Here's chapter 3. I have no excuse for not having updated it after more than a year or so.
I won't lie but I really did have this written down, like a complete draft. The only problem with me was that it was written in my mother tongue and it took time to translate it into English.
Enjoy reading. Also this is unbetaed.

It was on a Tuesday afternoon when Misaki asked me to go to the amusement center with him. I abandoned everything I was working on in the Student Council in order to tag along. We had been busy for the past few days so the chance to be together like this were rare to come by.
"You seem to enjoy working for that four eyes.'
Misaki didn't even look up from the machine's screen and continues punching the buttons.
"At least I could kill time there."
I shrugged and muttered.
"I thought you hated that kind of people."
That made me paused in the middle of a battle to think about what he had just said. Did I really hate you? I wasn't so sure anymore. I was unsure about everything when it came to you.
"Damn. I lost again. Come on, let's go get something to drink."
He groaned in frustration as the line 'Game Over' blinked mockingly on the screen. Tugging on my sleeve, he forced me to come with him.
"...Alright."
We both went to get some Coke and later on, walked home together. We chatted before going on separate way and it was fun. He waved me goodbye and ran to the opposite direction. I waved him back. In truth, the desire to kiss him still existed somewhere within me but it wasn't as strong as before. I wondered why.
When I came to school on Wednesday, I heard that the second-year student, Awashima was rumored to be in a relationship. There was a lot of gossips about her boyfriend. They said he owned a bar in Shizumechou, that he was older than her and he was a gangster. I didn't care much about things that concerned other's personal life. That was none of my and sure as hell others' business. However, it was hard not to notice the small differences in the normal icy Vice president. She smiled when no one was looking, there was this content look on her face, she looked at her phone more often and her mood was easier to deal with. So love really could change people, mused myself as I watched her.
Summer vacation came before I even realized. Having nothing to do, I spent most of my time at home, sleeping, playing games and lazing around. It was such a bore with no one keeping me company. Misaki came to visit me and helped me escape my boredom for two days. After that, he was occupied with his 'friends'.
The 23rd of August was also the 7th of July according to the Lunar calendar, which only meant Tanabata festival. Misaki chose to go with HOMRA that night instead of hanging out with me. I didn't mind him going with them as much as before, perhaps I had come to term with the fact that he wasn't mine all the time. It was during summer vacation but everyone in the Student Council still kept in touch with each other. Naturally, I didn't want to have anything to do with them, you simply forced me to by abusing your power as the President.
On the Tanabata day, Andy texted to inform me about the Student Council's plan for the night which I had no intention of going. My plan for Tanabata was to enjoy a night with my PSP and go to sleep early. It was a wonderful plan but the person who was knocking on my door just had to ruin all the fun. When I yanked the door open with more force than necessary, the irritating face of you was the first thing that greeted me.
"It was Andy who was appointed to come to get you but everyone said I should do the honor."
I clicked my tongue in distaste and left the door ajar for you. There was no way I could say no now, not when you yourself had showed up to pick me up. I could try saying no but one way or another, you would make me give in soon enough. Running a hand through my messy hair, I let out a sighed. Not even bother with searching for something decent to wear, I just threw on a leather jacket and my ripped jeans. You made a remark about how thin I was and I pretended I hadn't heard that.
We walked to the rendezvous to meet up with everyone which was ten minutes from my apartment. No one was missing by the time we arrived. Awashima, the only girl in the council was wearing a yukata that day and to be honest, she really was beautiful. Andy started to talk about his part time job and how terrible his boss was. Hidaka boasted about his new girlfriend and how hot she was. Awashima said she had been helping her friend at a bar and learned how to mix drinks. Everybody seemed to have something to say, except me.
"This is stupid. I'm going home."
I mumbled and turned to leave.
"Are you not staying Fushimi-kun?"
You held me back by my arm and raised your brow lightly in question. I clicked my tongue and retorted.
"No. I'm going home. I hate crowded place."
"Hmm. Leaving at this time? Now now, that's no good Fushimi-kun. After all, everyone is already here."
Everyone seemed to be staring but I didn't care. Let them stare.
"Leave me alone. You were the one who dragged me here. It's not like anyone wanted me here."
I tried to tear my arm out of your grip but you were just as persistent.
"What if I ask you to stay? Would that be enough of a reason?"
Violet eyes gazed at me with a kind of seriousness that made my heart skipped a beat. All I need to do was to turn around and walk away. But life wasn't always so easy and you were the kind of man who liked to make it more difficult for people around you. I wanted to go home. Staying in crowded place such as this did nothing but to make me realize how lonely and different I was. And yet, you were convincing me to do something that pushed me out of my comfort zone.
