It was noon and I was lugging around a lot of shopping bags.
"Hmmm, maybe I should summon Virgo," I mumbled to myself before I bumped into someone. I let go my bags and stumbled back a bit before someone caught my wrist.
"Lucy?" the person said and straightened me. I looked at my aid and gasped.
"Yukino!" I pulled her into a hug and squealed.
"How have you been?" She asked as we pulled back and grasped each others hands.
"Just going through the ups and downs of life."
"What is that supposed to mean," she asked, cocking her head to the side.
"Well, it just that my tea-" I started before someone called to us.
"Oi Yukino!" We let go of each other and both looked to the direction of the voice, to see Sting and Rogue plus their Exceeds coming towards us.
"Oh Sting, Rogue, there you are. I lost you both on the way to the train station," Yukino said as the two dragon slayers approached.
"Yukino, you really have to start paying attention to you surrounding and focus more," Rogue lightly scolded.
"Sorry Rogue," Yukino apologized, lowering her head a little.
"Yo blondie. What are you doing here?" Sting stated.
"You could at least be polite and greet me properly," I said.
"The great Sting Eucliffe will not be talked to that way. Besides the great light dragon slayer has no need to greet you. Be happy he acknowledged you at all," Lector chirped.
"Was I talking to you cat?"
"Exceed!"
"Do I look like I care?"
"Ah. Lucy?" Yukino said, trying to get my attention.
"Oh sorry Yukino."
"It's okay. Now what were you going to say Lucy?"
"My tea-" I started before a little stomach growled.
"Fro is hungry, Rogue."
We looked at the little exceed.
"Well we did miss the train. So we might as well get lunch,"Rogue spoke.
"You're so smart Rogue. No wonder you're my sidekick," Sting proclaimed, which made Rogue cast a vicious red eyed glare at Sting.
"That'd be nice. Lucy you should join us for lunch and then you could tell me what's wrong."
"Sure!" It would be really nice to catch up with Yukino and that bagel didn't fill me up.
"What? Why does blondie have to come?" Sting yelled.
"Sting. You're in my ear,"Rogue spoke.
"Oh didn't mean to do that."
"Yea, I need you to tone it down like down 20 notches Stingy dear." I couldn't help but take a jab at him.
"Stingy dear? You're really going to get it blondie,"Sting threatened.
But before I could take another little jab at him, Yukino intervened. "Sting. Be polite and besides Lucy is a friend. The old days are over."
"I know that Yukino." He looked to me and pointed a finger. "Blondie don't expect me to be paying for you. Now come on, I smell something good."
"What a gentlemen,"I mumbled, which made Yukino giggle.
"I heard that!"
"Good," I said, probably grinning wider than the cheshire cat. I grabbed my bags and Yukino grabbed a few as well.
"What? A fairy against a fairy? I thought you guys valued family and all that mumbo jumbo," Sting exclaimed before taking a big bite out of his steak.
"Yea. That's what you guys kept preaching at us during the games," he continued.
"That's what I thought to, but I guess even the purest of beliefs have flaws," I said after I finished sipping my frozen lemonade.
"Well your challenge sounds very interesting,"Rogue added.
"Haha. Thanks."
"Well, do you know who you want your partner to be?" Yukino innocently asked.
"Hmm. I don't know yet. I'm kind of still searching."
A silence followed that. After five minutes of that silence, I spoke again.
"By the way. What are you three doing here together anyway?"
"Just your normal bandit mission. These two helping train me to get stronger."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Maybe during your four months, the great Sting Eucliffe can grace you with his help," she teased. "But seriously Rogue, Sting would you help her?"
The two stayed silent before nodding.
"Blondie will have to beg," Sting grinned.
"Nah, I don't need help that desperately. I'd ask Lector for help before I go to you." And just like I thought, the grin on his face vanished. Now it was my turn to grin.
"Don't worry Sting. I wouldn't help her anyway."
"Excuse me." I looked at our waitress. "I wanted to know if you all enjoyed your meal and would like dessert," the girl said with a curt smile.
"It's delicious! And yes I'd like a chocolate lava cake." Recently I've started acquiring a taste for desserts that have strawberries.
The waitress scribbled it on her pad and looked to Sting. "Apple pie." Then Yukino. "Pina colada ice cream." Rogue was the only one who passed up the dessert offer. After she left, I idea hit me.
"Hey Yukino."
"Yes Lucy?"
"What are you doing for the next four months?"

Now on of my reviewers asked me the million dollar question. Why is Lisanna the villain when Lucy gets kicked off of her team?
So when I started this story, I wanted to jump on the "Lucy gets kicked out and Lisanna's a ,excuse my french, bitch" band wagon. I don't hate Lisanna but I'm not very fond of her. Heck I'm not the biggest Yukino fan but I'm adding her in here as Lucy's partner. But aside from that fact, I am aware Lisanna is just as sweet as Lucy. The entire Strauss family is pure. I guess I'm not fond of Lisanna yet is because she was in Edolas most of the time while we cried and laughed for members of Fairy Tail. They just reintroduced Lisanna back into the story not too long ago. I might actually really like her once I get used to her being in the anime/manga again.
Another thing about me is that I'm not a NaLu lover. I mean yea it's cute when they have their touching moments, and I don't mind if they ended up being together. But I originally shipped GraLu, like I hated NaLu with a passion. That is until Juvia came on the scene and ruined it, but I don't hate Juvia, Gray and Juvia are cute together.
And no, I don't think you were flaming iamastrangechild . You asked an innocent question and I'm not mad at you because you did.
Now I think I'll go watch Ghost Ride 2.
