I'm sorry that this took forever and a day to write. I kept rewriting it. And I'm also sorry that it's short, but hopefully I can get another one out soon. I love y'all!

(Ayane / Anne) I was pretty startled and angry when I came to. Yuki had snuck Michael out of our room and brought him to me. "What happened, mommy?"

"I don't know." Was all I could say to him. Honestly, I had no idea what had happened. I stayed inside those four walls for what felt like days. Michael and I's access to each other was very restricted, and when I could see him I did not want to let him go.

Eventually, Headmaster Cross summoned me to his office. When he asked for more on my past, I kept many of the darker parts of my past secret from the headmaster, but admitted to the major three: 1) I am half-werewolf; 2) I was forced to feed vampires; 3) I am a runaway from America.

Headmaster Cross sighed, but did not speak for a moment. "Are you going to tell anyone in the Day Class?"He asked, surprising me. I expected a 'Get out of my school, cursed half-breed!' to be perfectly honest.

"No." He nodded contently.

"To be safe, I'm transferring you into the Night Class, miss Fujikawa." I was shocked.

"Why?"

"Suppose you transform eventually. Could you control it?" He inquired.

The sad thing is, I didn't know then. If I transformed, would I tear the school apart, or would I be able to get away before anyone noticed? "Are you going to tell them about me?"

He shook his head. "They don't really need to know."

"But they'll know about Makoto." I point out worriedly. I did not want vampires knowing about a Wolf's Rain child.

"That's a given, miss Fujikawa."

"...Letterman." I breathed. He gave me a questioning look, and I elaborated. "My real name is Anne Letterman."

"You'll always be Ayane Fujikawa here." I bowed and left the room.

Yuki waited outside the main building. "My father told me about your transference." She said sadly. "You'll come out to see me, won't you?"

"Yeah." That was all my mind could muster.

"Zero's already moved your belongings to the Moon Dorms. Kaname will help you from there."

"And Michael?"

"Waiting in your old room."

My steps were long but slow. How would I tell Michael that he would be surrounded by our enemies?

Michael sat on the bare bed when I opened the door. "Hey bud."

He looked up at me sadly. "What's going on, mommy?"

"We changing dorms."

His cloudy sea eyes narrowed into slits. "We're going to be around them, aren't we?"

I nodded. I drew him into a hug. "I'll keep you safe, baby boy."

He wrapped his little arms around my neck and I carried him out. At this point, I wanted people to see him. If he were to go missing, I wanted a lot of people looking for him.

A lot of the students saw us and began whispering about me being a whore or something. A few stood at my defense, but the majority thought that he was a willing product of love.

I crossed the bridge to our new dorms and the smell of blood struck like lightening. Kaname waited for me at the doors, along with many of his - our classmates. They all seemed surprised by Michael holding onto me monkey style. "Is this your brother?" Kaname asked politely.

I shook my head carefully as to keep him with me. "This is Michael, my son."

There was a spark of recognition in Kaname's eyes when I said my son's true name. "What?"

"Nothing." He whispered, ushering the female vampires to help me with him.

I refused proficiently. "Where's my room?"

"We'll show you." One of the girls offered, taking her hand and putting it on the small of my back.

I could hear one of the vampires talking with Kaname. "Do you know him, Lord Kaname?"

"She whispered his name when she was unconscious." I blushed slightly and turned off my hearing. 'Can I trust these vampires?' I asked the woman in my head.

'I think so. I can't tell well.' She answered. 'The one they refer to as Lord seems to be safe enough.'

'Alright.' That was all I needed. I would keep up my guard, but let them in a little bit.
