddly shaped cookies and place in the oven while he started on mixing some cake batter. Just like he had down with the cupcakes, he placed the cake in the oven next to the cookies and set the timer.
"Let's icing the cupcakes." Wash suggested, determining that they were cool enough to pipe some icing on each cupcakes. They had only used half of the icing, so to save some for the cake. They placed the brownies and cupcakes under a light to keep them warm until they were ready to be eaten. Caboose smiled at their work, knowing that they were almost done.
Wash then began to make filling for pie. Caboose liked apple pie so that's what Wash would make for him. Caboose cut up the fresh apples as Wash prepared the crust. They set the crust in the oven along with the other pastries to warm the crust up some. Wash then proceeded to make the pie top and cook the filling. Once again, a ring was heard from beside the stove to indicate that everything was done baking.
Caboose again got everything out of the oven like Wash had asked him. He handed the pie crust over to Wash for him to fill and finish while Caboose set the cake aside to cool some. The cookies were placed on a different plate, to make them more presentable. After icing the cake everything was ready to be served. Wash called for Tucker to go tell the Reds they had cooked.
While the Teal soldier was off telling the Reds, Wash and Caboose set up the table for everyone. Caboose had brought in some old chairs to join those at the table. Wash set out six plates and glasses of milk. He set the baked goods in the middle of the table for easy access. Then Tucker and the Reds joined them, praising Wash and Caboose on their hard work that was much appreciated. Like that the Reds and Blues ate together like a family, all because Wash had the urge to bake for everyone that day.

I made myself hungry writing this. I apologize because I feel like this chapter was very…dumb. I don't know why would anyone want to read a story about people baking? I wouldn't. Although I did write it.
By the way I have done what I wrote about. I have made Brownies, Cupcakes, Cookies, Cake and Pie all in a row one day. It was for my friends church group. They loved it and I was happy to do something like that for them.
Anyway, Review if you liked it. BYE!
