M is for Marriage
What is Marriage? Some believe it's the next step for two people in a relationship. It's a symbol for their love, that it's everlasting. Others might believe it's just something that has to happen in order to move on in life. As if there life is never complete if they are not married. You have those who may believe Marriage, is the worst thing that anyone could ever possiblely do. Then, you have Roxas' definition of Marriage. 'Putting the pieces together so one could see a better reflection.' Most of the other definitions were okay, but they didn't fit Roxas and Axel's relationship. You have Roxas who was use to being alone, he didn't have many friends, and was use to being picked on. Then you had Axel who was an orphan, who eventually ran away from the orphanage. They were both broken and they both slowly put each other back together. Now it was time to see that better reflection.
Roxas sat in his dressing room, starring at the Mirror. His cheeks we're flushed and he was pretty sweaty. Today was the day that he and Axel we're to be wedded. "Com' On Roxas pull yourself together." The blond slapped his face. He was desperate to calm himself down. He closed his eyes and took another deep breath. How did it come to this? Memories of the day Axel proposed came rushing back to him. He remembered how random, adorable, and somehow romantic it was. Roxas was in shower washing his hair when he got shampoo in his eye. He called Axel in there to help him out, and he did. Roxas had his eyes closed shut until he felt it was okay to open them. When he did saw Axel on knee with an open ring box. He had said yes before Axel could even ask the question. That's how it all started. Something so simple yet, so brilliant can change two lives forever.
Forever, never ending, to continue without stopping, Roxas began to think about the fraise. He once again made himself nervous. He starred at himself in the mirror. He had to get ready, he would never want to be late on his own wedding day. He heard a small knock on his door. "Come in" Roxas continued to stare at himself in the mirror. He could see in the reflection that it was Sora at door. "Bro, you don't look good." Roxas turned around from the mirror. He looked at his twin, and frowned. "Sora, I am so nervous. I though I had everything under control...,but I don't." Sora pulled a chair up by his brother. He put his hand on his shoulder. "Listen, I don't blame you for being nervous. Not at all. But don't let nerves ruin your big day. You guys love each other, everything will be fine." Sora gave his brother a reassuring look. Roxas didn't seem reassured at all. "What if everything goes wrong, what happens next. Do I end up alone? Do I just go into a corner and die? What if nothing turns out right?" This time instead of saying anything at all, Sora gpt out his seat and slapped Roxas across the face. It wasn't hard, or didn't even hurt. He did it to help Roxas pull himself together.
"I know Axel enough to say, that even if everything went wrong today, he would still love you. Your his Roxas, and you always will be." Sora starred at Roxas with a stern look. It was weird to see Sora this way. It was usually the other way around. "Now finish getting ready. The wedding starts in 30 minutes." Sora gave Roxas a small smile before he left the room. Roxas gave it a thought one last time before he pulled himself together. Sora was right, everything will be fine. Nothing bad is going to happen. Roxas hurriedly yet somehow perfectly finished getting ready. It was time for their day to start. It was time for him to start his new life with Axel. Roxas looked in the mirror one last time before he left the room. When he walked out the room he was still quite nervous. He tried hard to think about all the bad that could happen. Then when he reached the door where the wedding was held, and saw Axel down aisle standing by the pastor, every bad thought went away. It was nothing but good thoughts, it was strange, but he guessed it was the right way to feel. After all he was about to marry the love of his life.
So they are married now! What did you guys think? If your wondering why I didn't write the actual marriage scene, it's because I didn't really know how and I didn't want this chapter to end up bad. Anywho please review. It's much appreciated :)
