So school and fun took up most of my time and left me no time to write any fanfics or at least create an update for my stories. I do apologize for that now, I do happen to find time during certain days where I'm free from the troubles of school and stuff, but I get lazy and tend to do something completely stupid like frittering my time on tumblr or YouTube or somewhere. I'm sorry for that, it just took me to look at my email and notice the random spam of reviews of this story to make me realize that I need to start writing A. S. A. P.
Please do enjoy whatever you can with this chapter as I stray from my statistics homework. In addition with other responsibilities that I do not want to take on at the moment.
Disclaimer: I do not own Happy Tree Friends, nor the characters. The story plot is mine, only.
Days grew longer, and insecurity builds within Flippy. His endeavor to focus on happiness faltered and the obstacles that stood in his way was getting more difficult to climb over. It is a becoming a struggle to accomplish anything for him. Every moment he was either thinking about Splendid or the 'murderer'. And sometimes his mind would love to trick him into thinking of scenarios that exasperated him.
It was a detriment for Flippy to encounter that problem, especially when he wants to relax and just watch tv to get his mind occupied. The army fellow decided to take a recourse that involved finding peace in coffee breaks. So since he was still at Splendid's house, it seemed optimum for him to just use his boyfriend's store-bought instant coffee.
After performing the rudimentary procedures, his coffee was already done and ready to be drank. The steamy hot beverage was burning to his touch, but his body seemed to like it and tolerate it at some extent. So without flinching to its high heat temperature, Flippy sipped little amounts of it into his mouth and tasted the sweet bitterness. However, Flippy preferred his coffee to be sweet as chocolate, so he added some sugar to it.
The house was soft and quiet- the way Flippy likes it to be. There was something that threw off the forest hair male. He did not know what it was particularly, but the sense of security and safety was surely dissipating. There was nothing to fear in broad daylight, right? Flippy thought to himself. He probably should not scare himself like that if he wants to sustain a strong mindset.
But the less Flippy wanted to think about it, the more ubiquitous it became. The house was silent, the doors did not creak. The green beret tried not to cause trouble for his poor unstable mind, but that was the best thing his mind was infamous for. Then, the tv in the living room would not turn on. In fact, most of the house items stopped working when Flippy suspected something was off. The refrigerator did not emanate that buzzing sound it usually sung in its low monotone in the kitchen, the washing machine did not produce the sound of something being rattled. Even the coffee machine stopped working, despite it being used earlier perfectly.
Flippy needed some rest, so he went upstairs to go recharge himself before Splendid came home. As the army male headed up the stairway, a door ahead of him slammed shut. It frightened the forest eyes at first, but he found it completely absurd for doors to close themselves. Especially since it came from Splendid's room.
It's common sense to anyone that had seen plenty of horror movies to know that it's idiotic beyond belief to check it out. However, the unknown and curiosity hits Flippy and he is in the verge of not listening to his instincts to go downstairs and get the hell out of the house. The recourse to open the door became more clear and the thought of running away was cloudy. Flippy walked towards Splendid's door and examined his surroundings for anything subtly different.
The day light penetrated the material of the glass and reflected brightly down the hall. Time went excruciatingly slow and fear hatched within Flippy's stomach like maggots. As Flippy reached his hand out towards the doorknob, the wooden frame opened by itself and behind it was almost a reflection of himself. But it was not him...
Flippy turned around and tried to escape the sight of himself and quickly ran down the stairs, but the male felt something sharp getting injected into his back. He stopped at the bottom and frisk his back side. An object most certainly was stuck, he could feel the pain smashing his tolerance. Within seconds, Flippy was on the floor trying to rid the unknown item, which he guessed was probably a knife of the sort.
Before he was able to grasp the tangible weapon, an identical hand to his grabbed him and dragged his body towards the kitchen before dropping him to the floor. His twin walked forward and turned to look down on him. "Well, what do you have to say for yourself, brother?"
"Brother? I have no sibling, you fucking lunatic!" Flippy shouted his confusion at the twin.
"How can you be so rude to forget your own goddamn brother. It was lonely without my favorite and only sibling by my side." The other laughed at Flippy. The look on the evil one's face was horrendous and even if he sounded inane, the face he expressed was pure blackness and torture.
"I told you that some things just cannot be eradicated so easily. But I'll make sure to turn that boyfriend of your's into a dead body soon enough." Evil laughed as he began to walk over to Flippy.
"No, get the fuck away! I'll murder you! I'm going to-"
