This is the sequel, so make sure you read the predecessor first!

Chapter 6: "Agreement"

Women...

In my dictionary, women are delicate, caring, beautiful, and have boobs.

This creature I'm sitting with was beautiful and have nice boobs. It also cared about her daughters and had a very delicate manner. Given that, it was normal for me to group it into 'women' as in my dictionary. But this throbbing glance and aura she emitted was felt evil and dark. It's as if she could kill anything just by looking. This had made me rethink about grouping her into the word 'women'.

I gulped because I couldn't hold my fear and I tried to make the atmosphere easier, "Ahaha... What do you mean you are the mastermind, Shimada-san?"

"I am the one who made Minami avoids you everyday," said her as she stirred her tea.

I was stunned by her words. She? The one who had made Minami acted strange? What's her point? Why did she do that?

I clenched my teeth then asked her, "Why?"

"Why, you asked? Of course it's to drive you far away from my daughters."

"What?"

"You are a bad leverage for them. You corrupted them with your idiocy; you endangered them—two young girls— by staying overnight at Kyoto, which was miles away from here, and more importantly... You had made my daughters forget about me."

She sipped her tea calmly. Shimada-san might be right. I might be a bad influence for Minami and Hazuki because I am an idiot. I also often do reckless things with them.

Although we only wanted to have some fun, it really was dangerous for them to stay for a night outside the town. I should have ordered a train ticket for the day we arrived at Kyoto instead of the ticket for the day after. I guess I was really a dimwit.

"If that's the problem, I am sorry. I know I don't have any rights to stay with them at such far place..."

I can't finish my words because she suddenly cut in.

"What if something happened to them? What if someone kidnap them? Would you do something about that? You are weak. You won't be able to do anything to save them! What if you accidentally spent all your money so that you can't bring my daughters home again!? What can you do to make money? You are an idiot."

"..."

"That's exactly why I said you are bad influence for them. You can't even answer my sentence," she smirked. "If you dare approach them again…"

"I'll kick you out of the school."

"WHAT!?" I yelled. My voice was echoing throughout this empty restaurant.

"I happen to have that much of authorization at your school, Yoshii-kun."

"Ugh… Th—this isn't fair!"

"Hmph. You need to learn that this world will never be fair…"

So, it's the end? I won't get to see Minami or Hazuki-chan anymore? How cruel. Reality is cruel. Just last Saturday. Just last Saturday, Minami, Hazuki-chan, and I were as close as we never been but now look! Look how easy things had changed for us!

"That's that. I'll be leaving now, Yoshii-kun. You better be careful…"

… I can't take this…

"If you ever made contact with Minami or Hazuki—"

"WAIT there you damn witch," I stood, with anger exploding in my heart. "You think that I'm going to sit still after hearing you, some random woman, trying to control my life?"

She glanced, "Oh? What do you want to say then?"

"Don't you think that by doing all this will cause trouble for your daughters themselves?"

"… Explain," now she turned at me again, crossing her arms.

"You maybe don't know this because you are too busy taking care of your fine career, but… Minami was lonely," I clenched my fists, remembering those times during my freshmen year when I tried to befriend Minami. "She had it hard, getting different kinds of treatment from other students or teachers because she was a foreigner. It's too sad even to try to remember it." I'm telling her the truth. She had to know more about her daughter because to me, she looked like the type that only paid attention to her job.

"Even now, she only had very limited friends!" –As far as I remember. "If you were about to erase me, her friend, from her life, it will only decrease that already-few-numbers and worsen the situation! Do you even really care about her?"

"…" She didn't answer.

It really hit my nerves when she told me not to get near of Minami ever again. Who did she think she is? This is my life, so she didn't have any rights to dictate me about it!

After a brief second of silence, she spoke again, "Very well then. I will allow you to interact with Minami…"

"Is that so? Well, I'm glad you…"

"—UNDER one condition."

"What is it?"

"You and Minami must get into 10—No… 5 best at Fumitzuki High in this second semester's mid-term test."

"WHAT!? But mid-term is only by next week and I must practice for the drama which held by the week after tha—"

"That's my condition if you want to gain my acknoledgement," she cut in. "If you can't fulfill it…"

"I'm taking Minami with me to Germany so she could get her old friends again. That way, she will eventually forget your existence," she said nonchalantly.

"Tch…"

I guess this is it. There's no other way out. It seemed like a mission impossible for me, but for the sake of her, I must do my best efforts!

"How is it? You scared? The deal was pretty much to your advantage, Yoshii-kun... Because I will allow you to interact with my daughters until the time comes when I pick her up to Germany," she grinned.

I gulped before I said, "Hmph. What a foolish deal. It's WITHIN my reach," I replied her grin.

"The most idiot student at school, trying to leap into a best 5 at his school. Oh, agony," she turned her back on me again. "Oh, one more thing. Do not tell Minami -or anyone else- about our secrets… Otherwise, I will kick you out of the school," she walked away for good this time, paying for our table and then left the restaurant.

I could see through the window that Minami and Hazuki were waiting for Shimada-san outside. They seemed to talk to each other and suddenly, Minami's face were enlightened as she smiled. She hugged her mother at the very moment, shedding a tear of happiness.

I didn't know why but I felt like it was my job to protect this smile and I didn't want to lose it ever again.

Later on, I finally got back and threw myself on the couch soon as I reach the living room.

…. Hmmmm….. Wow….

WHAT THE HECK HAVE I DONE?

Now that I think about it, It's IMPOSSIBLE for me to get through the big 5! I couldn't even match Yuuji's overall grade! To get to the big 5, I literally had to beat class A students! Aaagh what should I do, what should I do? At this rate, she will take Minami back to Germany!

*Rrrrr* *Rrrrr*

Suddenly, my phone was vibrating. Man, that was scaring the hell out of me. I stopped myself from pulling my hair's root—because I was so frustrated— to take a look at my phone that I was in my bag. Who would send me email at this hour? Oh, It was an email from Himeji-san... Wait, there are 4 mails from her!? My phone was in silence mode when I had the conversation with Shimada-san so I didn't hear that there were 4 incoming mails.

First email, was saying, "Akihisa-kun, where are you going? Kinoshita-kun was waiting for you…"

10 minutes after that, she sent another mail, "Akihisa-kun, they have decided to delay the practice… Are you feeling sick? You should have taken a rest…."

The next email was sent 5 minutes after that, "Akihisa-kun… When you are awake, don't forget to eat dinner, okay?"

I felt really bad for her. I mean, we were already girlfriend-boyfriend but I still hadn't paid much attention to her while Himeji-san, on the other hand, really cared about me. And then there comes the 4th email. It had just came in, which means it was sent an hour after the 3rd mail.

"Akihisa-kun, do you really like me…?"

To reviewer RADEON360 = This story takes time right after its prequel, so this fic should be happening somewhere after Volume 9.5 of the Light Novel, chapter "Me, Kids, and Summoned Beast". In other words, it's long after the last episode of the anime's season 2, if my calculation is right. In other words... THIS HAPPENS ON THE ANIME'S SEASON 3? No. No. Nope. Just no. But what if this is made into one of season 3's episode!? Oh I'd do 100 push-ups and 100 sit-ups everyday!
