"Daxter, we've got the zoomer working for more than 5,000 degrees. " Keira started to point out the improvements of the zoomer she made with the power cells from the last time. "But this time Jak will stay with us this time. Jak was already at the Red sage's lab/hut. "Hit the water balloons, it'll keep you cool." Keira got her ow coolness back too. Now more confident around Daxter. "And don't forget to turn on the warp gate next to Gol's lab." Keira winked at him.

He had to admit, he was more 'better looking' than before. He had to say a thanks to the blue eco. But he was still grossed out whenever she does that to him, or anything close to it. She was an ananimal. Hey, before you make a judgment. Remember, he was into Jak first. If anything, he could say he was in love with Jak. But if Keira ever did turn human, it'll be like the past few weeks with Jak never happened.

Keira would be in the way again, and then, HE would have to fall in love with her. Rule number one, you don't date your best friend. But right now, the more powerful one was, rule number two, you don't date ananimals. So the only thing protecting him was that, for now...

Keira started snapping her furry fingers/paws in front of Daxter. He started to shake his head and focus on Keira. He assume that he zoomed out for a minute or two. Mostly because Keira was also saying his name a couple times too.

"Do you got it Daxter?" Keira asked almost trying to sound like an angel.

"Uh..." Daxter brain buffered, "No." He dropped the word with no emotions.

Keira sighed heavily, ruining the perfect angel image. "Get all the balloons you can, it a long trip, and a very hot one too." She shorten the speech. Keira turn around but stop and turned around for a second only. "Good luck, Daxter." Keira winked, yet again, making Daxter more sick than he was. She walked away, swinging her tail left, to right, but with a little more sway than usual.

Daxter turned around and faced the heat, literally.

Daxter jumped off the zoomer, collected the power cell as well. Daxter turned back and looked at the course he beat. He chuckled because of it. Keira was right about it being long and hot. He walked over to the button and stepped on it, cause it to activate the warp gate. He leaned against the beams that supported the warp gate, waiting for everyone. Keira jumped out looking sad as ever.

What's wrong? And where's, short, green, and wrinkly, with Jak?" Daxter asked arching his red eyebrow.

"It was terrible!Goal and Maia came into and took them! Daddy told me to hide so I can tell you that their going to cut into Jak and use her DNA to make the eco last longer! That means they've been spying on us since we arrived at the red eco sage's lab!" Keira cried out dripping a few tears onto the floor. Daxter was gonna be upset, of course. But he started to panic as well.

"We've gotta go stop them!" Daxter yelled.

"Daxter! I'm still a rat!"

Daxter paused, she was right. "Okay, you go back to the red sage's lab, and hide. They might come back and take you." Daxter said. Keira stood still and quite. "GO, NOW." Daxter yelled at her. She ran and jumped though the portal. He watched for a second than ran into Golf's lab. He looked around for a bit. "JAK? SAMOS? WHERE ARE YOU GUYS?" He screams out.

"I'm up here!" Samos yelled. "I'm fine, but GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!" He growled.

Daxter looked up. "Where's Jakky!?" Daxter yelled in return.

"She right by me! But she's knocked out and beat up!"

"I'LL GET HER AS FAST AS YOU CAN!"

Daxter yelled and ran to get her.