I should have say no.
"Fine. Only just for a while. And then I will leave."
Cursing myself for giving in so easily, I scowled upon seeing your face lit up immediately with something akin to relief.
"Great. Let's go then."
You asked if I would like anything, claiming that I must have been hungry. We walked together, separated from the others but maintained a distance enough to spot Awashima's blond hair in the crowd. Thinking about what I wanted to eat, I cringed at the idea of eating candy apples or taiyaki. They were too sweet to my liking.
"Yakitori"- I said.
"Hmm? What was it Fushimi-kun?"
You looked at me in question. There were many people here so I guessed you couldn't hear what I had just said.
"I said I want yakitori..."
I said, this time a bit louder.
"Heh, so you like yakitori?"
"Not really. Misaki used to buy me whenever we go to festivals together. I don't like sweets so don't try buying me candy apples or crepe... Besides, I rarely have any chance to eat street foods."
It was on the first time when we go to the Spring festival. I didn't know what to eat but my stomach was growling for something to fill it up. Misaki suggested yakitori and I remember having liked it on my first bite.
"I see... Have you ever tried takoyaki or yakisoba?"
You pointed at a takoyaki vendor and I shook my head.
"No, I haven't."
"Is that so? Then I must say you've missed out on a lot of things."
In the end, you bought me a box of takoyaki and yakisoba with beef in it. We found a place to sit down and ate together. The other members of the Student Council were gathering in front of a goldfish stall. Hidaka and Andy were engaging in a fish scooping competition. Awashima was standing next to them and giggling when Hidaka tore the net. They seemed to be having fun.
Taking a bite of the takoyaki, I wondered why I hadn't tried these before. They were good, so was the yakisoba. After finishing the foods, you bought me a ikayaki. Even though I didn't like sea food that much, I had to admit that the squid wasn't half bad.
"So what do you think?"
You asked me with the expression of an eager kid waiting to be praised. I reluctantly said.
"It was... edible."
"They were foods Fushimi-kun. They won't serve what you can't eat."
You stated with a deadpan face. I clicked my tongue and avoided looking at you.
"I don't hate them. Happy?"
"It would be better if you just admit that you like them."
You smirked as I grumpily turned away. You bought me some more foods and baited me into eating all of them. It was surprising that they all suited my taste even when some of them weren't meat. Andy was gossiping with Fuse when he saw us lagged behind on purpose. Giving them a deadly glare, I kept on walking. Never once did you leave my side. We left the temple and headed to the bridge. That was the place where they were going to have a firework show and it was really crowded at the moment.
"Fushimi-kun, come."
You insisted and I shook my head.
"There are too many people."
"I know, that's why I want to go to that hill over there, not here."
[We would like to announce that the firework show will start in fifteen minutes. I repeat, the firework show will start in fifteen minutes.]
I heard the announcer said through the speaker as you took me to the hill not too far from the bridge. Without asking, I just followed you, climbing up on the stone steps that led us to our destination. When we arrived at the top of the hill, we could see everything clearly without being squeezed against strangers. Breathing in the cool air of the summer night, I wondered out loud.
"I can't say I want to leave anymore right?"
Somehow, the idea of wanting to leave came back to me and was dismissed immediately. It was too late now and...
"Ha ha ha, not a chance. By the way, have you written any wish Fushimi-kun?"
I thought I just wouldn't want to leave even if I could.
"I don't have anything to wish for."
It was true. I wasn't lying when I told you that. Suddenly, I couldn't think of anything worth wishing for. Misaki... I still wanted him but something inside me was hesitating.
"Hmm."
You were looking at the temple's yard where the bamboo groves which was dotted with a thousand colorful strips of paper stood. There were a lot of people there and they all tried to hang their papers with their wishes on them.
It was a good thing to have something to wish for, wasn't it?
"What about you? Do you want to write anything?"
"Me? That's not necessary."
You smiled at me.
[The firework show will be starting in 10...]
The countdown was starting and the voice of the announcer melted into the sound of people counting together.
[9...8...]
"Are you happy, Fushimi-kun?"
[7...]
"About what?"
[6...5...]
"Tanabata. Staying with me."
[4...3...]
"It wasn't bad..."
[2...1...0!]
Hundreds of firework were launched into the sky and lit up the world with sparks of light. They dyed everything in colors and I was in awe. My parents never cared much about what I wanted and family time was a luxury they couldn't afford. I had never been to a public event until I met Misaki but those times were few, only twice or thrice. It had been a long time since I last went to a festival together with him. In fact, it had been too long I couldn't remember. I stole a glance at you and noticed how the dancing light of the firework were reflected in the depth of your eyes.
I couldn't look away.
They were really beautiful.
