During a dark and stormy night, an Eevee washes ashore and has no memories of her past. A Shinx finds her, they journey together to find the truth of the mysterious world that made their fates meet.

Prologue

Thunder boomed and lightning lit the sky as two figures struggled in the darkness, desperately clinging to some driftwood, sea foam churning around them.

"Whoa!" The first of the two exclaimed, grabbing their partner's hand.

"Wh-wh-whoa…!" The other said, after spitting out some water.

"Are…Are you OK?" The first said as his partner struggled to get a grip on the driftwood. "No! Don't let go! Just a little longer…"

"N-n-no! I can't…hold on!" The struggling partner yelled and slipped from the wood and fell into the clutches of howling ocean.

Lightning flashed, silhouetting a large cliff in the shape of a Sharpedo. Our partner flailed in the water, starting to drift in and out of consciousness.

As the fiery sun peeked above the horizon, an Eevee washed ashore to a beach. It twitched and groaned as the light made the now-calm-sea sparkle.

"Where…Where am I?" It mumbled, and drew a shaky breath. "…I can't…Drifting off…" And darkness claimed their mind.
